Think this biz just opened. Came to check out what stuff they have and surprisingly I walked out with a few items that catches my eyes. This store has more selection than the other locations. I picked up a few skin care, travel sized shampoo/conditioner , and even a cute Labubu pressed on nails (they are extremely cute). Some VT skin care I run out from Korea. You can actually get it here w/o traveling to Korea lol Gotta come back here again when I needed to replenish my skincare!

A new Shibuyala store just opened in the Brea Mall location, and it is such a cute shop! This Shibuyala store is much bigger than other locations. They offer a fantastic variety of Asian makeup and skincare brands from Japan, Korea, and China. It is so convenient to have access to all these hard-to-find international beauty brands in one place. They also carry a fun selection of Japanese snacks. While prices are a bit higher here than overseas, the convenience and incredible selection make it well worth a visit.

What a nice cool spot to purchase your favorite Japanese, Chinese and Korean beauty products. They even have household items, snacks, drinks, claws, photo section area, and many more. Staff was friendly and helpful. I did not purchase any items, but I will definitely return.

This Asian makeup and skincare store offers more brands. They have the popular Korean, Japanese, and Chinese products that are imported and hard to find in the Bay Area. I was able to find my favorite Japanese Biore sunscreen that my friend gifted me from Japan and saw a limited edition Chiikawa makeup set which were expensive for me. They also have snacks and cute plush Sanrio keychains. This shop is so cute, I would shop here often when I come back to SoCal to splurge on my makeup and skincare needs.

Great new addition to the Brea mall!! Shibuyla is a huge store and has so many options. Very fun store design too, love all of their signage and characters. They even have a small food & drink section with some staples from Japan (including several flavors of Japanese Kit Kats). Also they have a Gashapon section which is pretty unique! Friendly and helpful staff even on the busy opening weekend. Easy to find on the second level above Uniqlo and across from Zara Man

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. This store just opened. Today was their first day and if you spend $39, you get a blind bag with $60 worth of random products. It has a plethora of Japanese makeup and skincare, and some Korean skincare items too. There's a little bit of snacks and drinks, but not a lot. There's also a bunch of Gashapon machines. A bit pricey compared to Japan, but very fun. I didn't see any sun cushions, but pretty much any other type of sunscreen was readily available - spray, liquid, stick...you name it. They also have a wall of face masks for a lifetime supply. Wish they had eye drops, but didn't see any. Located across from Zara and right above Uniqlo. Definitely go check this place out if you're obsessed with Japan like I am.

Brand new store just opened!! Sooooo many brands and products you will be in there forever! Korean and Japanese skincare, make up and body products and so much more! A beauty savvy lady's candy store! A must go!

I just wanted to give a shoutout to the newly opened Shibuyala at Brea Mall. This store is impressively large and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, I only had about 30 minutes to explore before closing time, so I couldn't check out all the products as thoroughly as I wanted. Otherwise, I definitely would have picked up more cosmetics. I'll be sure to return soon!!!

The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

While all beauty stores are small, they are packed with great beauty and salon products which you cannot find in drugstores. They sell many of the products which are available only in salons and for affordable prices. They carry a very wide variety of items and all of those underground items you can't get anywhere else. The sales person are very helpful and friendly, they always have the answers to my wife questions and are attentive and helpful. I've purchased hair color endless clippers trimmers many times, as well as many of the supplies needed to do highlights, haircuts and such. I also love the body waxes and accessories they carry there. Yes i do body wax. They also sell hair extensions, human and synthetic for affordable and I LOVE these because it is nearly impossible to find hair anywhere else. The customer service is also great, there have been a couple of times where I came across a bad batch of wax, and they gladly exchanged it no questions asked even without my receipt. For people that are complaining about the policy be courteous and they will help you; if you come in with an attitude you will get back what you came in with. So goodluck. She was not kind, she wasn't very helpful. I asked for a foundation and she recommended me a couple and I picked the $70 Sulhwasoo bc it felt really silky on my hand. I ended up using some on my face and liked it. I come home to find the oil on top and color clumped on the bottom. That's fine, you just shake it right? The expiration date is of Dec 2025. I have 6 months to use this whole bottle. I used my last foundation for over a year. There is no way a foundation shelf life is only 6 months, that thing has been sitting on that shelf for years. Also, I bought Anessa sunscreen for less than $20 bucks, they sell it for $39. This place can't get rid of their make up bc of their prices and customer service so if you do end up shopping here, you'll end up with overpriced, almost expired makeup. O and they make it clear there are no refunds or exchanges. I have never encountered a beauty store that doesn't do exchanges. How will you ever try new make up at this store? What if you break out or get almost expired make up? Such a waste of money.... Don't bother going here, there's other make up stores in the mall, try them out or buy online from a reputable store

My body responds well to it, and until recently, I trusted the providers there--especially Lori--without hesitation. A few months ago, they suggested I try a newer product called Letybo, which was described as being mixed with saline and supposedly more effective. Because I had built trust with them over the years, I agreed to give it a chance. Within a few weeks, it became clear that Letybo was not as strong for me and did not give me the results I've always had with Dysport. I expressed my concerns at that time, but they seemed brushed off. When I scheduled my most recent appointment about three weeks ago, I was very clear with Savannah on the phone that I only wanted Dysport, as it has consistently worked best for me. She said she would note this in my chart. On the day of the appointment, Savannah took my before photos, and I again asked her to confirm that I was receiving Dysport. She told me yes and said she would confirm with Lori. Lori then came in and performed the treatment. I left believing I had received Dysport. Three weeks later, after being unhappy with the results once again, I called the office to ask exactly what product had been used. That's when I was told it was Letybo, not Dysport. I am extremely disappointed. I was clear about my concerns, clear about my request, and clear about what I consented to. Yet I was given a product I explicitly asked not to receive. Even more troubling, it was presented in a way that led me to believe I was getting Dysport, which felt misleading and dismissive of my concerns. After three years of trust, this experience felt unprofessional and careless--especially in a medical aesthetics setting where transparency and patient consent are essential. I expected to be listened to and respected as a long-term patient, and unfortunately, that did not happen here.

(I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.
