Came here for a quick hang out with one of my girls from high school and we had such a nice time. They let us sit there and yap for 2 hours over matcha. It was also ALL PINK and it was SO CUTE. The matcha was so yummy. I got the banana one. Their flavors of drinks are so interesting I wanted to try them all.

I'm a simple matcha and oat milk kinda girl and had not done syrups or flavors... until today. Shout out to Nelly, the barista, who put me on! She was so kind to offer a taste of a creme brûlée almond milk matcha latte she had prepared for another client. I was pleasantly surprised. Nelly mentioned this combo is a top seller. I ended up being lured into a pumpkin pie flavored oat matcha (bc fall vibes!) when a repeat customer-- who also mentioned she didn't do flavors, raved about it. I loved it! It wasn't sweet--just a nice little oomph with a side of festive. While I don't know that I'm ready to fully divorce my go to basic matcha, I am so glad I dipped a toe at Vanity House. A fantastic first time experience. Ps I also had a pastry (croissant type) but didn't care for it as much. It was pretty and warmed up, but the texture didn't feel as fresh for me. In any case, I would absolutely give Vanity House another go. Thanks, VH and Nelly!

I chose to have my service with whoever was available and was assigned to Rosa. I arrived exactly on time for my appt. I told them I was here for my appointment and was gestured towards one of the pedi stations. I peeked at the name tag of the woman at the station and it was Rosa. She had me choose which pack I wanted to use for the spa pedi then she went through a multi-step process. I wasnt counting but it felt like at least 5 steps. She set a 5 min timer for a foot massage and kept going a little bit after the timer went off. This was honestly the best pedicure I've had anywhere. A lot of places do a quick brush of the foot but Rosa really brushed my feet. Afterwards she painted my toenails really quickly. They look great and are still going strong. I browsed pinterest to decide what I wanted my nails to look like (I had been looking while getting my pedi too). Rosa started browsing pinterest on her phone too and suggested styles to me. Rosa was really patient, i never felt rushed. I think she had another appt soon after me but i didn't feel like she rushed through doing my nails. She checked that i liked the snowflake on each hand before we cured it. We took the inspiration from Rosa's nails. I took a picture of both of our nails together at the end! The edges of my mani started lifting at the one week mark. I could feel them catch on my clothes. Its been a week and a half now and almost every nail is lifting. Some of the edges that lifted have come off. Not ideal. But the day I had them done, I did have my hands in and out of water for around 2 hours. On some of my nails you can see the stroke marks of the metallic purple and where it tapers off at the edge of my nail isn't consistent from nail to nail. Overall I liked my experience and would come back. I wonder if they'll last longer next time. If my next gel mani starts lifting at the one week mark again I'll have to consider going elsewhere.

I was going for a pedicure with their Monday & Tuesday special for $34. While waiting to get my feet done I decided to do my nails. The girl who did my nails did an exceptional job. Her patience, preciseness and the look of my nails were great. Also, one of the workers offered me a complementary bottle of water. When I was finished with my nails my nail girl asked the pedicure lady if she would take me. She said no and put on her things and left the shop. It was around 7pm so I was like whatever. Didn't think I would be back, but when boredom strikes.... I ended up coming back the next day for an exceptional job on my toes as well. Would I return? Yes I would. It was a decent experience and I feel like the quality was worth the price.

I had to come back to have it fixed, and I was charged more than I expected for the repair, which was already disappointing. Despite that, I decided to give the salon another chance. I walked in requesting a simple white acrylic pedicure. The staff asked one of the nail technicians if she wanted to do my service, and she looked around, shook her head "no," and then the employees laughed and giggled among themselves. As a customer, that was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. Then I was told the acrylic pedicure would cost $90, even though the salon's own price chart listed it at $80. It felt like the price was being increased to discourage me from getting the service after the technician made it clear she didn't want to do it. I politely said, "I'll be back," but the truth is I won't. This would have been my third time trying to support this business, and the lack of professionalism was the final straw. Customer service should make people feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door, not embarrassed or like they're an inconvenience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Respect, professionalism, and consistency matter just as much as the quality of the nails.
