The ballpark looks over the Puget Sound and downtown Seattle. Fantastic views! Gorgeous setting. We were able to score discount tickets to the game via a college/student rate. It was a great way to get into teh action at a reasonable price. Even the upper bowl seating is pretty good. There are tons of food options here. Everything from classic ballpark hot dogs and snacks, to gourmet teriyaki from local spot, Marination, or legendary pizza from MOTO. The kids' club program here is also very cool. You can score discount tickets to future games, free hats, and lanyards for each kiddo you have in your group. Great access to the ballpark via bus or train. Seemed like there were many parking options nearby for those visiting via car. Great ballpark, entertaining baseball game, fantastic views.

I don't think there's a bad seat in the house…read more If I had to choose, I'd either sit in the upper deck on the first base side in between the pitcher's mound and mid right field and enjoy the downtown skyline or I'd sit on the third base side of the lower deck, so I could enjoy the play up close and catch any replays on the stadium's larger than life videoboard. I loved the standing room only area behind the centerfield fence. Normally I'm more of a sitting in my seat guy, but it was fun watching a few innings while standing a few steps from the centerfielder and the Mariners bullpen. Behind the left field fence, fans can gather by both bullpens to watch the pitchers warm up. It's first come first serve and can get busy, but it's also really cool. Food, beverages and merchandise are available throughout the stadium, however most of the cool stuff is behind the left field stands wrapping around to the centerfield batting eye. I tried finding the SEAcret cocktail place - a hidden speakeasy-influenced window that provides an opportunity to purchase a special cocktail available only for the game you're attending. Unfortunately, I wasn't successful, however it's a cool Easter egg and something to look for. A quick note - the hallways and stairwells are narrow and lines will form. Please be patient while you're making your way through the concourse. Parking is also at a premium. Please take the light rail if you're able. It can get crowded, but it also drops you off about three blocks from the stadium

You had to buy tickets through a special link in order to get a hat representing your house and mascot on it. I was happy to see that parking was free!! I am not used to that perk. Coming in the gate was very simple. I added the tickets to my apple wallet for easy access and scanning. Everyone seemed to be outside by the concourse either in line for food or hanging out in a family style grass area with activities for kids. I don't like that if you want a burger and fries, you have to stand in two lines. The burgers come with plain lays chips and same for the hotdogs but separate lines. The fries are a different line and they also had chicken tenders. We stayed in one line and both got double cheeseburgers. The frog shop is a good size and had plenty of items go choose from. I browsed but didn't buy anything. My husband went back and got a zip up sweatshirt since it got cold after the sun wasn't hitting us. I apparently purchased General Admission and that consists of metal bleachers. They also get cold. We chose the 3rd base side which was cool because that is where the home team did their warm up. Once the game started, I felt it was a little difficult to pay attention. The seats had a good view but I would prefer closer to home plate and being a part of the action. I was excited to have a nice mountain view too but they were hiding a bit. We will definitely go back and try different areas to see what we like best!

I tooted anonymously. 10/10 bathrooms, good for explosive poopies.

What a cool experience checking out the climate pledge arena in seattle. We stopped by for a…read moreSeattle Storm (WNBA) game and it didn't disappoint. When you arrive parking is difficult around the arena. We ended up parking about 10 blocks away and walking up to the stadium. When you arrive you'll want to get in line to get through security and have your ticket scanned. Once we moved through security, you'll walk in a tech forward, modern, and Pacific Northwest themed arena. To find our seats we ended up walking by different species of plants and other cool features in climate pledge arena. We then sat down and watched the game. The seats were very comfortable and there are two screens over each hoop essentially which really helps your view from all seats in the arena. The game was a blast and definitely recommend stopping by the arena for a storm or kraken game.

We enjoyed walking the entire property before the game. There is a huge Kraken merch store, tons of food options, several VIP lounges, and even during a packed hockey game, there was space in the arena where it didn't feel like sardines packed in. The Pepsi Breakaway deal is the way to go if you see an event where it is offered. For $300, you get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Pepsi beverages, and a bag of popcorn. This was a win for our family! Dinner and a hockey game made for a great night while vacationing in Seattle. Even in the nosebleeds, the view was pretty good, and they offer lots of screens to make sure you don't miss a beat. Climate Pledge is high-tech, eco-friendly, clean, orderly, and we couldn't have asked for more during our experience.

The seating area was easy to navigate and we felt safe with our stuff in the stands with our teammates. For the track, the surface was smooth and comfortable to run on (my race was the 800 metres run). I had no complaints from my experience, though I have been known to confuse the venue with the track and field at Lake Stevens High School.

Great hockey & concert venue, with excellent concession and event staff, marred by some truly…read moreatrocious, smug, rude, condescending and callous management. Before delving into all that, though, I will summarize some of its best features: * Free parking (in the east lot only, however) * Wonderful security, concession, and event staff (minus one manager in particular) * Spacious venue, with great sight lines, even from the floor Now, on to the problem: Myself, my wife, and another 20-or-so attendees had VIP Meet & Greet tickets to meet one of the bands in the lineup for our event, to which we were invited into the venue early to hang out with them, take pictures, etc. Although our band was not the headliner, we were told by event staff that, once our session was done, we'd have to head back outside. However, we were explicitly told to line up behind the VIP line for the headliner, and once their session was one, we'd ALL be allowed entry into the venue early, partially to avoid the 90+ degree heat and direct sunlight hitting the glass and reflective mirrors on the sunny-side of the building, where our lines were told to assemble. We confirmed this multiple times with the gentleman, who was friendly, warm, helpful and welcoming. Once we were back outside, things took a turn south, as the Events Manager, the aforementioned smug, rude, condescending and callous mentioned above, decided otherwise, and subjected nearly two dozen people to several hours of sun exposure, simply due to her being on some sort of power trip. Multiple people in our group would end up suffering from heat-related health issues, including two diabetics. Thankfully, some of the caring concession staff inside, noticing our plight, offered some free cold beverages to help alleviate their suffering. Despite being informed of what the previous gentleman had said, as well as the condition of the people suffering in the heat, the Events Manager continued to be smug and dismissive, her response always distilling down to basically "because I said so". Her final excuse was that our tickets simply could not be scanned for entry prior to a certain time, which is true to a point. However, as one of the people in our group worked for Ticketmaster, and informed her, and everyone present, that this is adjustable by the venue AND Ticketmaster, she ran out of excuses. Once we were finally inside, things were great, once people had recovered from the heat. However, this Events Manager put people's live in danger for no reason other than exerting her power, and that is in excusable. A complaint is being filed with the BBB by multiple people in our group, as well as formal complains with the venue's ownership and upper management. At the VERY least, in the future, ShoWare Center needs to inform their management that extended queues for summer events MUST be moved to the shaded side of the building, and when people start to suffer legitimate risks to their health, then it's time to take action...or be the subject of legal action taken against them.
