In a way I think the dishes might have tasted better without it although I appreciate the effort to add in some veggies. For the beef noodle soup, the broth and the meat was good and the egg noodle went well with it. My friend ordered the ramen version, and it was literally instant ramen noodles (not worth in my opinion). While you're able to dine in they operate more like a take out spot as all the utensils and boxes are using take out and disposable containers. They wanted to ensure I got exactly what I expected/wanted because every restaurant has a different spin on the classics. The lady informed me that she had no prior orders from me so she wanted to make sure I ordered correctly, then immediately corrected my mistake when I confirmed that I did indeed mean the lo mien. That alone shows the exquisite customer service they offer, but if that's not enough... THE FOOD!!! It was absolutely incredible, everything was cooked, sauced, & seasoned to absolute perfection. It genuinely hit all the right spots & I had to practice self control not to gorge myself. It is truly phenomenal, not to mention it was ready insanely fast!! We placed the order, immediately left our house, & by the time we got there it was ready! It was also MASSIVE portions with an extremely fair price. Lastly, they even included a free box of sugared donuts with our meal as a thank you for ordering from them. This is the kind of food, service, & atmosphere you want in a restaurant. The General Tso Chicken, was just okay. It wasn't to my spice preference but it was cooked good. The fried rice was also just okay. Overall I wouldn't put Panda Garden on my list of go to places if I'm looking for a meal to make me happy dance while eating. Fushimi is special, tucked into a small strip mall with somewhat limited parking. It has a very fun interior, themed almost like any other Japanese steakhouse. The dining experience was great and our waiter was even better. He even chatted with me about my experience in Japan, his experience in the states, and let me practice the very little of the language I still remember from high school (it's been a long while). But the food...if I lived here, I'd be a regular. And quite honestly, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. We ordered a few things, including the salmon teriyaki dinner. It came out sizzling (literally) but was still perfectly cooked. It wasn't dry or super fishy, just absolutely delicious served over a bed of vegetables with a side of steamed rice. We also ordered a few rolls which, for the life of me, I can't remember the name of because I was too busy actually enjoying my food. Overall, a great dining experience and I can't wait to visit again.

Pro Tip: Because it's tucked away inside an office complex style building, it is a bit confusing to locate from the parking lot, but just follow the signs. To their credit, operating a Thai and Vietnamese fusion restaurant in interior Alaska means higher ingredient import costs. Because delicate rice noodles, fresh bean sprouts, and specific herbs like Thai basil or cilantro cannot be grown locally during the harsh sub-zero winters, restaurants have to fly them in or transport them up via the Alaska Highway which explains the higher prices.
