I…read moreread all the reviews for shops in the area near my workplace and decided that Berkley Collision looked like the best bet. I took in the estimate that the insurance company gave me. Dave came out and and looked at the damage. He tried very hard to give me an estimate that was less than the insurance company's, and he was dismayed that it was only $50 less. But, as he explained, since it's a new car, he didn't want to skimp on parts, and I agreed. When I originally asked how long it would take for the repair, he told me it would be about 3 days, once the parts came in. That was perfect, as it was at a time when I was leaving town & wouldn't need it anyhow. When I took it in on a Thursday morning, Dave at first said that it would now be a week, but while we were on our way home, he called at around 4:15 on Monday afternoon to say it was done. I was so pleased to see that the car looked brand new again -- no more crumpled tire rim or front area. And I believe they cleaned the inside of the car as well, as it smelled fresh and some of the papers I had were in a different place. Add me to the list of people who say that Berkley Collision does good work. I hope I never need their services again, but I will certainly recommend them!

Folks there always nice, Gary grew up in a neighborhood on the east side of Detroit (like me) so it's like "can you top this story from back in the day"? We had his car towed to CC since they were the nearest body shop. From the first conversation about the accident and insurance claim process, these guys were great.
