One of my favorite places to eat. So far i haven't gotten anything that i have not liked. Most of the time they give me extra wings and I totally recommend the turkey avocado sandwich. My first impression of this place was "damn right by the smoke shop & a laundry mat." You walk in and it's actually nice.. a couple different tv's with different sports. Our waitress I believe was named Jackie (j.o.) was amazing. She did awesome. My husband & I both ordered burgers with garlic fries. My burger looked awesome but my husband's burger had a little bit of green on the top of the bun.. we sent the burger back and the cook said it was "dried avocado" which made sense because I had an avocado burger. They replaced the bun as we requested and they didn't have attitude or anything which is refreshing to see. I'll come back as long as she is our waitress. read more

Used to be a great place but after the last menu change, not so much. The chicken sandwiches used to have a full chicken breast. Since the change, I think they are getting 3 sandwiches out of one breast. Before the change you could sub out the fries or tater tots for vegi sticks at no additional charge. Horrible! I can't believe anyone could give this place a good review. One of the reviews said it was very clean. No, it's not. It's dusty and dirty with no lights on in the daytime and bit of debris on the floor. Yuck. Manteca doesn't have much to choose from besides some chains and fast food, so I checked out Yelp (was there on business, but also brought my kid). Yelp was no help today. I asked about the sides- the don't make any of them. They're all frozen. My kid had wings with spicy BBQ sauce, but she couldn't eat them. The sauce wasn't spicy. It was too tangy and the chicken was too salty. I had a BBQ tri-trip sandwich. Horrible. It was cheap, chipped beef with bad BBQ sauce and that was it. I got about 1/4 of it down. Fries were substandard- mostly tasteless. We couldn't eat the food. Should have just gone to fast food. I know Jack in the Box can do a decent sandwich and some good fries! read more

I love going to this place. It is a place where you can kick back, have some funny, watch some sports, and drink some beers. I never feel any tension nor have I ever seen any fights. It gets down to good company and awesome laughs. You never have to worry about what you're wearing or any unwanted looks. This is a blue collar establishment. The service is great. If you show a little respect, you will never be without a drink or food. As long as you remember that this is a working class diner, the service will as be right there. The food is excellent in my taste. I am of the blue collar crowd and it is made to taste. This place was awesome! I went with a group on our way back to SF from Yosemite. They had great deals, a super friendly wait staff, and they definitely satisfied our hunger. Honestly I am not impressed. My dad really likes the place and wanted me to try it. He told me about their calamari sandwiches. I LOVE calamari and really wanted to try it. My dad and I came in on a busy night and ordered some food to go. We ordered three meals. We figured it was take a while since i was a busy night. A half an hour passed and we were still waiting. I decided to give it some more time. When I stared to observe that people who came in after us were being served I said something. It had been 45 minutes at this point. Well come to find out instead of putting our order in the back for the cooks to make our order was put in a tub for the paid for orders with receipts in the front. So they never had our order. had I not said something we would have waited much longer. Once this error was brought to their attention I honestly expected them to try to get out order ready as soon as possible and I did expect them to start working on our order right away. They did not do that and we waited about another 20 minutes. They also offered no discount or any discount for next time for their error which I thought was a little messed up. Once the cooks finished out order I noticed that they only had made two orders instead of the three. He didn't read the order right and I had to say something. Then we waited even longer. It took an hour and a half for us to get three to go orders when all was said and done. I speaks to the lack of organization and I was not very happy. They mentioned we can phone orders in and come and pick them up and that is definitely the way to go. Now I definitely take ownership for showing up on a busy night without phoning the orders in advance was not the smartest move BUT it still took longer than it rightfully should have because our ticket was misplaced. The reason why I let so much time pass was because I expected to wait a little while. The calamari sandwich was unimpressive. I did not enjoy it very much personally. It lacked flavor and it was a calamari steak. I thought it would be a sandwich with individual pieces of calamari. The tarter sauce lacked flavor as well. The garlic fries were good though, like the kind you get at the baseball games. I have gone back twice since then because I really wanted to try their hot wings. My first order of wings was the "mild" and I was very disappointed. I ordered "mild" because I was not sure how hot their hot was and when I asked I did not get much of an answer. The chicken was dry and the sauce had no flavor. There also was barely any sauce on the wings at all. Very plain. I decided to give them one more try because the first time I came I saw orders of wings being made and they had alot of sauce and they looked really good. I went for "hot" this time and for me the flavor still fell short and he chicken was still dry. I have gone there 3 times with my family love this place. I personally loved the wings so did my husband n girls. They have a lot of meat on them. Lemon pepper yum! I recommend this to a couple coworkers n they loved as well. Wow this place surpassed my understanding!! I barely noticed it the night my son and sister and I were driving around the town in search of a place to eat. As we drove past the place only looking at the laundromat, my sister said "STOP". We went back and parked and went in. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We sat down and ordered burger and fries. I am very particular but found a spicy burger on the menu that tickled my fancy. When the food arrived steaming hot we were all surprised by how good it looked. As we took our first bites hungrily we all smiles and began laughing. The food was GREAT! It was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I had garlic tater tots and they were on point also. I couldn't wait to write their review because this was unexpected.
