The Sheraton brand continues to hit the mark when it comes to accessible rooms. My favorite Sheraton remains Los Angeles, and my least favorite was Washington, DC, but the Sheraton Niagara Falls comes much closer to the L.A. standard for accessibility. Room 427 was spacious, with excellent turning radius for my power wheelchair and plenty of strategically placed outlets for charging. The bed was plush and comfortable, and the room featured a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, refrigerator, safe, and an ice machine conveniently located down the hall. The fourth floor was mostly peaceful during my stay. Three nights were quiet, while two were a bit noisy with people running through the hallways, likely due to graduation season. Most importantly, the bathroom earns a solid 9/10. The roll-in shower was well designed, with amenities mounted at wheelchair height and backup bottles available on the sink. This is one detail many hotels still get wrong, so kudos to Sheraton for getting it right. The lobby was chic, modern, and stylish, with multiple lounge-style seating areas that comfortably accommodated the steady flow of guests. The spacious layout was easy to navigate as a wheelchair user. Accessibility extended beyond the hotel room. The Starbucks, Rainforest Cafe, breweries, arcade, and the Reef Beach Club pool area were all accessible. The concierge team was friendly and knowledgeable, and the staff, especially manager Dani, were consistently helpful and available throughout my stay. Location is another major plus. The hotel sits directly across from the Seneca Resort & Casino, about five blocks from Niagara Falls and Niagara Falls State Park. The free Discover Niagara Shuttle stops right outside the hotel, making it easy to get around without a car. Bonus points: there's a 7-Eleven just three blocks away for affordable snacks, drinks, and late-night munchies. I stayed a few nights here recently for work... Pulling up, it's in a date, rundown part of town, which clearly used to be based on heavy tourism, but doesn't seem to have as much going on anymore. The hotel itself from the outside is very unattractive and also not very appealing, looking dated and in need of refreshing. Checking in was simple and very helpful and friendly. They do have a very odd parking system here where they don't have valet and when you self-park, you bring the ticket in for them to scan and make active for a day. You'll need to do this daily (every day and a half or so), so keep those tickets when you come back in. The lady who checked me hit all the points and was descriptive in explaining the hotel. When I got to the room the first thing I noticed was the horrible, stained, and old brown carpet. The room was really dated and definitely in need of being refurbished. I did see posters in the hotel showing that they're going to refurbish the rooms, but I'm not sure why hotels let them get like this. They go an easy 10 years past prime, I suppose it's to make money back on the expense of the previous refurbishment. Anyway, it's rather disgusting to walk in rooms like this, but I will say that housekeeping here was probably some of the best I've experienced in a very long time! Each day I came back to the room, the room was refreshed and the bed looked very smooth, not wrinkled, made to perfection! The TV was great too because it offered Pluto as part of the streaming offerings, which I love. The common areas are pretty wild here as they look really nice. There's a Rainforest Café attached to the hotel. The pool looks pretty nice and has a large aquarium in it. There's also another large aquarium in the lobby area. The elevators are rather run down, hopefully they're refurbishing them as well. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay, despite the looks of everything. I was able to get a decent sleep and the concierge lounge on the 6th floor was staffed by decent folks in the morning for breakfast. So there were decent parts of this stay. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Sheraton Niagara Falls. Honestly, we didn't even realize it was there let alone that it would be such a beautiful and well-managed property. Chris at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and ensured we were completely settled in our room. His professionalism immediately set the tone for the stay. Despite a large hockey tournament happening in the area, the hotel staff handled the increased activity with impressive grace, organization, and class. The location is excellent directly across from the Seneca Casino and within easy walking distance to downtown Niagara Falls. Having a full-service Starbucks and a Rainforest Café right in the lobby was the cherry on top. You truly can't lose staying here. Not a horrible stay, but also not a great stay. There is a lot that this hotel has going on for it. But there is also a lot that this hotel can work on to make it a better stay. Before I get into the nitty gritty of it all I have to preface this review with the following. They are currently undergoing a remodel, as all the signs posted everywhere in the hotel will tell you. I have no idea on what part of the remodel they are on, but it appears they still have a long way to go. Not to say that it is not needed in the least, there are a lot of things that need polished up. As an overall complex, if you did not want to leave the premise you don't have to, but I assume if you came to Niagara Falls you came for a reason. The hotel is located withing close proximity to the Convention Center, Casino, the falls, and other nearby tourist attractions. On premise you have your choice of restaurants, albeit a lot of them are the kitschy tourist traps. Most notable of them being Rainforest Cafe. The former TGIFridays has been converted to a Starbucks, however the sign remains outside (blackened out, but still there). There are many things to do inside, pool and gym. They claim the pool is the largest in the area. There is a gym, ample things to do just outside. Yard games if you will, cornhole, checkers, connect four. Parking, kind of a joke. You are led to believe that the parking lot that adjoins the property is owned by the property. Upon check in you are told that it is in fact owned by the city. When you pull into the lot, grab a ticket and hold onto it. You will be charged for the amount of time your vehicle sits in the lot, the longer your stay, the more you owe. The website states a price owed to the hotel for parking. In actuality you will be paying the hotel who paid the city on your behalf. The lot does have an in and out policy, 24 hour period from the moment you pull out of the lot, each time you come back, you will more than likely have to get another ticket. When I finally did check in it was a fairly quick action. During check in you are given the rundown of all that the hotel has to offer and the deals nearby you can take advantage of. The elevators are right off of the lobby area and decorated with advertisements. I was on the fifth floor and when I got off the elevator it was a bit of a walk to where my room was located. Along the way you get to notice the windows in the hallway. Olde enough to have been there a while and dirty enough to not be able to see out of. When I finally made it to my door and opened it, I was met with a very musty smell. Like there had been some water damage that wasn't properly cleaned up. The smell goes away after a bit, but when it first hits you you think that maybe you should have booked a stay somewhere else. I ended up with a two bed room and used the one bed as my staging area instead of having to use the dresser. The room had a weird setup, there was a closest right inside the door, but it was so small that it really served no purpose. The way they included a chair in the room really made it feel odd. No real use for the chair as it did not face the television or was near a table. Just took up space. The desk, no matter what I did, the drawer always came open. The air in the room was hard to control and keep at a decent temperature. Bathroom was alright, except for when the toilet clogged. Maybe after the remodel it will be better overall. Just don't believe the photoshopped picture they have up on their website. The outside of the building does not look like that, trust me. read more

I booked our stay at the Sheraton Niagara Falls through Expedia, with the understanding that the reservation price included all costs associated with our two-day stay. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was unexpectedly asked to provide a $200 deposit. No receipt or written explanation was provided at the time. I was simply told that the deposit would be refunded upon checkout and reflected on the final receipt. When we checked out, the receptionist thanked us for our stay and informed us that the receipt would be emailed and that the deposit would be returned within 3-5 business days. After reviewing the emailed receipt, I discovered that my credit card had been charged additional fees for parking, and daily amenities fees, plus taxes on those fees. We did not use any of the amenities during our stay, and there was no clear disclosure that these charges would be added separately. Based on the information provided during booking, I reasonably expected all mandatory charges to be included in the room rate. I find it unacceptable that a deposit was collected without a clear explanation and that additional charges were applied after the fact for services that were neither requested nor used. This practice creates the impression of hidden fees and misleading pricing, which undermines customer trust. I intend to share my experience publicly to warn other travelers about these unexpected charges and what I believe to be a lack of transparency in the hotel's billing practices. read more

The Sheraton Niagara Falls was decent. Good location across from the casino with walkway connecting the two difficult to find at first even with Waze. The room was comfortable. We were perplexed about the Lounge that was supposed to exist near the lobby. No one seemed to know about it, which was a head scratcher. In terms of the concierge, the service was lackluster at best. They were studying the lines for a play or something and could provide Little to know information regarding what I wanted to know about. Taking away a star because I swear there is no insulation in the walls! The hotel is clean and staff was mostly friendly but it's a busy hotel and you CAN HEAR EVERYTHING! Including the tv in the room next door, people talking in the room on the other side, everyone walking down the hall way and slamming their doors including the screaming child in a room down the hall. And if you have access to the club- don't bother because it's small and there's large families (or hockey teams) that take it over so you can't even go in to grab a cup of coffee. read more

This review is mainly on the Spa Suite. I can't really comment on their other accommodations. We had the opportunity to stay in the Spa Suite. It's definitely not your normal hotel room. You'll notice before even opening the door since the entrance has an upscale exterior. I forgot to get a picture. Upon entering, you see the large fireplace, underbed lighting, and soft lighting in the rest of the room. You automatically get a soothing Spa like feel. It's when we walked in and around the corner to the bathroom that I was really blown away. Another fireplace, beautiful soaking tub, a great and beautifully presented assortment of toiletries, a massage chair, and a wonderful looking shower. The shower was a bit of a mystery until we realized it required a smart phone app to even turn on the lights! There was a variety of colors in the lights, a huge rain shower head, 3 coming from the side wall, and a hand head shower head. It was also a steam room with piped in music. Lol never thought I'd be so excited about a shower! Only thing strange in the room was the fact that there was no table near the couch. No place to set a drink or anything else. You could even see the mist in the distance from the window in our room, and we were able to catch the fireworks too 2) Parking lot right next door 3) Starbucks in lobby that opens at 6:30 AM. 4) Casino just across the street 5) The bed in our king bedroom was super comfortable CONS: 1) Check in was at 4 pm and our room wasn't ready until after 4pm? It appears the hotel is low staffed on housekeeping. 2) Hotel was very noisy - non-stop. We didn't get much sleep. This was the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed at. There was 4-inch gap under the door to our room which added to the noise. I tried to wedge a towel in the gap to help with the sound but didn't do much. 3) The bathroom setup was awkward how-to door was installed. It was like backwards. I believe this hotel is reasonable for the price offered, compared to others in the immedaite surround area, but definitely falls short of their 3-star rating. The lobby staff was nice and efficient, but everything is generally old once you enter the elevators: elevator panels were old, elevator carpet was stained, hallways were dated, the room carpet and furniture were old. The room amenities were adequate; microwave, fridge, iron, bathroom, TV, cable options. The shower was nice with good pressure. The heating/cooling unit was efficient and the beds were comfortable. Parking is about $20 per day in the lot across the street from the hotel. You park there and take your ticket to the front desk so they can "validate" it, which gives you in/out access for the $20 rate. I did NOT like that room cleaning didn't knock but instead tried opening the door mulitple times throughout the morning. I heard another guest complain about this in the elevator later that morning as well. Overall, this place is reaosnable for the price...moreso if you don't plan to be in the room often. It is very close to all of the local attractions and a short walk to the Niagara Falls Park and Goat Island. Attached to the hotel are Starbucks and Rainforest Cafe. Seneca Casino is also across the street...these conveniences are hard not to justify for the price. read more

This really could have been a lot better. The hotel is in need of a facelift. The lobby bathroom was filthy and there was a wedding reception in the banquet room right next to the lobby - how embarrassing!!! Our room was in desperate need of a remodel - which I think is on the agenda based on the pictures in the elevator. Only one shower door had a handle on it to open and close. The room itself was clean. The Club was not something I would ever want to be a member of. The food offerings were disappointing and downright gross. This would be a pass for me. read more

Enjoyed my stay here while touring Niagara Falls with family. Location is very close and convenient to Niagara falls Park. Booked the room with Concierge (includes breakfast/snacks-one less thing to stress about while on the trip). The room itself was kept clean; a bit outdated, but still good. Stayed on the 6th floor-foot traffic was minimal. Weekend does get crowded and whines down Sunday afternoon. The pool was completely emptied by the time I got there on late Sunday; I loved it! Pool area also includes two hot tubs; guess the water was kept clean as there's no one else there. Counter staff was really friendly and gave me some coupon vouchers for the casino across the street and explained more about my added Bonvoy points. I can't stress enough the love I have for the Concierge room; the ladies that manned that room was super nice and really tends to guests. I loved that automated pancake machine- it's so cool and hypnotic at the same time; makes wonderfully fluffy pancakes! read more

Let me start with what I liked, good (second) front office service. Walking distance from the falls, restaurants, stores, and even the Canada crossing checkpoint. Also, very convenient to be across the Seneca Casino. I also, liked the comfort of the bed. Microwave and mini fridge, Coffee maker with Starbucks coffee!!! Now the not so great. We tried to park and the mechanical arm was down. There was no sign, another guest told us how to get in using another entrance (they did post a sign afterwards). We checked in at 3:30pm and our rooms (2) were not ready. They told me that I would receive a text message when the rooms were ready. We went to the Misty Boat (2 hours), and back. I made the line (again) and the front office lady (second one) told me that those particular rooms were still not ready (5:30pm) but that she could change them for two others. Why couldn't they do that before? Then, the rooms. I reserved two king size bed rooms. They changed it for two double beds. I won't mind it. The carpets looked clean, but felt weird on my feet. The bathroom is TINY, cramped. I don't know if it would be different in the king size (I doubt it). The toilet takes the whole center. Better to close the lid. The sink was clogged. I had to close the water and waited for a few minutes before been able to open it again. The shower looks old, they just keep it well. However, the shower floor tiles are stained and looked dirty, even when they aren't (or are they? ‍). The multi plug by the bed looked loose or broken. The usb plugs for cellphone cables didn't work (and of course, I forgot my electrical block charger). Overall, just a regular motel with a hotel name. Not bad for the price, but don't expect luxury. tl;dr worst hotel stay of my life. My friend scoured Google reviews and booked the stay based on reviews and pics there, don't believe the beautiful pics on Google. Walked into our first room and there seemed to be old bloody handprints on the wall, no lie. Asked to rebook at front desk, and service was less than helpful, and even downright rude. This is a Sheraton hotel in name only, not in service or brand. (I ran a conference for six years at a Sheraton, trust me.) During our stay in our second room: - Watched a dog poop in middle of the hallway as residents were walking it, Sheraton didn't care at all when we called them about it -Our TV had to be replaced not once, but twice for not working -Toilet had to be serviced twice as well- once in the middle of the night for overflowing (It wouldn't stop flushing itself) -Hotel is downright dirty -Front desk staff is rude and unhelpful The only positive is that the Starbucks here is the best run Starbucks I've ever been to, and so friendly. 3 stars seems generous, once you start adding on the various fees, taxes, surcharges and gotchas, the value proposition goes right down the toilet. Charges for $10/day Amenity Fee, $20/day parking, $20/person breakfast, it all adds up quick. Front Desk staff isn't all that helpful over the phone or in person. Policies poorly explained or not at all, leading to surprise billings. Demands things like photo ID, which is presented, then insists ID holder comes in person, ID holder comes in person, other front desk person has no idea why I'm there. Security theater, poor training, maybe a little of both ? Rooms were clean and reasonable, although bathrooms were tiny and worse for wear, the shower stalls were clearly from a previous remodel, peeling paint on ceilings, no ventilation. I booked one night at this Sheraton through triple A, and with the discount I was able to get one room with two queen beds for $177. From the outside, this Sheraton doesn't look too run down. But immediately getting out of the small elevator and onto our floor, it was extremely musty and old looking. The carpet reminded me of casino carpet and it looked like it hadn't been washed in decades. Additionally, there were small areas where carpet was missing, making it a tripping hazard. The room was "clean" but it was so old and it gave off a dirty vibe. My bf got under the covers of one of the beds and felt small little rocks. We're glad we had the other queen to actually sleep on. The window view was very depressing, I attached a photo. The only good thing about this place was that it was walkable to the Canada side of the Niagara Falls. read more

My daughters and I stayed at the Sheraton for an overnight trip at the start of spring break. The hotel is wonderfully situated in the middle of town, so we could walk everywhere. Our room was ready on time, and was spacious and clean. The elevator was quite busy during most of our stay, so we did have to wait at times. The hotel includes a small arcade (expensive!) and didn't have that many games that were age-appropriate for my five and seven-year-old. The Rainforest Cafe is within the hotel, so that left the guesswork over where to go for dinner. The hotel includes a beautiful pool. The water is warm, there is plenty of seating and lounges, and there are two hot tubs. There is also a large fishtank and fish pond. The towels are also plentiful. Please know that the hotel charges 20 dollars for parking and a ten dollar "resort" fee. read more

Visited in the last week of December (off-season). The check-in process was swift. Parking is free. The location is fantastic, and the rooms are great! They had a coffee maker and microwave, which helped us reheat and make ready food packets for on-the-go. The bathrooms in the rooms were equipped with good-quality soaps and shampoos. For some reason, the breakfast buffet wasn't available. The receptionist told us, "It's closed for the season." So we had to get breakfast from Starbucks, on level 1 of the hotel. The vast swimming pool and gym room were cozy and comfortable to swim/workout. I wish the Rainforest Café were open because it had a great ambiance. CONS: * The service was not par. Was at Sheraton Niagara Falls from 9/21-9/25/2023. The room was clean and comfortable. Neighbors a bit noisy, but expected. The bathroom ceiling had paint coming off. There was two bottles of water left every morning in room and kiosk for tours which was convenient as so was the transportation for tours; as we got picked up in front of hotel. There's Starbucks and Rain Forest cafe which we visited for my daughters birthday. Front lobby was clean and staff was courteous. There's laundry room and I was given soap and softner for wash (free). Great place with plenty of parking and within walking distance to everything we planned on visiting. Would definitely recommend. Saw night light show at Niagara Falls and did tour during day. What an experience! So glad I got to come out and visit. Don't forget the wings at Anchor bar! read more

This hotel has been our go-to place when visiting the NY side of the falls as they offer deals and discounts for local dining and the casino. While the rooms are still fairly good with very comfy beds (keep your shoes on as the carpets can be dirty and sticky), some of the amenities are now lacking. The rooms no longer include robes and guest services does not offer them any longer. We like using the hot tubs and pool when we visit but no robes makes it a rather unsophisticated walk to the pool area. Speaking of the pool, it's getting run down and needs an update. The liner is coming apart and the towels provided are small, more like a hand towel than a bath towel. The hot tubs were not working properly either. One tub was only warm and not usable, the other tub the jets didn't work so it was only good for a hot soak. On the last day of our trip, we hoped the tubs would be working again after complaining to guest services. While the one tub was hot and working, they failed to shock the water overnight and the tub was foamy and dirty. We didn't use it as it failed to meet our minimum sanitary requirement (we've had a hot tub at home for years and know how to take care of it and keep it clean). The "reef" aquarium is also not being taken care of properly. We saw a dead fish in the aquarium and reported it to staff. Two days later the dead fish was still there. They also have Clownfish but no anemone for them. I expect the Tomato Clownfish will be dead soon too. The shark tank is now another "reef" display. Lastly the parking is no longer validated for free. It's now $20/day. That's excessive and unnecessary for a hotel of this caliber. Not impressed this time round. For the price, we might be staying somewhere else next time. read more

Very polite service. Help full. Recommended some great pizza!! The location is perfect for someone who wants to go to the casino. There's a tunnel to get there. Very accommodating with children. Pool is big and beautiful. Hot tubs are nice. The rooms is big enough. The room was 90 percent clean. You could tell the shower area needed a good scrub and there was dust on top of the tv and the mirror. But the beds were super comfy and carpet was clean and no stains! For the price. I don't like expensive hotel rooms, and I certainly don't usually get rooms at the Falls unless an especially special girl is involved, because I live nearby. This particular hotel was really nice to two of my family members when they were in town, and they have also been really nice to me on other occasions when I visited for two different reasons... one of which I cannot write on Yelp, and the other is too boring to write on Yelp. Like most reviews actually. There's still a little overpriced though and the rooms are not really worth the cost. read more

Pool area looked dirty and while it may haven been wear the use of astroturf was a poor one, the draw of multiple restaurants was let down by TGIF was closed permanently, rainforest cafe was understaffed so 2 1/2 hour wait, the hotel itself was clean and staff were very friendly did everything they could to make it a nice stay. Guests in the hotel should maybe get preference on wait list since it's in the hotel for their convenience. The deli shop was pretty good yet very pricy, 3 deli sandwiches, chips and small salad and 1 drink $44. Starbucks was in good shape and pretty fast service read more

Great hotel for location to Niagara falls and hotel needed amenities. We all came to Niagara to explore! If you want to be in the hotel 24/7 this is it. Walk down about 3 blocks to the Niagara State park, close by Rainbow bridge and Maid of the Mist. Niagara Casino next door and accessible through an underground walkway. The rooms were nice, we got enough towels however the beds were hard. Number of pillows on my bed made up for the comfort. Overall we would stay here again for the friendly staff, location and amenities. Hotel concierge were very informative about the area and mentioned alot of things we noticed about the area but didn't such as the extra "tourist tax". read more

Don't count on the Concierge floor lounge to be open and the "premier" restaurant, Torrent, may also be closed. Found the Rain Forest Cafe to be typical for the chain ...the food's what you'd expect. Starbucks in the lobby also typical. Rooms are clean, staff professional and pleasant. HORRIBLE! We got into our room to find a BUG INFESTATION! Brought this to the attention of the staff and response was unhelpful and dismissive. They said our infestation wasn't bad. What does that mean any infestation in our hotel room is bad. Asked for a room change which is the very least they should do but they said they were unable to accommodate. They were NOT surprised please do not spend your money here at these horrible and outdated rooms. read more

The location is great, you are pretty much in the middle of the action. The view from my room was great, but don't get me wrong i paid for it. Had a room with a juliet window and spiders kept coming in the room. Had housekeeping clear the webs, but left the room for a few hours and the webs and spiders were back. Couldn't enjoy the view totally. The said they could spray, but we would have to leave the room. We did, but they didn't spray. Tried switching rooms, but lose the view due to the hotel being booked. Didn't get any real compensation for the risk of getting bit by one of the spiders. Bed was ok, a little lumpy. Also at one point had water back up in the tub that we didn't even use. Not much of an experience...why? Because no enforced COVID compliance, AT ALL! Went to walk in the entrance facing the casino, one woman walking out = no mask. A man walking in = no mask. Notice no one at the counter. Elevator opens, woman exits on cellphone = no mask. These people aren't even trying, either. There's no mask around the chin, no mask hanging off the ear...NOTHING! No staff anywhere around either. No signage about anything. You'd never know that the pandemic is at one of its highest points here. No thanks. We got out of there! read more

I purchased a deal through TravelZoo that was $89 and included two $30 casino vouchers, $20 at TGI Fridays and a Green Card for shopping at the Fashion Outlet (which was useless because the stores either didn't accept it or you had to spend an exorbitant amount to get a small percentage off your purchase). Only after I had booked our room did I hop onto Yelp to read the review... and I will admit, they made me nervous! This hotel is nice and what you would expect from a Sheraton property. The room was spacious and clean and despite what I have read, no bed bugs. Believe me, nobody checks a bed like I do! There was one small issue though which we brought to the manager's attention and it was dealt with by the time we returned to the room that evening. We enjoyed our stay and I would likely book there again. read more
