    53. Pumpkin Curry with chicken and shrimp
    Juls B.

Tucked away from the Main Street love this location! Easy parking in the back. Service was friendly and fast. Food excellent flavors. I'm super sensitive to spice but still the flavors were so good I didn't care. The pumpkin curry was sweet and spicy. Ambiance nice and cozy and family feel.

Not much food around the ski resorts, but we found this place that was good. Service was a bit slow and we had to wait for a good while for tables to be cleared. Everything tasted good, but my absolute favorite was the soup. Super flavorful and warming!

If there's a ski resort, there's always some decent Thai food! Had this place twice now and it's pretty good! But I do have to say service is SOOOO slow for having only 4 tables seated, we had to wave them down every single time and a server never came to check in or refill waters, the service is mainly why I had to deduct stars... sorry :/ So far I've had the hangover noodles, the panang curry and yellow curry, and the Tom yum. Huge Tom yum fan, and this one was pretty good. Not too spicy either. The curries are good, but I wouldn't say there's anything special about them they taste as they're supposed to. As far as the hangover noodles, it has sooooo much potential bc it's so good but where the heck are the noodles?! Both times we ordered bc it's good but it lacks noodles. All to say, the food is still good! I'd still come back bc it's a decent Thai spot in Truckee.

Coconut soup with chicken - yummy!

The food is good, if you come at 6 it's really crowded and it took a while to order and get our food, but other than that we will be back!!

First off, food was excellent. Had all the Thai flavors you would expect from well known Thai restaurants. So I was surprised that Truckee had a gem Siam. Ambiance is nothing fancy, just like a typical mom and pop Asian style vibe, probably trinkets from Thailand. Service was okay, they definitely look like they're trying their best. Panang curry was nice, a little heavy with the coconut milk than I'm use to, but it was a good change. The drunken noodles were my fave, the flavors and noodle hit the spot. Tom yum is definitely not for everyone, it has a nice sourness from probably lemon or lemon grass.

Large menu, great food, especially their Pad See Ew. Fast, friendly service and generous portions. I'll definitely be back!

Good option for Thai food in Truckee. We ordered the Hangover Noodles, spicy chicken. Cozy atmosphere, nice family run business.

Yes, you are paying more than you would at a grocery store - that's the price of convenience and it's a small general store, not a massive chain. However, everything there is high quality and it's saved me so many times from having to go all the way into town for something we needed for dinner. I also can't say enough about the ice cream they have, especially the sherbert! I believe it comes from Gunthers in Sacramento and it is seriously some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Everyone who works there has been friendly and helpful, the store is always clean and well stocked, and I hope it continues to succeed in town. I come in here no less than a few times a week, whether for a drink, ice cream, a to-go sandwich, or grocery items, and have never had an issue. I'm glad they're selling shirts and more merch now too, because it really is a Glenshire staple.

First bonus perk, check in you get a free coffee or a scoop of ice cream. I decided to go for coffee because it's freezing, and 10:30 AM lol. I was greeted as I walked in by Bobby. A genuinely nice personable guy. I showed him the coupon for free coffee, and then we started talking about the market. He said he really enjoyed it here. It is just like one of those old neighborhood markets that I had when I was growing up. Nice deli section, meat section, pretty much all around mom and Pop style grocery store. Really enjoyed my visit here, and want to come back and try the Gunthers ice cream.

My family and I dined here for a total of three meals, so I wanted to break each meal down in this…read morepost. 1. Happy hour: unfortunately, the head chef was out of town and the sous chef was unable to make two of the four items on the happy hour menu. This did limit what my brother could eat since he has medical dietary restrictions that prevent him from being able to eat gluten or dairy. He essentially could have nothing lol. There was a Wagyu slider on the menu and we asked if they could just turn it into a small salad with no dairy and they said yes! Everyone else also ordered the sliders as a happy hour dish and they were very good. The wine price for happy hour was on the pricey side with red wine averaging $15 per glass. I think in the future, I would skip happy hour unless all items are available to order and I'd stick with beer for a more affordable happy hour price. 2. Breakfast: a small group of us enjoyed breakfast together and this was probably my favorite meal. I loved the variety on the menu and service was very good as well. I had the breakfast quesadilla, my fiancé had the breakfast burrito, my dad had the Chilaquiles, and my stepmom had the avocado toast. She did wish that the avocado toast was made with a thicker slice of toast as this just looked like grocery store sliced bread. Outside of that, we all felt like our breakfasts had a great amount of flavor and would definitely recommend coming back. My brother and a few other families also dined here throughout the trip and mentioned their love of the restaurant for breakfast as well. 3. Dinner: our last meal as a family was spent here. Our server from happy hour the day before was our server tonight, so we knew it would be a great experience! She was on top of all our orders, friendly, and accommodating. While most of the food was delicious, several of us mentioned that our vegetables were undercooked and almost tasted raw. Too much crunch and not enough cook. That being said, I highly recommend ordering the bread, the Shishito peppers, and the steak. Those were our favorite bites of the night! Honorable mention goes to the soba noodles and the salmon. If it weren't for those vegetables, I would definitely order the salmon again!
