In general, I am a fan of the food truck movement. This wonderful bagel truck is no exception. Before our wonderful Yelp Helps event I decided I should get something more substantial to eat. Christina had given us the heads up about the carts, so I was excited to try them, honestly, I wish I could have tried them all! I decided to go for a Short North bagel, since they had a very good veggie option. It was the Erin Marie, veggie cream cheese, smoked cheddar, avocado, lettuce, tomato, sprouts and mustard. It took about 3-5 minutes for him to make it up for me. The steam might have bothered me, but it was a chilly night so I loved it. This was the BEST bagel I've had, ever. I was worried it might seem chewy because of the steam, but it wasn't! It was very soft, warm and delicious. The smoked cheddar was amazing, it had a very full strong flavor. I didn't notice the avocado as much as I would have liked, but there was a lot going on. This is absolutely a food truck must in Columbus!

The staff were friendly and somewhat fast, this place obviously has fans because it was packed! It's a cute little spot with a modern atmosphere. The bagel was perfectly toasted, the egg was soft and flavorful, to top it all off the bacon was crispy and delicious. Cannot wait to get another pick me up bagel from this place, worth the price.

It took about 15 minutes to get the bagel and I'm watching multiple people who ordered after me with multiple items get their food and leave while I ordered a single bagel. I eventually got annoyed and went up there and asked him what happened to my order and I guess they misplaced it or something I don't know, but eventually, my food came out I hope because it took so long it would actually be toasted to Golden, but I actually had to take the cream cheese off and see if they toasted it at all. It definitely wasn't toasted golden and again definitely not extra cream cheese. I don't feel like the order is ever that difficult but clearly they do what they want and you're just supposed to accept it. Definitely not gonna keep going here and giving them a chance after chance for them to drop the ball.

I opted for the Por que no el Puerco on the cashier-recommended pretzel bun. The flavors and the layers were sensational. A great bite without being too heavy or too greasy. The pretzel bun was also a great choice - some salt but not trying to actively dehydrate you with every bite. The Bear bottled latte was also quite good. It was a very unique flavor profile with obviously lots of banana but it took a little getting used to being mixed with the bitterness of the coffee and some of the nuttiness of the hazelnut and oat milk. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to get it again, but with the limited coffee options here, I wouldn't not get it either. Overall, a really solid place to stop. Not necessarily the best place to go if you're looking for breakfast AND coffee, but certainly a great local joint to check out!

Stand-outs include the rotating selection of bagel bombs (Philly cheesesteak, smashburger and a variety of cheesy vegan options just to name a few), the to-die-for brownies and gorgeous custom cakes (our birthday celebration go-to). Honorable mentions to take home for later include a piece of the three-layer icebox chocolate cake (a dreamy 50/50 cake-t-frosting ratio) and, of course, the legendary spicy snack mix. The owner and her team are fabulous at every turn, whether it is to help you decide on what will hit the spot in the moment (hint: no choice is a bad one), or to create the uniquely perfect cake for a loved one's special day.

If you're in the area, this is definitely a must visit location. Just keep in mind they are only open from Thursday to Sunday.

Additionally, having had a Goodman's Deli mile high corned beef sandwich when I lived in Cleveland, I had even higher expectations. Their most popular sandwich is the Reuben so I went with that. Katzingers did not meet them. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich I was shocked the line wasn't out the door to place orders before they closed and the dining room had maybe 6 people in it. There were about 6 to go bags on the shelf along with mine. When I mentioned to the cashier that I was surprised it wasn't busier, she said it'll be busier tomorrow. I said the day after St Pat's? No answer. Another not good sign in my mind. When I got home, the wrapped sandwich was bigger than my hand but not very tall. The paper had areas of grease which is a good sign for this sandwich. The corned beef itself was tender but there wasn't as much of it, maybe an inch high and 1/3 of the bread had no corned beef. I also could not taste the thousand island dressing. The rye bread was toasted but pretty soggy. The crust was mostly crunchy. The bread slices were paired upside down putting a narrower side a larger side against each other. There is not enough sauerkraut and it is not very sour. I was given the choice of a dill or garlic pickle but I cannot tell you how it was because they didn't put it in the bag. I expected this sandwich to have so much meat in it, I could eat for multiple days for $18. Again, disappointed. Maybe I should've gotten the deli sized version but paying that much for a sandwich... The inside of the deli is fun and it's obvious it's been around a long time and has been well loved. I wanted to like Katzinger's but since the price and the quality don't match, I cannot.
