Printing order of our event program wasn't right the first time, but they made it right!

The only time I have used them is to return items from Levi's. I wish they had more locations cause they are really spread out. However the Customer Service here is excellent. They don't charge to print labels like UPS does. When I'm returning something that's only 20$ or 30$, every 3$ charge counts against my return. They don't charge me or give me any issues about how I wrap it. The Store Reps are really respectful and professional as well. There's always plenty of parking and never a line. read more

DO NOT USE THIS FEDEX LOCATION - Thieves at Work If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, avoid the FedEx in La Mesa like the plague. I've had three separate high-value packages sent through here--all tampered with, all stolen. Items were clearly removed from inside sealed boxes, and this location was the common denominator every time. This isn't a coincidence. This is a pattern. I blame myself for not catching on sooner. Shame on me for trusting this place after the first theft. But shame on FedEx for allowing what clearly feels like an internal theft ring to operate unchecked. If you think your insurance or tracking number protects you, think again. They'll tell you it was "delivered" and act like you're the problem, not their broken system. I'm not talking about lost envelopes or minor items. I'm talking about multiple hundreds of dollars gone, boxes clearly opened or resealed, and zero accountability. Surveillance footage? Useless. FedEx support? A joke. The people here either don't care or are in on it. You've been warned. Don't drop off anything valuable here--hell, don't even drop off dog treats. If it can be sold on eBay or shoved in a pocket, you may never see it again. read more

Full service surcharge of $2.50 starting from June of this year, I had dealt with that at another location in LA when they didn't know what I was talking about and refused to leave a sign out like this one did. It wasn't the case as now you have to go thru a few extra steps to have your photo printed out on the self service area, at the beginning you send your photo to the store email and have the employee do the rest, but now due to the service charge, they suggested you to follow thru with your self service, and if you're not tech savvy you will be in a whole lot of trouble. I have to print some headshots for my audition in LA tomorrow, and most of my format are HEIC not JPEG, so the printer did not recognize, on top of that I can't find anything regarding HEIC converter before. It took me a while to figure stuffs out, but also thanks to the help of the staffs, mostly Tim who volunteer to get me have full access to the computer to try to log in to my iCloud account, then a few other ways until I was able to send thru a JPEG format of the same photo. FedEx now is charging you everything, even for cutting your photo to the size that you desire. But the staffs had gone above and beyond by helping me to print out behind the counter, and charged me only for self service, both my headshots came out great and they only costed me less than $3 total. Simply the worst. I'm writing this review from the parking lot at 8:04 PM. I rushed over when I realized my printer was out of ink and I needed these copies for a meeting tomorrow morning. I arrived at 7:59 needing a few black-and-white copies of a file I had on my phone. The employee, ELLA, was clearly upset at my arrival and said when I walked in and said, "What do you need because I only have 15 seconds to help you" I apologized for coming at closing, that's normally not my style but I was in a jam. I assured her I only needed a few sheets of black-and-white paper printed. She launched into a tirade about me not having a code and gestured to a card on the desk with an email address. I said I was happy to email the file and even showed it to her on my phone. She said "If you don't already have a code, I'm not going to help you." I asked repeatedly what code she was talking about, but never got an answer. She said after a couple minutes had passed, "See, it's past 8 now and I can't help you." I reminded her I arrived before she closed and what I needed would be a massive help, that I was really in a predicament. She said that she physically could not, I asked if the printers stopped working at 8 and she said no, but she decided to stop working at eight and it didn't matter if I was there prior to closing. While I walked to the door, I said that I was really disappointed in her brazen manner and choice to not help. I also said I hoped she finds it in her heart to make a change and treat people the way she'd like to be treated. That clearly upset her because she started screaming at me to get out (while I was already walking out the door.) Get well soon, ELLA. Therapy, medication, vacation, this girl needs something she's not getting in this world and I wish her the best! FedEx: this employee is in dire need of empathy and customer service skills. Hopefully you see to it that she gets the help she needs or moves to a non-customer-facing role. I will never, ever bring business back here. read more

However if you want someone who's going to have attitude towards you and other customers, for no reason whatsoever then meet John. I came in for a tricky copy job and thought I was going to waste copies trying to figure out the machine with the self service, but a worker helped me. She helped me save money too, so I wouldn't have to pay for color copies for all of the pages. It was an easy experience! read more

Most ridiculous wait times to pick up my order. There was 6 people in line waiting and it was 15 minutes before someone came to help.

Jaylon was such a helpful person. Helpful with printing and cutting our templates. Would definitely recommend to anyone for help.

While the building itself, both outside and inside feel like this place is dead or nearly dying, the service from the staff was excellent. The young man that helped me with my shipments was not overly friendly, he didn't talk much, but was pleasant and polite. He knew his way around the computers very well and my experience shipping off some cable equipment to ATT and a package to Texas was effortless. No hiccups, no price gouging on the shipping, and care in packaging the items. That's a win in my book! read more

I've been one other time to use one of their workstation computers. They offer a number of office supply and shipping products in addition to their print & copy services. Customer service is ok, as long as there is enough staff available to keep the lines down. You never know how busy the place will be, but it's usually a bit faster than the DMV and just about the same as the post office (except maybe during the holidays). Came yesterday evening and this morning to send a package out, but the store was closed both times during the business hours listed online.

This location has been wonderful in the past. In fact, saving me a lot of stress more than once. Today, they fell short. One self service copy machine reported that it was disconnected. The other out of paper. When asked for help, the employee decided to announce that my card must be out of order. When I said that the card worked in the other machine, but that it was out of paper, I was asked if I was sure my card worked. At the other machine, the first question was "are you using different paper", and when the the tray was opened to reveal paper, I explained that the machine reported empty paper. The the response was "I'm looking at paper right now." Upon attempting to copy, the machine again reported no paper. When shown, the employee stated "all you have to do is select a different tray". To re state it, assume the customer has financial hurdles, or lied about a machine, or should reroute the machine when it's not in service. A little of a detractor for this usually helpful place. read more

How did this place average only 2.5 stars? That's crazy! We come here for everything shipping and printing related. Our younger brother participates in an event for speech that requires visual aids. You can see how we find their services tremendously valuable. They have helped us print everything from colorful boards to laminating fun-sized liberty torches. Every staff member has gone out of their way to provide us with great service. They have a fax machine that is self-serve and very easy to use. I have also shipped several packages from here to Oakland and Salt Lake City. They helped me find ways to make this process the most cost effective.
