I enjoy mala but this definitely felt much less balanced than what we had here previously. Besides the mala being a little overpowering, our other dishes and drinks came out great and we were satisfied with our meal.

The staff were friendly but there was a slight language barrier. We fumbled through the menu and found some bites to try. Food came out relatively quick, and that was a bit to manage because there were a lot of plates brought rather quickly. We got pics and dug in. The bites were flavored well. Nothing felt too greasy or under seasoned. The white pepper chicken was very crispy. But not a lot of chicken on each bite. The sweet and sour soup was both sweet and sour, but balanced enough that you could keep on eating it. The dumplings were fresh noodles and the filling was spiced well. The fried rice came out sloppily cooked -- it honestly still tasted like plain white rice, with none of the wok flavor that used to make it worth ordering. And the General Tso's didn't taste fresh the way it always had; it came across as sitting rather than made to order. I'm writing this as a longtime customer, not a one-off complaint. We've spent a lot of money here over the better part of a decade because the food earned it. I'm hoping this is a temporary dip -- a kitchen change, a busy stretch, something fixable -- and that the quality comes back to what it was. We'd love to keep ordering.
