Great place to eat steak and watch football!!! Great food but expensive. At the Sheraton hotel is located in the Sheraton hotel.

    French 75 and old-fashioned - absolutely delicious

Tucked away inside the hotel, Shula's feels like a well-kept secret--usually discovered by convention goers, but worth seeking out. We've dined here a few times, and every visit impresses with spectacular food, welcoming ambiance, and genuinely friendly service. On our latest trip, we grabbed seats at the bar for a drink, Caesar salad and, of course, the cheesecake. We always go back for it. Not exaggerating--it's hands down the best cheesecake you'll ever eat.

High end steak house located in the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk Great service, intimate quiet atmosphete. High priced, though it is high quality ingredients and preoaration (7oz filet $64) What I ate: Shula's House Salad: Mixed Greens, Tomato, Parmesan, Bacon, Carrots, Grated Egg, Herb Ranch 7oz Filet with blue cheese crust Creme BruleVanilla Crème Brûlée: Vanilla Sugar, Chantilly Cream, Fresh Berries My rating rationale +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +.5 Value (value is tough because this is a very pricey dining spot)

Located inside Sheraton Grand. Convenient and was seated immediately for dinner with an unexpected very late arrival to hotel. Chill modern steakhouse ambiance. Attentive service. Nicely "Fried Calamari". Good was my lightly seasoned medium rare "Cowboy Ribeye". Hard to cut were their "Roasted Brussel Sprouts". Expensive as expected, and I have no problem coming back to this steakhouse again if I was under the same conditions as of this visit. Cheers!

    Cowboy ribeye seared to perfection!

Great experience at Shulas for a work dinner. Made reservations, arrived on time and sat right down. Ordered the cowboy ribeye that came out cooked perfectly. Tried the house salad, bread service and asparagus as well and all were good. Interesting house ranch on the salad, had a bit of vinegar in it, was good! The restaurant is located in the Sheraton and has nice street views of Columbus. Would go again!

Omg. That Mother's Day Buffet was to die for. I mean... unlimited crab legs? Yes... please. And unlimited Mamosas! Score. Besides the typical brunch options, they also had an omelett station, prime rib station, and all the pastries & fruit you can eat. My husband made his own French toast, and my child feasted in a ton of bread & fruit. Service was great, the food was delicious. We were able to make our own bouquet of flowers as a generous gift.

    They make an excellent Negroni

Delicious steaks and a great drink menu. We were seated immediately and our waitstaff were very attentive throughout our visit. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, and the appetizers and side dishes were also excellent. Really great experience here.

Outstanding carrot cake. Best I ever had!!!

Contrary to current trends, Yelp.com is the very best platform to post both positive and negative reviews of establishments. Both Facebook and Google reviews are geared towards protecting the business and limit legitimate adverse reviews by burying them in a sea of sugar coated fluff or removing them without warning. For my birthday, three of my friends took me here for dinner and it was an extraordinary experience. I had the massive cowboy ribeye at $78 and it was delicious and cooked to perfection, the way I love it, medium rare. My friends had the rack of lamb and vegan options. I was presented with a side of carrot cake for my birthday. Service was impeccable, yet not overbearing. Marvelously spacious and richly appointed interior. I would definitely entertain returning sometime soon. I had a wonderful birthday surprise and I will most highly recommend Schula's Steakhouse to others. Bon Appetit!

This steakhouse is empty for reason reason.

This restaurant gets two stars because our service waiter was kind and accommodating. The first clue was, there were only two people dining at a restaurant that's in such a beautiful area, sitting on the Riverwalk and attached to a hotel. The Food is over priced and tasteless. Nothing was fresh. The silverware had water stains. There are so many more better steakhouses in Chicago. Shula's need to do better .

Dark, classic, exposed brick, beautiful chandeliers, an incredible bar, perfect lighting, every detail of the atmosphere was spot on. This place is a perfect 10 when it comes to ambience. This was a HARD reservation to get, and I worked at it for quite a while. Let me tell you...it was worth every bit of the effort! We had an awesome table with a view of the kitchen staff hard at work, which made the experience even better. We started with the warm homemade sourdough bread and their special butter. OMG. Do not skip this! It is an absolute must-order and was the perfect start to the evening. From there, everything that hit our table was delicious. The steaks were easily some of the best our party of four had ever eaten perfectly prepared and absolutely outstanding. My wife ordered the salmon and loved it. The mac and cheese was incredible, and the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were all top notch. There honestly wasn't a weak dish on the table. The cocktails were excellent too, with a very healthy pour always appreciated! But what really made Bavette's special was the entire experience. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the service, our table...everything came together for one incredible evening. We've had a lot of great meals over the years, but this one will stick with me for a long time. It was my birthday dinner, and I can easily say it was the best birthday meal I've ever had. Bavette's isn't just a great steakhouse it's an experience. An unforgettable night and a true 10/10. I absolutely cannot wait to come back.

Highly recommend getting a reservation since this place gets very busy (super easy to reserve, we used OpenTable) The service amazing, our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. I love how they show you the different cuts of the meat before ordering so you know what you are getting. The food...according to my husband "this has to be one of the best ribeyes I have had". The steaks were cooked to perfection, seasoned just the right amount and not dry. The sides are a la carte and our waitress let us know that we can order some of the sides as "smalls" since it was just the two of us (thank goodness, otherwise that would've been a lot of food). Although we were full from our meal I know we had to try one of their cakes since I heard the portions are huge and delicious. The chocolate mousse cake did not disappoint. The chocolate was not overly rich or sweet the cookie crumble bottom balanced the mousse out. For dessert, got the crème brûlée which the sever recommended to share thankfully with as large as it was.

Our main server, Billy, and his team could not have been better; available when you needed them and out of the way when you didn't. When my wife mentioned to one of the team, she wanted wine with our entree, Billy was there 10 seconds later with two reds for her to taste. The focaccia with beef tallow was suggested by everyone, we thought it was nice, but nothing special. We split the beef cheeks for another appetizer and it was spectacular. We also split a Ceasar salad that was good. Both of us ordered the rib eye and a side of whipped potatoes. Both were phenomenal. Nice touch with offering the option for the kitchen to slice it for you. At this point, we were pretty full and got lemon sorbet (not too sour, not too sweet) crème brûlée gelato (good) and because it was our 39th anniversary, he brought us an "Italian donut " (sugar donut with vanilla ice cream) that was great. I noticed another table getting the biscoff cheese cake, and carrot cake. They looked great and were HUGE. Coffee came a little late but that's being picky. Complimentary lemon cello ended the evening with a nice touch. My wife said the service and food made this a wonderful experience and a memorable anniversary. I agree. The atmosphere is dark but romantic and the noise level isn't bad. I do have a HUGE COMPLAINT!! My wife's idiot husband (me) left the doggie bag with a good amount of steak and whipped potatoes on the table. We look forward to coming back with family and friends.

Being from New Orleans, I personally like my Bloody Mary a little spicier and with a little more of that NOLA kick, but this was still a really good option and a fun Korean twist on a classic brunch drink. The food was excellent and gave us plenty of variety. The Korean tray was a great choice, along with the bibimbap and avocado toast. Everything came together really well, and there was enough variety that everyone could find something they enjoyed. Overall, it was a great brunch experience with good food, interesting drinks, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different from the typical Chicago brunch. We were looking forward to the Korean donuts unfortunately they sell out early sometimes so if that's something you're getting for For, you might want to get there earlier in the day. Unfortunately, the service definitely missed the mark this time around. Things started off promising. We received a complimentary drink and appetizer, which was a nice touch. My steak frites were delicious, the mushrooms were THE BOMB, and we also tried the mac and cheese, asparagus, Brussels sprouts and au gratin potatoes. There were some solid dishes, although my fries arrived cold. And those oysters... whew. They were some of the smallest oysters I've ever seen in my life. My cocktail wasn't anything memorable either. Ironically, the complimentary drink was much better. The biggest issue was the service. As dinner went on, our waiter's attention to our table slowly disappeared. By the end of the meal, he had basically entered witness protection. We weren't offered another round of drinks, dessert or even asked if there was anything else we needed. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we asked if they could bring something out for our friend. We were told they don't do that. No problem. We weren't expecting anything free and would have been perfectly fine purchasing a dessert. The issue was that dessert was never offered at all. What made it even more confusing was seeing a slice of cake with candles being brought to a table right next to us as we were walking in. At that point, we were ready to go. We sat there for a while and our waiter never came back to check on us. The first time he acknowledged us again was when he noticed we were leaving and mentioned the bill. By then, the bill had already been taken care of. And that's really what disappointed me. It wasn't about getting a free birthday dessert. It was about the inconsistency in the experience. If I'm spending my money at a restaurant, I expect to receive the same level of hospitality and attention as everyone else in the room. There was good food, but the service overshadowed it. Since I've been here before, I know Maple & Ash can do better. Hopefully this was just an off night because I'd hate for this to become the norm. Parking is valet or street parking.
