Cookies and Cream (left) and Cotton Candy (right) - 1 scoop

Stopped in for ice cream at this super cute spot after hiking the Cascades. Generous portions at an affordable price. Had Cotton Candy, Mint Chip and Cookies and Cream. Everyone enjoyed their choice and would recommend.

Yeah, that's a single scoop and I took a few bites already

I had the raspberry and the boss had the salted caramel. Sheri's sells homemade and store bought ice cream. Of course we bought the homemade, otherwise we would have just gone to a store to buy store bought. As you can see, the single scoop in a waffle cone is as big as my head. The ice cream was good. Lots of flavor and quite filling (no kidding it was the size of my head). The line was long but it didn't take that long to get my ice cream Overall a good place.

The moose tracks ice cream was so amazing we got it 3 times during our trip! The portions are large, and the service was great!

Cute, local ice cream shop in Winthrop. Large variety of creamy, vegan, icy options to choose from.

We love Sheri's and stop by whenever we are in Winthrop. Waffle cones are fresh and serving sizes are generous-and delicious flavors! Lots of seating which is nice. It can get busy so there might be a long line. Get a kids scoop in a waffle cone for $2.75!

    Almost gone Methow Mud

I mean the amount of items available was amazing... but when you're out of half of them and don't know how to do math or help your customers it really brings your rating down. I love the home made ice cream options, if they actually had any. Portions are HUGE.

the best seller is the methow, expresso based ice cream with oreo and fudge, not that creamy but overall nice

    Naked Turtles? Shh....

This a great place to stop on your travels on the 20 in the North Cascades for a stretch, for some munchies, or for sight seeing. Craving sweets, I stop over was necessary at Sheri's Sweet Shoppe. I've never had naked turtles, so I had to pick up a couple for the road. The burst of sweetness was great, followed by the crunchiness of the nuts, and then the chew of the caramel was just what I needed for the next 100 miles. They offer a variety of items, such as chocolate covered marsh mellows on a stick, assorted clusters, fudges, peanut cups, and even an assortment of sweet crystal sticks. I could go on but, well you know.. The ladies were busily working when I came in, but were more than happy to serve me and welcomed me. This place is a sweet tooth extravaganza!

This place lived up to the billing, as we enjoyed homemade "Methow Mud" and Rainbow Sherbet. Very refreshing on a warm day!

Jupiter is one of the best spots in Winthrop to dine at, if not, the best. Despite Yelp saying…read morethat this location is temporarily closed, we decided to still walk by and see if it was open and it indeed was. What a win for us, too, because the food was fantastic and exactly what we needed. We visited Jupiter for dinner on our first night in town and after a day of sunshine and hiking, we were hungry. At Jupiter, the menu isn't large, but they have a good range of items to choose from, in addition to local beers and wines. We were pleased that they had a large outdoor patio area where it's dog friendly, which is where we sat with our dog. You order and pay first inside at the counter, snag a number and a staff member delivers your food to the table. My partner and I both ordered different protein bowls and a salad and had a hard kombucha. My protein bowl was delicious with the steelhead as my protein of choice with rice, beans, jalapenos, greens, pickled red onions, avocado and a cilantro dressing. It was very filling, nourishing and delicious! The salad was also very good, with fresh greens in a light dressing. Everything was healthy and wholesome and left us satisfied. I highly recommend visiting Jupiter if you're in the Winthrop area for a meal. They have fresh, whole foods that are packed with protein and everything you need after a day of hiking. Plus, the patio for dogs cannot be beat as we learned that not everywhere in Winthrop has patio seating. Something to be mindful of if you're traveling with your best friend. I would definitely eat here again when back in the area.

First and most importantly: IT IS NOT CLOSED except Sunday and Monday, despite what Yelp and Google…read moresay, and they are open later than even the hours say on the door: they are open till 8pm (see photo of A-frame sign for actual days and hours). Now on to everything else... this place is great and exactly what we needed after a long drive: healthy, flavorful, friendly, with a beautiful shaded deck to dine al fresco. Definitely recommend and will be sure to come again should we be back in Winthrop.

During the city wide power outage there were no worries if you were near this store, there was…read moreplenty of power - he was standing behind the cash register. Rude, power hungry little guy would have dimmed the lights if there were any on! We arrived in Winthrop shortly after the power in the entire valley went out due to the fires. Pardners had their generator up and running first so everybody was there getting ice, gas and necessities. Little did we know the grocery store would open or we never would have shopped here. The prices are absolutely outrageous and I know the little power hungry guy at the register was chuckling inside the whole time. He was rude to every customer in the store, wouldn't answer questions, said no a lot and was just generally horrible. Being visitors, we were in a bit of a panic, not quite knowing what to do. We had driven 8 hours to get that far and the thought of turning around didn't sit well with all of our tired bodies so we figured we'd get some food and hunker down for the night. Sandwiches would suit us just fine... hey, no bread... frozen sandwich rolls would be great once they thawed. (Remember, the entire valley is without power for an estimated two weeks at this point.) Power Boy refused to sell us the rolls stating they needed them for the steamed hot dogs. PERFECT! We'll take 8 of those steamed hot dogs then... no can do, generator doesn't operate the steamer... then we'll just take the rolls... no can do, they're mine and you can't have them! I was absolutely appalled at his attitude during the crisis of HIS town. He didn't want to help in the least, just wanted to ring up those sales. We walked out wondering what to do, what to do, what to eat (not what to drink, he sold us plenty of cold beer) only to discover the grocery store had opened! Wish we could have taken all our purchases back to Pardners... We visit Winthrop a couple times a year and have never shopped at Pardners and needless to say, we will never shop there again. Heck, it's a Texaco... may not ever use Texaco again... careful big corporations, these little town hicks wearing your logo and representing your company can give you a bad reputation. Note: I typically don't rant or rate low because of one employee or interaction and this one is no different. Every worker in there (3 men) was rude, disrespectful and "angry" with the customers. Maybe some training on disaster preparedness is in order...
