I picked up my usual favorite slices: Carrot Cake Slice ($8.49), Tropical Coconut Slice ($8.99), and Old-Fashioned Chocolate Slice ($8.99). They were moist and delicious! Sometimes, the Tropical Coconut can be slightly dry, but it was perfectly moist when I had it this past weekend. They had a really cute May 4th Grogu cake on display and I just think that they not only make delicious cakes, but their cake decorating skills are on point! SusieCakes is worth the splurge!

I just didn't feel greeted with the most excitement by staff. Staff didn't care to know if we enjoyed our dessert, offer stickers to my kid at all. For a single parent with their young toddler, I think its important to make sure all customers enjoyed the dessert and the children have a good experience so that they always remember this place to request us coming back again. Thats just my advice when it comes to customer service for adults and kids. Though, I will try my best to be back for the raspberry vanilla cupcake, bc that did taste really good when I ate it elsewhere. Please keep this seasonal dessert permanently on the menu.

Aren't bakeries supposed to have buttercream? Quite confusing that that customer service was not there either. They used to have 2 locations where one was retail and one was curbside but now it's all combined in their old retail location (the left hand side one as your'e looking at the store front). Inside you can order from a kiosk or with a person and they have the rack right when you walk in where they have their pick up orders. I like ordering online so it's easy and fast to pick up the orders and when you order online that adds to your points as well. I love how they have seasonal flavors but the Vegan Red Velvet is by far my favorite flavor! The only place that does a better Red Velvet (imho) is Nothing Bundt Cakes since they put chocolate chips in their Red Velvet cake. It carried the roll. The hazelnut twist was kind of what you would expect. A twisted pastry but with a hefty amount of hazelnut-chocolate spread thru the layers. We sat in a little nook, where there was a magnetic black board, where there were word tiles you could rearrange in any way. The woman who helped me out on the call was extremely patient and genuinely helpful. She was so friendly and offered accommodations to what I needed as best as she could. I ordered cinnamon roll in advance for pickup and she asked what the occasion was and even offered a little birthday topper. The bakery shop is a bit small but they have quite a few options. They have muffins and cookies for dogs (which my dog ate within seconds), muffins, cinnamon rolls and more. The prices are very reasonable as well. Not too expensive at all. On Saturday's they have a speciality cinnamon roll. And it changes every week. I'll definitely have to come back to try that! Tip: The cinnamon rolls are made with fresh cream cheese so it'll need to refrigerated immediately.
