We stopped in on a weekend morning for breakfast. We ordered the Ackee and Saltfish breakfast meal…read morewhich came with a choice of boiled or fried dumplings. We also got the Pineapple Ginger Juice. The staff was friendly. I paid with a card so I was charged a 3% convenience fee which for our order totaled an additional $2. The wait for the food and drinks was short and we received all items in a reasonable time. The food was flavorful. The Saltfish is mixed with the Ackee and was minimal in portion size. The best item was the Fried Dumplings. They were fresh and cooked perfectly. The Pineapple Ginger Juice is a favorite. It's refreshing whether it's served bottled or from the fountain. The juice has a good balance of the pineapple and ginger flavors.

It's Easter Friday so I was craving carrot cake. This was place was a bonus to order from since…read morethey also offered regular food that I could get dinner with my dessert. Plus, they were on Uber Eats and I didn't feel like going out. Ordered my usual Jamaican dish - brown stew chicken with rice and peas and vegetables. Started out with the carrot cake - 10/10. Cake was moist, cream cheese icing was creamy and not too sweet, a good amount of carrots in the cake, a big portion sliced in half for sharing, and an affordable price. Brown stew chicken - 5/10. Ok flavor, but the chicken was kind of dry. I would have liked extra gravy but was unable to make that special request. Rice and peas - 10/10. Rice was good, nice hint of coconut milk, peas cooked perfectly. Veggies - 2/10. Bland AF. Everything except for the cabbage tastes like it came from a can. Plantain - 2/10. Bland, kinda dry. Would only order from here again for the carrot cake.

First things first--the mimosas were on point. Heavy on the champagne with just a splash of juice,…read moreexactly how mimosas should be made . My friends and I definitely appreciated that ratio. The food was seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. Every single person at the table enjoyed their dish, which says a lot. Unfortunately, we dug in a little too fast and I forgot to take pictures, but that should tell you how good it looked and smelled when it hit the table. The music and vibe were great, making it a fun and relaxed brunch spot. Overall, good food and strong mimosas. Our waitress, Abbey was great. I'd definitely come back!

When we arrived, our waitress mentioned she was the floor manager, but honestly she seemed to be doing every job bartender, server, running food, outside, in the kitchen she was everywhere. Because of that, we had long waits just to place orders or ask for anything we needed. I ordered the French toast with an extra side of bacon. When the food came out, they forgot my syrup. When I asked for it, someone told me I had to pay for syrup, even though I never received any in the first place. I also ordered a lychee mimosa, and it took about 20 minutes just to get the drink, which was frustrating. The bingo portion was fun, but the rounds felt spaced out about every 20-30 minutes. If you're sitting inside, the caller is hard to hear because the music continues to play, so you end up asking for numbers to be repeated. Overall, the whole experience felt unorganized. They definitely need more staff or better management during brunch events. This was my third time giving this location a chance, and unfortunately I will not be returning.
