They were ok. Didn't blow me away in terms of the drinks we ordered and coffee, and they were a solid OK. It's nice to have it in town and support something more Humboldt and local than a global conglomerate. We didn't experience the staff issues some previous reviews mentioned. We also didn't get food where some others may have commented. The drinks were A-OK, and Yelp used to say OK was 3 stars. So I'll give it that. My daughter got the biscuits and gravy, said they were "atrocious". My son got a cinnamon roll. He took a couple bites and said it wasn't good. All locations stopped carrying the sweet oregon chai. They were one of the only places in Humboldt still serving sweet chai.

Chai latte was basically chai/cinnamon flavored water Veggie burrito was labeled as "no meat" even on the wraper but there was bacon bits inside. Sadly took me about 5 bites before I realized. it was also super dry and we got hot sauce with it but that just made it spicy and dry sadly. I really like shots they have a great ambiance and the espresso is always really good; I think when you take the risk of hiring high schoolers you run into potential behavioral problems. The customer service person, seemed like she was maybe 16, unsure, didn't pay me much mind and when a customer came through the drive through that she recognized she goes "she knows I hate that bitch" or something along the like. I'm not one to really care about foul language but I also think sometime lessons can be hard to learn or habits can be hard to break. First timer... I have yet to check out the inside and their savory and sweet menu. My experience in the drive through felt easy and fast. I ordered 4 gift cards and a mango drink. Sadly the mango smoothie was so sugary. I wish there was an option to add a banana and make it less sugary. I will ask next time. The employee just asked if I wanted whip cream. I pulled up to pay and I could tell they were busy because the employee took my card and in the mean time was taking a drive through order. I was done paying with my card when I asked if I could have a stamp card. The staff was kind enough to give me two stamps. One star down because I have yet to experience their indoor area along with their savor food. But also the star down was because the drink was so sweet it gave me a headache. Got food poisoning. Not great. No its not the coffee working its magic on my guts. 12:00 ish i came in with my fiancè and got two bagels with spreads. Went to school as usual, here i am 5 hours later writing this. Had to leave early because my stomach hurt so bad and my fiance said they felt the same as we were leaving the school. Got home and been in and out of the bathroom ever since, it's 6:25. If it was the coffee that did it, i would be surprised considering I've had my coffee the same way everyday for the past 5 years and never once did i deal with this. The reviews about not being sanitary are 100% correct and this shop should be skipped.
