Beef pho with just tripe but their normal is 3 types of beef. I just love the tripe.

Their pho. I literally could eat it every day. It is flavorful and packed with vegetables and crushed peanuts and cilanto and another minty tasting leaf. Their beef salad. So tender and flavorful. Ask for cabbage and you can make tacos out of it. Their fresh rolls. So fresh you have to wsit for them to put together. Just lots of food to the point I think they need to up their prices. How can one receive so much food for such a reasonable cost?

Side of noodles with sauce

Most AMAZING Christmas dinner for our family! We ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, Beef Pho, Side of noodles with sauce for the littles, Taro Boba, Thai Tea, and the spring rolls. Everything was FRESH and delectable! The portions were larger than expected! And the price was EXTREMELY reasonable. The staff was kind, friendly, and very attentive! Love, love love! We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a well rated restaurant after shopping at Costco. This restaurant is right across the street. This restaurant is just ok. I wouldn't have high expectations if coming here, the food is a mix of Lamb chops and American food, Vietnamese Deep Fried Chicken Wings, Pad Thai, Chinese Wonton soup and Thai food. Quite a mix for a small restaurant.

Delicious food, awesome people and great service. I wish, we had found them sooner. The first time we visited them was a day before we were supposed to leave. The food they served was authentic (thai) and customized to suit our needs (vegan). They noticed a baby with us and got a toddler chair, water cup and cut fruits to keep her busy. The server was welcoming and allowed our baby to play around. It felt like we are visiting a home than a restaurant. We ordered veg gyoza, veg drunken noodles with fried tofu and green curry with tofu. The next day we ordered from the lunch menu: veg delight and spicy fried rice. Everything was great and customized for our liking. One of the better Thai food we had in all of USA. The prices are pocket friendly, the place is clean and warm and they know you are here for catching Aurora. So they guide you where to go and the time you would expect to see the northern lights. Full marks for their hospitality and food. I loved the place and I am sure you will too. Give them a visit while you are in Fairbanks.

I came here a little suspicious of strip mall Thai food in Alaska, but was thoroughly blown away by the portions and the awesome flavors of this food. We ordered the chive dumplings as an app and those were just ok. The pad si ew as a dish was awesome. The highlight being the really fresh slightly chewy noodles. We also ordered the green curry. This was some of the best curry I've ever had. Spicy and complex flavors that tasted so fresh. I absolutely have to go back to this small Thai place in Fairbanks.

This wasnt out first choice, but the places we wanted to go is closed for christmas eve. This turned out better than expected! Big portion sizes and full of flavors! Very authentic and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the seafood soup, plenty of seafoods and love the mushrooms!

Great mama-san place in the Fairbanks area. I got the pad see ew and it was good! It was very surprising for Fairbanks. I hope the residents know they are lucky to have such a gem.

Excellent Thai food at this unassuming location in Fairbanks. Decor isn't special, but our red and green. Heroes were fantastic.

Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. :) Service: Food took a bit to arrive but considering how busy they are, it is understandable. Very good service by our hosts who patiently responded to our queries on shellfish allergies and spice levels. Thank you so much Koi, Bambi and team! :) Ambience: Nice decor with musical instruments, interesting paintings that remind you of Thailand and they have paid good attention to details on their tables, mats and the menu. Casual chatty vibes too. All good. Restrooms: Clean and well maintained. Parking: No issues at all. Plenty available!

Ordered Pad See Ew with Beef, Gaeng Pa-Nang with Halibut, and Pad Plick Khing with Halibut. Although I thought this was very good, I didn't think it was better than the other Thai restaurant that I had been to earlier in the week. Food was just missing that little something that would make it truly elite. I will give credit to the Mango Sticky Rice though, that was great. Staff here were really friendly. Took care of our orders quickly because we got here right before the kitchen was about to close. Also filled our water quite a bit. Lemon Grass is still pretty good, glad I tried it.

The staff in the restaurant were nice and we were able to get seated right away during dinner hours. The decor inside was very simple and casual. We ended up ordering chicken satay and egg rolls as appetizers, which both were decent. For entrees, we ordered pineapple fried rice (which you have to ask them to add pineapple to the fried rice item on the menu), beef massaman curry, tom kha gai soup (one with coconut milk), and drunken noodles with chicken. All the entrees were also pretty decent and flavorful, although I did find most of them to be on the saltier side. The meat in the massaman curry did also taste super soft but almost in a canned meat kind of way. We were also served water but everyone in our group felt like the water tasted weird, almost like there was some kind of cleaning supply or chlorine type after taste. We saw that they put lemons but there were no lemon taste in the water. We were all concerned by the taste and ended up not drinking any of the water (despite the food being salty and we really needed some). Overall, not a bad spot outside of the water situation, but not a spot I'd necessarily recommend given the price of dishes and value.

It's pretty empty during the weekday lunch time. Food was good. I got the beef pad see ew and…read moreshrimp tom yum soup. They are both pretty good. I like the pad see ew noodles particularly. They put a lot of beef, but the beef is a little on the chewy side. The tom yum is a bit salty for me. It would be better to eat with rice instead of drinking the soup on its own.

Ordered the Halibut Egg Rolls, Panang Curry with Halibut (which is not a normal menu item), Chu Chee Pla with Salmon, and Pad See Ew with Beef (which I have to order at every Thai restaurant I go to). I must say, this was up there with some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Not everything you see halibut in egg rolls, but I had to get it. the panang curry was up there with some of the best panang curry I've ever had, and it came with a fairly hefty portion of halibut. Chu chee pla was good, although it tasted a bit similar to the panang curry. Pad see ew was very good, and it was quite a huge portion as well. Staff here were very friendly despite being extremely slammed. There were only two people taking care of the entire restaurant and one cook in the back. Despite all that, the food came out at a fairly reasonable pace. Much kudos to them for working so hard. Really enjoyed my trip to Bahn Thai. I guess there really is elite Thai food up in Fairbanks!

We got the halibut egg rolls, which was freshly fried and a bit more refreshing than a regular one because of the halibut. The ginger fish dish comes with either halibut or salmon. We opted for salmon and it was overcooked but the ginger sauce was very good. Once we broke down the salmon to soak up the sauce, it was tastier to eat. There were 4 small pieces. We also appreciated the loads of vegetables that come with this dish - strange how much we appreciate veggies in AK. We wonder if the traditional Thai dishes are the way to go here, but our meal was still good.

Because we were the first few in the door, our entrees arrived sooner than others who came after. I was disappointed with the Thai iced tea, it lacked tea flavor and was more of condensed, excessively sweetened milk drink. I could only finish 1/2 and poured out the rest . We ordered 3 dishes and the portions were generous such that we had leftovers the next day. 1. Veggie Tom Yum Soup - was OK but I've had others with better flavor and wouldn't order this again. 2. Chicken pad Thai was the best dish of the bunch but it was very skinny rice noodles. It tasted better as next day leftovers after the flavors marinated overnight. 3. Pork green curry was watery and not green but looked more yellow. We had yellow curry at a Thai restaurant days earlier and thought that curry tasted more authentic and wasn't watery. Alone it was kinda bland but with the sauce it was actually very good. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken. Honestly the flavor is very good but it was very unfortunate that the chicken and tofu came out very dry. Had it not been for that I would have given my dish an 8.5/10 but because of it unfortunately I can only give this a 6/10. My buddy got the pad kee ma ( drunken noodles) with chicken and again the chicken was very dry. It was also just kind of a bland flavor. Just a little disappointing. If they maybe added some garlic and a little more sauce I think it would have really elevated the dish. One thing I really like was it seemed like all the sauces were house made which is fantastic. I would still come back here to try some other food. But hopefully they can just get the meat to not be so dry.
