Not a horrible stay, but also not a great stay. There is a lot that this hotel has going on for it. But there is also a lot that this hotel can work on to make it a better stay. Before I get into the nitty gritty of it all I have to preface this review with the following. They are currently undergoing a remodel, as all the signs posted everywhere in the hotel will tell you. I have no idea on what part of the remodel they are on, but it appears they still have a long way to go. Not to say that it is not needed in the least, there are a lot of things that need polished up. As an overall complex, if you did not want to leave the premise you don't have to, but I assume if you came to Niagara Falls you came for a reason. The hotel is located withing close proximity to the Convention Center, Casino, the falls, and other nearby tourist attractions. On premise you have your choice of restaurants, albeit a lot of them are the kitschy tourist traps. Most notable of them being Rainforest Cafe. The former TGIFridays has been converted to a Starbucks, however the sign remains outside (blackened out, but still there). There are many things to do inside, pool and gym. They claim the pool is the largest in the area. There is a gym, ample things to do just outside. Yard games if you will, cornhole, checkers, connect four. Parking, kind of a joke. You are led to believe that the parking lot that adjoins the property is owned by the property. Upon check in you are told that it is in fact owned by the city. When you pull into the lot, grab a ticket and hold onto it. You will be charged for the amount of time your vehicle sits in the lot, the longer your stay, the more you owe. The website states a price owed to the hotel for parking. In actuality you will be paying the hotel who paid the city on your behalf. The lot does have an in and out policy, 24 hour period from the moment you pull out of the lot, each time you come back, you will more than likely have to get another ticket. When I finally did check in it was a fairly quick action. During check in you are given the rundown of all that the hotel has to offer and the deals nearby you can take advantage of. The elevators are right off of the lobby area and decorated with advertisements. I was on the fifth floor and when I got off the elevator it was a bit of a walk to where my room was located. Along the way you get to notice the windows in the hallway. Olde enough to have been there a while and dirty enough to not be able to see out of. When I finally made it to my door and opened it, I was met with a very musty smell. Like there had been some water damage that wasn't properly cleaned up. The smell goes away after a bit, but when it first hits you you think that maybe you should have booked a stay somewhere else. I ended up with a two bed room and used the one bed as my staging area instead of having to use the dresser. The room had a weird setup, there was a closest right inside the door, but it was so small that it really served no purpose. The way they included a chair in the room really made it feel odd. No real use for the chair as it did not face the television or was near a table. Just took up space. The desk, no matter what I did, the drawer always came open. The air in the room was hard to control and keep at a decent temperature. Bathroom was alright, except for when the toilet clogged. Maybe after the remodel it will be better overall. Just don't believe the photoshopped picture they have up on their website. The outside of the building does not look like that, trust me.

This review is mainly on the Spa Suite. I can't really comment on their other accommodations. We had the opportunity to stay in the Spa Suite. It's definitely not your normal hotel room. You'll notice before even opening the door since the entrance has an upscale exterior. I forgot to get a picture. Upon entering, you see the large fireplace, underbed lighting, and soft lighting in the rest of the room. You automatically get a soothing Spa like feel. It's when we walked in and around the corner to the bathroom that I was really blown away. Another fireplace, beautiful soaking tub, a great and beautifully presented assortment of toiletries, a massage chair, and a wonderful looking shower. The shower was a bit of a mystery until we realized it required a smart phone app to even turn on the lights! There was a variety of colors in the lights, a huge rain shower head, 3 coming from the side wall, and a hand head shower head. It was also a steam room with piped in music. Lol never thought I'd be so excited about a shower! Only thing strange in the room was the fact that there was no table near the couch. No place to set a drink or anything else. I really enjoyed the stay in this room. 2024-34

I believe this hotel is reasonable for the price offered, compared to others in the immedaite surround area, but definitely falls short of their 3-star rating. The lobby staff was nice and efficient, but everything is generally old once you enter the elevators: elevator panels were old, elevator carpet was stained, hallways were dated, the room carpet and furniture were old. The room amenities were adequate; microwave, fridge, iron, bathroom, TV, cable options. The shower was nice with good pressure. The heating/cooling unit was efficient and the beds were comfortable. Parking is about $20 per day in the lot across the street from the hotel. You park there and take your ticket to the front desk so they can "validate" it, which gives you in/out access for the $20 rate. I did NOT like that room cleaning didn't knock but instead tried opening the door mulitple times throughout the morning. I heard another guest complain about this in the elevator later that morning as well. Overall, this place is reaosnable for the price...moreso if you don't plan to be in the room often. It is very close to all of the local attractions and a short walk to the Niagara Falls Park and Goat Island. Attached to the hotel are Starbucks and Rainforest Cafe. Seneca Casino is also across the street...these conveniences are hard not to justify for the price.

Friendly staff and great location. The rooms are nicely decorated and there is enough space in each room. I do wish the shower water pressure was a bite higher but overall a wonderful experience. 10 min walk and you are by the American Falls The national park and near the board of US and Canada Make sure to have your passport with you and it's a dollar $ to get back into USA

Enjoyed my stay here while touring Niagara Falls with family. Location is very close and convenient to Niagara falls Park. Booked the room with Concierge (includes breakfast/snacks-one less thing to stress about while on the trip). The room itself was kept clean; a bit outdated, but still good. Stayed on the 6th floor-foot traffic was minimal. Weekend does get crowded and whines down Sunday afternoon. The pool was completely emptied by the time I got there on late Sunday; I loved it! Pool area also includes two hot tubs; guess the water was kept clean as there's no one else there. Counter staff was really friendly and gave me some coupon vouchers for the casino across the street and explained more about my added Bonvoy points. I can't stress enough the love I have for the Concierge room; the ladies that manned that room was super nice and really tends to guests. I loved that automated pancake machine- it's so cool and hypnotic at the same time; makes wonderfully fluffy pancakes!

Let me start with what I liked, good (second) front office service. Walking distance from the falls, restaurants, stores, and even the Canada crossing checkpoint. Also, very convenient to be across the Seneca Casino. I also, liked the comfort of the bed. Microwave and mini fridge, Coffee maker with Starbucks coffee!!! Now the not so great. We tried to park and the mechanical arm was down. There was no sign, another guest told us how to get in using another entrance (they did post a sign afterwards). We checked in at 3:30pm and our rooms (2) were not ready. They told me that I would receive a text message when the rooms were ready. We went to the Misty Boat (2 hours), and back. I made the line (again) and the front office lady (second one) told me that those particular rooms were still not ready (5:30pm) but that she could change them for two others. Why couldn't they do that before? Then, the rooms. I reserved two king size bed rooms. They changed it for two double beds. I won't mind it. The carpets looked clean, but felt weird on my feet. The bathroom is TINY, cramped. I don't know if it would be different in the king size (I doubt it). The toilet takes the whole center. Better to close the lid. The sink was clogged. I had to close the water and waited for a few minutes before been able to open it again. The shower looks old, they just keep it well. However, the shower floor tiles are stained and looked dirty, even when they aren't (or are they? ‍). The multi plug by the bed looked loose or broken. The usb plugs for cellphone cables didn't work (and of course, I forgot my electrical block charger). Overall, just a regular motel with a hotel name. Not bad for the price, but don't expect luxury. Other Marriott are way better.

Please DO NOT book a room here. Check in time at 4PM still No Room. Lack of Customer Service. How do you run out of rooms? I booked my reservations in April. Unorganized.

This hotel is located just off of the I-190, behind the movie theater and Home Depot plaza. It seems to be a newer'ish build. One issue with the lobby, for me anyway--IT STINKS. LIKE VANILLA CUPCAKE PERFUME IS PUNCHING YOU IN THE FACE. REPEATEDLY. Most people probably enjoy this aroma, but for someone who is sensitive to fragrance, I got out of the lobby as fast as I could, and was glad I brought my migraine medicine just in case. I would recommend toning down the vanilla smell, some, sure, but this was WAY too much. We had a King standard suite. It was oddly a MASSIVE room! There was TONS of space, so much so they should really add a small table and couple chairs to the room, as it could easily fit it. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The room also had a fridge and microwave, all clean and in working order. The hotel has a small indoor saltwater heated pool. The pool stays open until 11pm. That was nice as many hotels close up pools too early. We went down late Saturday and had the pool to ourselves for an evening swim. It was nicely warm and pleasantly quiet. One thing that wasn't quiet though--the rest of the hotel. One issue is the walls of our room were too thin. There was a youth hockey team dominating the hotel this weekend. Yes, they were loud, but even so the walls didn't seem to buffer much of anything. And these families could care less about any other guests, as they let hoards of kids rampage up and down the halls all hours of the day and night, and the room's closed door let a lot of noise in that way too. We have kids, I get they are loud, but never in a million years in all of our travels did we or would we ever let them just screaming-storm the halls. AND we even saw some adult men, either dads or coaches, wrestling with kids and banging on the walls in the hallways. Some moments of this? Fine. But hours on end? Very poor parenting IMHO, but I digress. Just a warning that if you stay here they seem to accommodate sports team families, and if they are rowdy, you will hear it. Had it not been for them, and the pungent-vanilla-chemical-fragrance smell in the lobby, our stay would have been entirely enjoyable. But due to the ruckus, I am docking a star for too thin walls and the staff didn't seem to care about the chaos throughout the whole hotel that weekend. But if we get another good deal for a future weekend getaway, I would roll the dice and stay here again.

But be forewarned: there are two Marriott-branded hotels located almost next door to each other another -- the other is directly across the street. I saw one couple confused about their booking. They were at the wrong hotel. It appears the the hotel most people are seeking when they book the "best view" is usually the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa at 6740 Fallsview Boulevard. The nearby Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls at 6755 Fallsview Boulevard is a separate property. I was very pleased with the Fallsview Hotel. Unlike many hotels that advertise a falls view but have only a partial glimpse, the hotel's location provides a sweeping panorama of the falls. Most rooms seem to have a falls view. Higher-floor rooms offer an almost cinematic perspective, especially during the nightly illumination show and when fireworks are scheduled (nightly at 10 p.m. after May -- those poor gulls and their babies!). The facilities are extensive. The hotel features the recently renovated Burning Springs Spa and Thermal Pools, a fitness center, indoor pool that is sadly less that 5 feet at the deepest point, direct access to the Fallsview tourist district and convenient connections to nearby attractions. But spa access is not included in the stay-- such a disappointment. Generally, the property feels more like a destination than a standard convention hotel, with many public spaces oriented toward the falls. That includes and onsite Starbucks and Mortons steakhouse, plus a gift shop with a massive assortment of items: clothing, hats, bathing suits and goggles (even for the kids), maple syrup treats, medicine and beverages, etc. The biggest surprise for many guests is parking. Valet parking is convenient but expensive, currently around $80 per day, while self-parking is approximately $50-60 per day and located off-site rather than directly beneath the hotel. Valet service may be worthwhile because the self-parking lot requires about a 5-minute walk and the hotel arrival area can become crowded during peak times Overall, the staff was great -- they even sent up a red velvet cake for our anniversary! And the king suite (23rd floor) was sizable and comfortable, with a jet spa in the room looking directly toward the falls. The bed and pillows were also comfy. They also have two seats right in front of the windows with spectacular views. But there were so many bugs -- dozens and dozens gathered on the exterior glass -- after dark, we opted to keep the lights off. Not a concern, though. I would definitely stay here again.

For what this hotel charges, even if you're using points, I expected a much nicer and better maintained property. Instead, the entire hotel felt run down. The lobby had obvious water damage on the ceiling with peeling paint, which was not a great first impression. There were plenty of elevators, but it seemed like half of them were out of service during my stay. The room was no better. The shower curtain looked dirty, the towels did not feel clean, there were chips and scratches all over the furniture, peeling paint around the windows, and cracked bathroom tiles. Everywhere I looked there were signs that basic maintenance had been ignored. Even Morton's Grille was disappointing. For a restaurant that is supposed to be more upscale, it was dim, the chairs were peeling, and it just felt worn out. What made it even more frustrating was seeing the hotels around it. I went into the Hyatt next door and it was beautiful. Even the Marriott across the street, which does not have the same falls view, looked much newer and much better maintained. It made me wonder why this property has been allowed to get into this condition. The view is absolutely amazing, but the hotel itself does not match the price at all. I left feeling like I paid for the view and nothing else. I would not stay here again unless the property gets a major renovation.

The room was clean and had everything you could ask for. Really, the complaint was the limited TV options, but I probably only spent a few hours in my room, where I wasn't sleeping. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of the attractions, and just minutes from the border crossing. Really couldn't ask for much more.

Three sisters breakfast buffet. ... expensive continental breakfast. (Same free at a name hotel) Bear Claw cafe ... Epic huge donuts and decent coffee. (The only plus I've found here!) The rooms are nice and clean and the Shower is roomy and nice and powerful. I'd give another half star for the swimming pool and gym. Also has a full spa. Another negative is the attitude of the casino attendant that stopped us from walking through with my 20 yo daughter. She had here carry a yellow card and stay on the red carpet. ( I understand this being under 21) but just her attitude of incredulousness that we were trying to pull one over on us. She should be fired! Not a good look for Seneca Niagra.

I've never smoked, so I notice cigarette smells easily, and wasn't bothered by it in our room. It *did* reek of cigarette in the lobby and around the casino however. Unpleasant. The bathroom was amazing with a large shower. Very spacious. Room key was needed to access the elevator and your floor, which was great (*cough* The canadian side Doubletree needs this right now *cough*) The US side of Niagara Falls is super sketchy and just for that I wouldn't be in a hurry to return - I also have no interest in casinos so there's not much for me to do here. Staff was polite. Overall I would stay here if I was on that side of the border.
