We stopped by trying to drop off a package for UPS, however the front door was wide opened and when we walked in the door buzzer went off. The owner I'm assuming she was rudely yells "Seriously, so closed!!". I think there was a more polite way to say she was closed versus being a complete jerk about it. I have used She's the Shipper and Dani's mailing service for many years. I actually moved several months ago and even though there are more convenient establishments closer to home I continue to go to Dani's. She provides great customer service and I never have to worry about my packages. One of the advantages of being a business owner is you get to do what you want, dress how you want and act in any manner that suits you. I hate going to the post office with a burning passion, especially when I have a toddler in tow. She's The Shipper is the best and I'll never go back to a regular post office. I discovered this spot when I was at Golden Spoon and decided to give it a try. I've been there at least 5 times now and I'm always impressed with the speed and service and most importantly the quality. As someone who prefers to support small, local businesses, this spot is the best. I've held onto this review for a couple of years now after using this service. I had two precious glass light covers from the 1950's I inherited from my grandmother and was moving and wanted them professionally handled and shipped. I took them here and it was during COVID so only one person was allowed in the store at a time. I wanted to wait to watch them pack it, but someone else wanted to come in and so I had to leave. When the package arrived at my sister's house as soon as she picked up the box, she knew the contents were broken. She took pictures and it was reported to Dani right away and her and another woman that was working in the back got very defensive about it and claimed to have been so careful and she looked at the pictures and with a small crumpled in corner, it was the shipper's fault, not theirs. She managed to get my money refunded and it wasn't until I finally saw the box myself that I realized how badly it was packed. There was no bubble wrap, no "peanuts" and the two pieces were not separated and were laying on top of each other. Nothing between the glass pieces! Nothing even around them except these air-filled plastic small balloon-like pieces in the corners and half of them had popped by the time the package arrived. I regret SO often that my priceless irreplaceable family heirlooms were totally ruined and I should have stayed there and watched them pack the box! That's the reason for this review at this late date, please don't bring anything that is valuable to you to them and if you do, please stay and watch them pack it so you feel comfortable that the items are secure! They seemed irritated at me coming in in tears and them having to try to get my money back. read more

I go for locally owned places over corporate every time, but sometimes, consequentially, meet higher expenses. Not here. The women that work here are fabulous. They flip the computer around and show me the list of available services, showing me my options to pay. They have shipping boxes, mailboxes, packing material, an outgoing mailbox, fax machine, stamps, envelopes, cards, and anything else you'd need to snail mail something. Reasonable prices with courteous, friendly employees. I'm a regular here and it's been a pleasure every time. Even their UPS guy is great. I was shipping something, and he was there making a pickup...he waited to see what service I was shipping it through, in case he could take my package right then! Who does that?! I guess the service you get here depends on the day and whether or not you pay for a post office box here. The owner is crazy! I live within walking distance of this business and I love supporting local, woman owned shops. Unfortunately, all 3 visits have been met with crazy behavior, inappropriate comments and just all around poor customer service. The last straw was when I dropped off a box with a pre-paid return label on it and she LITERALLY took the box from me and threw it behind her in the air where it landed about 10 feet behind her. Totally unacceptable behavior on top of being incredibly unprofessional. I will never go to this location again! Fortunately, Copy-It isn't too far away and I get AMAZING customer service there on top of being able to ship anything, either UPS, Fed Ex or USPS. Again, I'd give zero stars if I could. I made the mistake of looking back at some of my older reviews and just saw the owner's delusional response from a few years ago. I feel compelled to respond. A portion of her response..."It is very unfortunate that we fell victim to this situation however insurance claims are a part of the shipping industry...We are disappointed that this happened to us however we are thankful this is our first time and we will apply this experience in the future when we are being asked to ship questionably over insured items." That is total and complete BS! The facts... * 10/13 - I shipped a 2-piece vintage 1976 Cadillac dashboard with She's the Shipper. Shipping and packaging costs were $394.60, including insurance. This was my one and only time using her service and the $394.60 was paid immediately via Visa. * Dashboards were in very good shape (no cracks) when I dropped them off to her (I have pics to prove). * Dashboards arrive to the destination destroyed (cracks all over...I have pics to prove). Thankfully the receiver made the driver open the box and check the condition of the dashboards while the driver was still there. The dashboards were refused. * Danni denied responsibility and claimed the dashboards were not the same and must have been switched at some point (despite me providing before and after pics showing they were the same dashboards) * The shipping company she contracted with stepped up and did pay the insurance claim. At this point, this should have been my last contact with She's the Shipper as I would obviously never use them again. * 1/17/14 - An UNAUTHORIZED charge for $935...yes, $935, from She's the Shipper shows up on my Visa bill, three full months after I used her services. I did not ship anything else with her, she did not have my credit card, and she had no authorization to charge it. * 2/14 - I catch the FRAUDULENT charge on my Visa statement and report it to Visa. They immediately removed the charge. Not only was she unable to admit any fault, or correctly address the facts in her response to my original review...her behavior borders on criminal, having charged my credit card a bogus amount with no authorization 3 full months after the first and only time I used her services. She didn't even address that in her response. The actual charge to ship the dashboards originally was $394.60 and that amount had long ago been paid, so again, how could she charge my credit card $935 three months later when my credit card was in my pocket? So glad I checked my statement! And I take my integrity very seriously. For her to say she was the victim is an absolute outrage. If any of you would like to see the pictures of what the dashboard looked like when she took possession of it (no cracks) and how thrashed it was when it arrived and was refused (cracks all over), send me a message and I would be happy to show you the before and after pics. read more

This blonde leather skin lady is so rude and disgusting I can't believe she is still in business, she's way over priced and has 0 customer service, and is very discriminatory! I was trying to send a flash drive for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I had a bad experience with her she rudely yells what do You want! And when I tried to get her advice on how I should send it and what did I need she looks at me like I'm stupid, another customer walks in and she tells me very loudly.."well why don't you figure it out and I'll help him" and she goes to help the other customer.. after standings there for a few seconds I left and went to fed ex.. I run a small business and I ship a lot of packages. I also needed a PO box with a street address so She's the Shipper is perfect. I LOVE coming here. Going to the post office is a nightmare and the one down the street has the worst customer service. I could be having a bad day and come in here and the owner lights up my day. She has such a positive attitude and you can tell she really takes customer service seriously. I don't think I've ever enjoyed going to take my packages to the post office, but coming here is like going to see a friend. Hands down best customer service anywhere. The negative reviews on here are laughable they almost seem fake? A guy who was complaining about trying to fault she's the shipper for damaged goods in the mail. Omg if I have to deal with one more idiot trying to fault a small business for the fault of the shipping service.... everyone knows USPS sucks and trying to get your money back is a hassle but that's on you. You have to file a claim and follow the steps. Why would you blame the establishment that shipped it for you? If UPS kicks your box around like a soccer ball how is it anyone's else's fault but UPS? I am not sure if these a bad day but nothing went right for this shipment. After paying a really padded amount to ship a package to Italy. I received a label wit a completely different address and no tracking number. My postman dropped off a tracking number and thought this was unusual. He later came back and asked for $3.20 more for the shipment. Total from usps $91. From she's the shipper $147.58. Over $50 for nothing. Go directly to the post office and avoid the fuss read more

I'm 63, with osteo-arthritis in my right knee and a broken back from service in the USMC, 40+ years ago. I dragged in an 80 pound package for pre-paid return to the manufacturer. I placed it next to the counter. The counter girl then wanted me to move it around behind the counter for her to scan and then to the back so it would be easier for UPS to pick it up. I walked into her back room and brought back a hand cart for 'her' to move it. She got bitchy. If you can't do the job, don't open the store. And don't expect me to do your job for you. this small local business really helps me send stuffs away. i mean, it is obviously more expensive than usps, but hey, the owner (used to be an old guy, but now a really nice lady) are not robots like usps. they always offer some discounts in any way, the previous owner always give me an "enterprise" discount if the item that i send is a return or a warranty claim or something that is not for personal pleasure. when i talked about this to the new owner, she has no idea at all about the enterprise discount but she gave me free packaging and stuffs instead of the discount. very fair! try to compare this with usps that doesn't provides duck tape (you gotta bring your own or buy it at the spot), who doesn't print shipping package, who treat you cruelly, i think 1-2 dollars difference really paid off. i love this place. being greeted by the owner cheers me up already read more

Horrible customer service today!! Went it to mail (2) certified, return receipt envelopes and was told that I had filled the slips out incorrectly. When I asked how the lady said I had torn off the #'s on the white slip. I politely said no, that I had gotten the slips from our office and this is the way they were. She then very rudely said "So, you are calling me a liar to my face!" Whoa!! What happen to customer service?? Maybe the slips have been updated since our office last got them, very possible but hey to get in my face like that and be so rude....I calmly pick up my envelopes and walked out.
