The…read moreplace has an interesting cozy feel with dark, low lighting and church pews as booth seats. Fun. The menu is pretty big for a bar, a mix of regular bar food and a bunch of other options. Our waitress was really friendly and told me the French onion soup is one of their popular items, so that got me excited. It came out fast and it was pretty good. The croutons were honestly my favorite part, super seasoned and actually had flavor. This was only my second time having French onion soup though and I'm still on the fence... it felt like it was missing something, or maybe I just don't get the hype yet lol My friend got the chicken broccoli alfredo and I got the cajun chicken linguine. The portions are HUGE, like you're definitely not leaving hungry. She said hers didn't have much flavor even after adding salt and pepper and was already planning how she was going to fix it at home. My chicken was a little burnt so it was dry and kind of messed with the flavor, but the pasta itself was good. I loved that they added a little bread to soak up the sauce. The huge portions made up for the bland flavors. Not even gonna lie, a few bites in my stomach said "absolutely not" which is no fault of theirs, 100% on me for going all in on dairy, so my friend ended up taking both meals home. Overall I'd recommend it if you like a bar vibe, big portions, and solid food. 8.3/10

For me, I like my wings crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, well cooked. The wings I had here were excellent. But all the flavor was in the sauce, whereas some people like dry rubs or smoked wings. The restaurant is old and and is not modern in any way. The lighting is a little on the dark side. The service was OK, not fantastic. Would go again, and they deserve 4 stars.

The wings are perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and live up to every bit of the hype. Make sure to order the shoestring fries alongside them. They're the perfect complement and complete the meal. The combination is hard to beat. I've eaten wings all over the country, and Bar Bill still sits at the top of my list. My only complaint is that they aren't located in the Metro New York area. If they were, I'd probably be there every week. If you're anywhere near Bar Bill, do yourself a favor and stop in. It's absolutely worth the trip.

You will often see a line waiting to get in before the location opens and the line rarely dies down, especially during the weekend. Sometimes bar seating is a little quicker, but not always. The star here are the wings and the beef on weck. You can't go wrong with either of them. Wings are nicely sized and cooked to perfection. Their beef on weck is packed with meat but the bun is perfectly salted and doesn't get soggy. Servers are efficient and friendly. And plenty of drink options, alcoholic and not to pair perfectly with your other Buffalo delacies. Do yourself a favor and make sure you give Bar Bill a try.

Holy cow that was a lot of food. We were certainly full and the meal was great. The bread was soft w caraway seeds, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The wings were in the buffalo dry rub w mild sauce - we had a plane to catch so nothing too spicy. The wings did have a lot of flavor, not hot but a bit warm. And there was a good crunch to the outside. The interior was all dark wood, motorcycles, and license plates. It added to the ambience of a dive bar w great food. We will definitely go back!

Instead, the place felt more like a cavernous tourist stop than the legendary wing destination I had imagined. The wings were good, but not great. We ordered them dry so we could try several sauces. The wings were cooked perfectly. The sauces, however, were underwhelming. We tried the garlic parmesan, the original, and the extreme heat sauce, which I believe used to be was called "Suicidal." They all seemed to rely almost entirely on cayenne and butter, with limited complexity and less heat than expected. Maybe I've been spoiled by other wing spots with more creative sauces and better blue cheese and ranch, but these just didn't stand out. That said, the service was great, and I appreciated the staff. I'm glad I went for the history, but based on the food alone, it didn't live up to the hype. I will not go back.

It made her so upset, we had to cancel our order worried the pizza would be spit on. Based on the quality of the employee, this was 100% a legitimate concern. The whole interaction was rude and disrespectful. Absolutely reprehensible and vile interaction. Low class. We live in WNY...there are PLENTY of options for amazing pizza. If you experience something like this it taints it forever. If you want to order pizza the way you like it and like having a good experience, GO ELSEWHERE. NOTE: The manager or owner, some kinder woman answered the phone when I called to cancel our order and she was very apologetic...But the experience was jarring and no corrective action was taken to make a wrong right. What Maria's needs is a close evaluation of how their employees are treating people.
