The food is served not as a source of revenue, but to help the students learn how to produce food in a learning environment, simulating the same experience they would get in a restaurant. I have been apart of the program for two years and just wanted to shout out the program as it seems to be a very well kept secret. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. But by far, the single main draw is the staff. Outstanding customer service professionals from the store manager to the Supervisors and from the head clerk to the grocery clerks and baggers.
