During a visit to Melbourne, Florida, I decided to try Sherry's after a disappointing experience at a Singh's location in Florida compared to the Queens, New York originals. Despite being tucked beside a gas station as a combination convenience store and eatery, Sherry's proved to be a hidden gem. The service was outstanding. My server, Zech, was personable, patient, and attentive, and the staff overall were friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous and packaged thoughtfully, making for a satisfying meal. I give Sherry's a thumbs up and recommend stopping by if you're in Orlando. My 2 star deduction does not reflect the food, but the ambiance - as it is not really a sit-in eatery. read more

Trini food in Orlando is very difficult to come by, so I'm very lucky to have Sherry Trini close by to me. I usually come for the doubles and the pricing is competitive with the other restaurants. I wish the barra was a bit larger though. Very tasty nonetheless! I order my doubles with all toppings. The aloo pie is delicious as well. I have also tried the macaroni pie and curry chicken plate as well, which was ok. If you live in the area and need a quick doubles fix, definitely come here! read more

I'm so excited to have found an authentic Trini spot in the Central Florida area so I don't have to make that drive back to South Florida for my doubles cravings. I saw this spot on my FYP on social media and immediately bookmarked the Yelp page. Since I was in the area doing some shopping, it definitely created an appetite. This spot is located inside of Citgo gas station, and I truly believe some of the best food finds are in the most obscure places. I stopped in Saturday around 4pm expecting the crowd to have died down but was I wrong. As I waited in line, they were quickly dishing out the meals quick. Everything is made fresh and you can definitely see that as they change out the trays periodically. I ordered 2 doubles with tamarind sauce, pepper sauce, and cucumbers. The total was $4.44 which is a great deal. The first bite - I was in heaven. The pepper sauce is the perfect amount of spice and kick but you also get the bite of the cucumber and sweetness of the tamarind sauce. The bara (bread of the double) is so fresh and pillowy. It can get a little messy with the doubles but it's the perfect snack or street food to have. I really enjoyed the freshness of the double and am excited to return for some curry chicken and buss up shut roti. read more

Finally stopped by to pick up some doubles over lunch and it was delicious! The chickpeas and sauce was perfectly flavored and seasoned. The fried flatbread was moist but not soggy. The service is quick. All the food items are cooked. The ambiance is super casual, it's within a gas station. This is more of a pick up and go joint. So happy to discover another trinidadian restaurant in Central Florida. This place is in Altamonte Springs and its located inside of a gas station . Don't be alarmed the food is great. I have tried the doubles and roti. Both are delicious. My go to order is always a beef roti with dhal puri (channa, potato, tamarind and pepper) and 4 doubles lol. The service is good. Amazing buss up. Still soft the next day and you don't even have to put it in the refrigerator. I just put mine in the microwave overnight. I love the potatoes and they're doubles are perfect size for dinner. I get full quick. It's hard to find great Guyanese or West Indian food this place hits the nail on the head. Found this gem the other day inside of a citgo in the aloma/apopka area. The doubles are so tasty and the goat was delicious! Make sure to add the pumpkin. Randomly driving by Sherry's Trini restaurant while heading to Costco and was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is located inside of a gas station. Sounds really crazy, I know! Truthfully, the food is absolutely delicious. I started with the doubles, wow! I visited Trinidad a few years back and let just say it was pretty close to the one I had in Trinidad. I also tried the curry chicken with potatoes and vegetables which was flavored perfectly and not over seasoned. The bus-up-shot roti was soft, light and flaky, exactly what you want as a vessel to the perfectly seasoned curry. Outside there is a young man grilling chicken and lamb, the lamb was my favorite but the fries could be better. They're just frozen fries. Overall, the service is ok, food amazing and ambiance well....definitely different. I got all the food to go. I can't wait to return to try other items. read more

I'm already excited about going back and have told friends about how delicious the food is. My husband and I were out and needed some food--we decided to try a new place and we were only 6 minutes away. We both got the curry chicken roti (wrapped) and it was everything!! It's huge and so tasty. My husband ate all of his but it took me a few hours to get through mine lol. The service was great and everyone was friendly! I'm using a sliding scale. I love Sherry's Trini. I grew up in Trinidad back in the early 70s. The foods are incredible fusions of Indian, African, Chinese, and European. It's an absolute treat. Now to Sherry's. I opened the door and the aroma snapped me back fifty years! Pure joy! The flavors are a knockout to the smells, yes that good! I've had most items on their menu. Each is great. My favorites: lamb dinner on Saturdays only, all rotis are wonderful, get some doubles for those in doubt. Now make sure this is a weekly stop. The service will keep you coming back!! read more

The line at this spot was a bit long. So, I figured the food must be good. I ordered my Curry Chicken and Buss Up with a side of Spinach to go. I also ordered the sorrel. This is hands down the best Roti I've had in years!!!! It was so soft and flaky just how roti should be. It even tasted good the next day! The sorrel was interesting. I've never had it spiced like that before. I'm used to the Jamaican version spiced with ginger, but this one seemed to have maybe cardamom or cinnamon, maybe... Either way, it was very good. Also ordered Curry chicken Roti deconstructed w/ channa and aloo w/ buss up shot roti and OMG. It was BUSSIN!!! If you're from NY this food definitely makes you feel like home. The Roti was piping hot and fresh. We even ordered extra Buss Up and Dhal Puri. The service was great. Staff is friendly and they give you your money's worth. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a REAL TRINI roti shop!!!! Ambiance well what can I say, it give you that home type of style. They do get busy but trust me they are worth it!!!
