Placed & paid an order online for 6AM today. Sent my bf and after showing them the receipt and haggling with them, we came home with these. I ordered 7 white with sprinkles (expected colorful sprinkles and got Saint Patrick's day) 1 strawberry with sprinkles (saddest thing I've ever seen) and 4 glazed. These donuts are ice cold and hard not even sure they're fresh. I called them and they asked me to bring the donuts back to redo?? I declined because I'm not taking food from my family and driving back. I just won't order again. Sad experience. OH & they close at 12pm it's on a piece of paper on their door. Love this place for breakfast! Pastries are hand made. Kolaches are handmade and they have a simple, yet tasty variety (sausage & jalapeño). Coffee is fantastic-gives the chains a run for their money. And their ice coffee/mocha is incredible. Doughnuts.....well.....not a big donut eater but I tell you what, their cinammon rolls...oh my! Only drawback, $5 min on credit card transactions. You get so much for your money in terms of quality and customer service. Big fan of this location! read more

Ordered online and went to pick it up. They never got my order in their system, but I was charged. Stood there waiting for someone to assist or at least make my order. While other customers were ordering. The girl in the front acted as if she was scared to ask me which assorted items I ordered. They ran out of a item that I already ordered and paid for. Finally got my order went to my truck to count them and I was shorted. Had to go back to get the item I paid for. The older man apologized, but I will never go back. I live near the Shipley's on Blanco and wilderness oak and it is awesome! I expected this Shipley's to be no less and I was sorely disappointed. Stopped by on the way to work in Live Oak and I should have gone with the known quantity, my neighborhood Shipley's. The glazed were acceptable but the raspberry filled were not sellable. I get they can't be minutes old every time I walk in but these had to be days old and they were flat. FLAT! How is a filled donut flat? It is FILLED. Nevertheless, this one was so flat, it's concave. The sales clerk should have realized it wasn't up to standards and said something. But apparently this is acceptable for this store. I called to say something, maybe they'd take them off the shelf, but the person who answered was pretty indifferent. At this point I'd said I'd be in for a refund. After consulting with the 'in house expert donut manager', I was actually told to bring the donuts back! They came to an office! I'm supposed to go and ask for the discarded donuts (with bites missing), put them in the box and return them! And so I shall and write this review. Shame on you Naco Shipley's!!! read more

My belly was telling me it was time to get a small snack. Aaahhh, I see a Shipley's. Perfect!! I walk I see the vast array of doughnut and flavors. My mouth is watering with anticipation. Usually, I've never had a problem at this Shipley's, but today I did. We ordered a dozen donuts, 1 cheese kolache, and 3 plain sausage kolaches. I also asked if there were any fresh and the cashier assured me that they were, I had to microwave them... they also gave us 4 cheese kolaches instead. We even have them a tip. Contrary to what everybody says all chain locations are are not the same. Some McDonald's, Wal-Marts, Targets, and Taco Cabanas are better then others. That being said I currently had a very bad experience at a donut place that had the nerve to call itself a Shipley Donuts. Right away I noticed the prices were higher than my usual Shipley location on 1604. They charged .71 cents per glazed donut a mark up that was noticeable to me. It looked like they raise prices often because they had mark overs and number stickers all over the overhead menu. You could see tape residue on it from previous number stickers. Another thing I noticed right away was the young store clerks had flirty and unprofessional attitude as if they worked at a strip joint or other place where they show for tips. "Girl can you please hide your boobs I don't like breast milk with my donuts." No wonder their tip jars were overfilled with 1 dollar bills. That's just something I don't expect when I'm going to pick up donuts. I ordered glazed donuts and sausage and cheese kolache. Which are always fresh and great tasting. Not this time Not this location my donuts and kolaches were cold; almost like if they were made yesterday. My son said the kolaches were very small and didn't taste very good. But, I didn't have time to return the store to complain. Instead I called the place, and they informed me that they have some fresh ones now if I wanted to go pick them up. I told them No I don't want to break copyright laws by returning to a fake Shipley Donuts, and I will take my business to the more deserving 1604 location. 1 star for this poor excuse for a donut place. Go to the 1604 location for your Shipley's morning treats. Unless you like bad donuts and a boob show. One other thing they don't like to accept debit cards; there are signs all over the place protesting this type of payments. read more

i was really excited to see a donut place that was not in orlando but unfortunately the taste of the food did not live up to my expectations. they donuts are very affordable and big but they did not have very much flavor and you could not really taste the glaze. there were these adorable locals in there and the servers were very friendly. read more

Today, February 9, 2018, I went to the Shipley Do-Nuts store on Nacogdoches Rd in San Antonio where I have gone for years and bought an "apple fritter" which I usually get there. I began eating it and, it was about 5" in diameter. I ate and ate on it and there was only about 1/4 teaspoon of apple in the center and I was so disgusted that I quit eating it and felt like going back there and standing out front to show all other customers what to expect but, I don't have time right now but, I still may do that. If I owned that place I would fire the management real quick before he ran/she ran off all of the customers. read more

Today I asked if I order a dozen of donuts are you able to split it up into different boxes... They replied yes however when they charge me they charge me for 2 half a dozen donuts instead of the one dozen. When I asked if they had charge me for 2 half a dozen donuts which is more expensive... They said yes. Another lady rang me up as the other one finish my order, and I told her I specifically asked about this before I got the donuts and they told me yes. The lady charging me rolled her eyes and walked away while I was trying to explain what it happened. The lady I had asked said that's not what you asked me... I told her if I'm asking you if I buy one dozen donuts if you can put into different boxes, why wouldn't you say no we have to charge for to half a dozen donuts . Both workers walked away and seemed unconcerned about my issue. Worse experience I have had here. Will not come back ... really wish management or owner looked into employee treating customers.
