I am going with a low 5 stars here. The first time we ate here was awesome. The female bartender was super sweet. My Old Fashioned was really made well. It is a very cozy bar. We ate in the main dining room and Brandon was our server. He is just so good at his job. He came around just when we needed something. He has the sort of aura or vibes or whatever you want to call it, that really made for an exceptional experience. He truly wanted us to enjoy our meals. The hostess said she was seating us with someone good and I could not agree more!! So, I was going to order a little differently going in to Shula's. But then I saw their promotion and I was already ordering filet mignon. Why not get all this other stuff with it? The bread was good. The filet mignon, of course, was the star of the show. This is truly the best filet mignon I have ever had. I remember going to Shula's when they were in Miami Lakes and loved it too. Mashed potatoes are okay. I probably should have upgraded to the au gratin potatoes. The French onion was good but not the best. The raspberry cheesecake was pretty good. We went back the next day for lunch and had a different server. She had a different kind of personality I did not appreciate. Beyond that, the burgers were okay. I was going to order a steak salad but figured a burger and fry would be better. Some fries were undercooked but I was getting full anyway. Their burgers are huge!! I appreciate how the manager remembered us from the night before and even said hello to me when I was sitting in the lobby of the hotel where I was staying. He is really nice. I highly suggest the filet mignon. If you like this cut of meat, it is phenomenal. read more

During our stay at Hilton Naples we dined with Shula's three times. To rate each experience: Dinner - 5 stars Room service - 4 stars Breakfast - 4.5 stars The dinner menu had a lot to offer gluten-free folks, some items with slight mods. Our server was excellent. We started with a bottle of wine and French Onion Soup (no crouton). Main courses were filet mignon with mashed potatoes, broccolini, mushrooms and onions. Crème brûlée for dessert. Every bite of everything was absolute bliss. We stuffed ourselves with no regrets. For room service we ordered a cheeseburger and steak tip sandwich both on gluten-free bread with steak fries. Delicious flavors were there but it was delivered lukewarm. Breakfast menu offered my favorite hard-to-find breakfasty side: turkey bacon!! Prepared half crispy just the way I love it. My daughter and I ate here twice. One of the times was with a friend of mine. We started off with happy hour drinks at the bar. I really enjoyed my margarita. The lady bartender was very nice and accommodating. It gets busy at the bar so I suggest arriving when happy hour starts at 3pm. My first experience was better than the second. I had 1/2 of a house/market salad filet mignon with whipped mashed potatoes and a slice of raspberry cheesecake. I enjoyed the steak. The mashed potatoes were good although on the plainer side. I was not impressed with the salad. It was pretty standard. I loved the creamy, raspberry cheesecake. Brandon was our server and he was phenomenal. The second time we are there we each ordered a different burger. It was OK. The fries were undercooked. After about 15 minutes, our server did not bring over bread after we requested it. The manager recognized us from the night before and he had someone else bring it over. He was very pleasant. The burger and fries is an excellent value. It is very filling. I ended up switching burgers with my daughter because I did not like my burger. So I ate the Umami burger. She thought they were both acceptable so she did. The environment here is a traditional steakhouse. They had some wonderful singers on Friday night. read more

We were glad this was our restaurant option while staying at the hotel, which made it easier to just walk down to have dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by the bartender. He was friendly and attentive. Since we were not very hungry, we just had appetizers and drinks before calling it a night. We ordered the calamari and crab cake, with were delish, fresh and made to order. This is a good option for sure, keep in mind that it would be pricey but worth it. read more

This is not a place for supper, this is a place to dine. The atmosphere was amazing. Piano player, nice facility and great customer service. The fresh french bread and sea salt butter for the table was delicious. I had the French onion soup, one of the best I've had in a while, and wife ordered the market salad. She was very satisfied with that choice. We then split the NY Steak. It was so well prepared. Our side was a shared baked potato with the works. Also very tasty. Although very full we did also get the Apple Strudel dessert. Not a real strudel, more like an elevated mini apple pie. Wife loved it.. not my favorite due to too much nutmeg but I wasn't disappointed. I'll also give 2 thumbs up for our server JoEllen. read more

What a wonderful bar, restaurant and atmosphere!!! I'm new to Naples and my husband and I went for steaks one night and they were both FANTASTIC!!! It's the bartender Nate that makes the entire place!!! I'm new here and still making friends....it's one of the few places I feel comfortable going alone and sitting at the bar when my husband is out of town. Nate is so funny and sweet...I even know about his white cat he named Sour Cream! Haha. The food is awesome and I always meet the nicest people! I think I'm becoming a regular! I have been going to Shula's for over twenty years, and this last visit was by far the worst experience I have ever had there. We have never dealt with anything like this before, and I can confidently say it will not happen again because we will not be returning. While the food itself seemed fine at first, the severe stomach pains and indigestion afterward kept me awake all night. On top of that, the restaurant has clearly become overcrowded and crammed since they added more tables, completely ruining the atmosphere and comfort that made us come back for so many years. To make matters worse, while I was trying to eat, the person at the table next to us was repeatedly scratching his head and getting dandruff all over the area near my food. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable in such an expensive restaurant. The service was good, and I do want to acknowledge that, but good service alone cannot make up for such an awful overall experience. It's a shame when restaurants put greed over customer service. read more

My husband and I came here as an early anniversary dinner to celebrate our first year of marriage. The low lighting and rich wood panels give off the quintessential steakhouse vibe. My husband often measures the quality of a restaurant by the attentiveness of the staff and if his water glass ever sits empty. Our waitress did a fabulous job of checking in but giving us time to talk and making sure that our glasses were always full. First off as soon as we walk in, we are greeted by a wonderful host with a smile on her face!! The manager Justin who is incredibly charming in a respectful way, brought us to our seats!! Super friendly down to earth, and took care of us from beginning to end!! My mother who just turned 65 was very pleased by our Server Nate who was so funny he brought us birthday vibes desserts confetti the whole shebang!!! We are so going back!!! And we can't wait!!! Everything on the menu looks delicious!! My wedge salad was to die for that tomato bacon jam i mean hellooo i want it on everything!!! My mom's Chicken Marsalla was excellent!! We stayed at the Hilton and having Shula's right downstairs was amazing. We tried breakfast (steak & eggs), lunch (crab cake + ahi tuna salad), and dinner (lobster bisque + crab cake + antarctic salmon). Everything tasted amazing, I have absolutely amazing. Our server Ramona was sweet and funny, and the manager Tonya was very polite and continually checked in to make sure everything was good. The ambience is great, everything is nicely decorated and the environment was welcoming. It is on the pricier side, but worth it considering it is a higher-end hotel and the food + service was great! Definitely a must-try when in Naples. read more

My husband and I came here for lunch on our anniversary. The restaurant was pretty empty and the staff greeted us as soon as we came in and gave us our choice of tables. (They had a table all set for us in the bar area that had a "Happy Anniversary " sign, and some little red hearts decorating the table.). We chose that table. The bar overall is very beautiful with shelf after shelf of all kinds of bottles. They also have photographs and football memorabilia all around from the early days of the Miami Dolphins. (Which we loved, being Miami Dolphins fans!). Our server, who was also the bartender came over and welcomed us right away. His name was Nate and he was extremely attentive. He made some recommendations and brought us a basket of bread. I have to say the bread was the best part of the meal, it was the most delicious bread I have ever had, very croissant-like. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and my husband just had a soda. For our lunch entrées, I went with Nate's recommendation of the shaved prime rib sandwich. It was really delicious, the meat was so tender and piled high. I opted for the french fries to accompany it and they were just OK. My husband ordered the Shula Burger with cheddar and he had the sweet potato fries as his side. He said the burger was cooked perfectly and the cheddar was melted all around. The sweet potato fries were good but nothing spectacular. We were debating ordering a dessert and the staff brought out a complimentary chocolate cake which we both enjoyed. It was rich and decadent! Overall, we had a great experience with wonderful attention to detail and outstanding food. She lives is probably one of the best steakhouses in Naples. We typically dine there once a week on Saturday nights. The service is impeccable. The food is perfectly cooked every time. I grew up going to Shulas on special occasions and it's always been a restaurant near and dear to my heart. Ambiance: I am a huge dolphins fan and love all the fins memorabilia. Traditional steak house vibe and pants with polo or better is recommended. Food: for appetizer I love the shrimp cocktail as it is served nice and fresh with great sauces. Nothing better than a filet as they are known for their steaks! For sides I go with mushrooms and Mac and cheese. To finish the meal go with the soufflé and you will thank me later. I don't understand some of the poor reviews. I've been a customer here for years and all staff are over the top nice from the moment you walk in the door, through the lobby and into the restaurant. Everyone remembers me and says Welcome Back! The bartenders are very attentive and make great recommendations if I want something different. Nate always remembers my name and my drink. We have had wonderful experiences at the Hilton in Naples, FL and its restaurant, Shula's. My husband says it's his favorite steak and eggs breakfast and it's cooked perfectly every time. We visit twice a year and have noticed continuity between the service staff. For instance, McKenzie and Gio started last year and when we came back this year, they waited on us again. We have always been pleased with the level of service we've received. The bar is fantastic as well.
