I purchased a package deal here thinking it would be my go to place because I had a good experience my first time going, but unfortunately, due to recent experiences with customer service, I won't be purchasing again after I finish my remaining sessions. On one visit, they gave me the completely wrong massage for the entire hour and I was in so much pain afterwards. When I brought it up, there was no real solution offered--just a suggestion to come back for a partial session as compensation, which felt unfair considering the time I lost. Then on a more recent visit (yesterday), the therapist gave me a more expensive massage than what I had booked. I didn't say anything during the session, assuming it was a misunderstanding or perhaps a kind upgrade. Instead of resolving it calmly, the staff blamed me and made me feel at fault, which was disappointing and uncomfortable. Customer service really matters in a place like this, and unfortunately, these past experiences including the pushy up selling have made it clear that it's not a priority here. I'll be finishing out the sessions I paid for, but I won't be returning after that. read more

Bait and switch. Purchased a Groupon for an hour long massage, and made an appointment. Came into the clinic and was told that the massage is half hour on some kind of machine and only half hour of actual massage. None of this was explained to me at all during booking. Also, the Groupon description does not clearly spell out the half and half, and no description about what the massage chair is or entails. For the price it was waaaay too expensive to just get half hour of massage. The machine portion is totally gimmicky. I was then told that the actual hour long massage would be an additional charge. That's how they get you pay more. In addition, the staff redeemed the Groupon voucher BEFORE any services were provided!! I have NEVER seen this done before, everyone else redeems after the service is provided. When I asked for a refund, the staff and the owner kept giving me the run around and delaying the refund!!! Very scammy! I simply asked for an email to be sent to me that says no service was provided as proof. I was then told the manager would be there in 5 min to provide this, and 15min later manager did not show up. Then they told me to call the manager, so I called and she told me she was on vacation and was on the road for 2 hours, that she would send the email confirmation in 2 hours. A day later, no emails no calls no text. Basically lying over and over again and still won't provide a refund or provide proof that service was NOT rendered! Avoid! Marketing scheme gone totally wrong! Additionally, parking is A total nightmare in the parking lot. No spots what so ever!! read more

They are pretty flexible if you buy their package which is usually for one hour but you can choose 1.5 hrs and they will just deduct from your package 1.5 times. There is usually plenty of parking for the location unlike their other location which is usually pretty packed. I like this location since the staff seems more relaxed and friendly. They do have some pretty aggressive marketing sales pitch which is a turn off for some people. read more

She's quick and gentle, and the products that she used are good quality as well. My lashes still look amazing after 3 week. Dr. Pan have fantastic techniques for my profound procedure, I was nervous at first, but he was very patient and making sure if I'm doing ok throughout the treatment. Their therapist was great and really took care of me the reason I rated them so high. The reason I did not give them a perfect 5 is because when checking out, the receptionist said she had a plan for me, I was like fine. So when she sold me the package I asked if I needed to check in on yelp to get their $20 off offer thats on there and she said no. I have been going to Shine Beauty Spa for almost 2 years. I tried out this place using Groupon. For the value of the service, this spa provides large varieties of facials, massages and body treatments. They invest in equipments and products. Their facility is always spotless. The therapists are great. I highly recommend Grace and Rita. They are personable and pay attention to details. I enjoyed my treatments as my relaxing me time. The only thing I dislike about this place is the never ending selling tactics. Even after I bought a $2000 package that give $2800 worth of services (with a discounted price), every other time I went there, the receptionist/manager will try to sell me something else, like add on products, massage oil, take home cosmetic product (way overpriced!!!) or try out the most expensive treatment, etc. I did buy extra stuff and additional credits when they have real promo... but it was just tiring dealing with the selling. (One of the managers did start backing on pushing me buying more stuff) I wish they would be less pushy and just focus on their services. To close my account because I m moving out of state, the manager still tried to sell me very expensive products. $108 for small bottle of serum? Really? not a good way to end our customer relationship... it left a bitter taste in my mouth. It is very unfortunate. This is why I decided to write this review. I had $22 left after having one of their most expensive facial that I do not feel much different to be honest, I had to use $22 to buy a small ampule of serum that their full retail price was $20. I bought 10 of them for $150. No she did not give me any break, I just got one. 5 stars for Grace and Rita.
