The main issue was the OWNER of the bar was in there drunk as could be. Kept making smart remarks to me and then turning his head away like a scared little kid and laughing like he was funny. He kept telling me over and over he owns the bar to which I told him I don't care who knows the bar, but in a meaner way. He tried to get me to take a shot but I refused and he kept making dumb remarks and hiding by turning away. He then apologized when he could tell I was tired of his act. I paid and left and wouldn't go back in that bar unless it was to beat up the drunken bar owner and his little buddies..

It's been around for a while as the decor shows inside. Outside patio is newer and nice to hang out. Wish they would have a designated smoking area, I know it's outside but you can get over ran with smokers and smoking. If that's not your thing. I would skip this place and try one of the many others in town. Might be back, only because of the location.

This place is definitely a dive bar, no disputing that, but it is one of the cleanest, most homey feeling dive bars out there. Stadium is absolutely spotless inside, and it feels much more inviting than most other bars of its caliber. It was neatly decorated for the holiday, has a couple of nice TVs, a pool table (3 games for $1, best price in town), dart boards, and lotto machines. The bar also had some free food and snacks for their regulars. To address some of the concerns listed in the first review, there is no mistaking that this is a military/veteran-friendly establishment. There is military memorabilia and decor on every table and wall, as well as in the bathrooms, and a giant POW flag hanging right by the door when you walk in. The first review also mentioned that the bar was full of locals, and that is correct -- nearly every seat at the bar was taken by folks who looked like they were regulars, but that's also kind of the point of a dive bar, isn't it? Despite not being regulars ourselves, we did not feel out of place or unwelcome. The bartender was also very friendly to us, and even came out to our table to serve us despite being busy at the bar. If you're looking for a clean and classy dive bar experience in Oshkosh, this place has got to be up there. Don't let the first review dissuade you!

The place was full of locals and they occupied every seat at the bar. When I walked in they all stared at me as a stranger . Frustrated by Lack of Notice on 21+ Policy…read more We drove down from Appleton to hear a friend perform with the Jazz Orgy and were excited for a night of live music. After paying for parking and walking in, we were told we had to leave because we're under 21. Legally, we've since learned that Wisconsin doesn't allow anyone under 21 in bars without a food license -- so the venue was within its rights. But there were no signs, no online notice, and no mention in the event info about this policy. We weren't there to drink -- just to enjoy the music and support a friend. I understand the legal restriction, but the lack of communication made the experience frustrating and disappointing. A simple heads-up on the website or social media would have gone a long way.

I am not anti-smoking but there should be a designated area outside and not right by the bar and door. Left all three times to spend time at other outside bars that are smoke free in Oshkosh.
