My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday eagle watching trip. They were having a $13 Sunday buffet…read more I'm not usually a buffet fan, but this was really good and I got to try several entrees and salads. They were all great. Fried chicken- crispy and hot. Boneless ribs- great, really good sauce. Vodka Penne- really good, Chicken in lemon and caper sauce- fantastic. Plenty of vegetables on the buffet and a good assortment of deserts. Also $5 Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's. Our waitress was attentive and cleared our plates quickly while we headed back to the buffet for deserts. She kept our drinks filled and asked if we needed anything. The restaurant was full, we had a short wait, without reservations, but pretty much every table was full. Most of the patrons were the "after church" family crowd (assumption on my part). We got the scoop on the owners from 2 elderly women sitting at the table next to us. The had been there many times and were making food suggestions- that's why I opted for the buffet. If you had been to the restaurant when it was The Fin Inn, you'll see they kept the aquariums that line the walls. This time they have more tropical fish- cichlids, goldfish etc. The river fish and snapping turtles are gone (at least in the area I was in). Honestly, I have no idea how they're serving this quality of food for $13. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend.

In addition to their regular menu, DPH always has a Weekly Special Menu. Once I saw what the weekly special pasta was, I had to have it. I am a huge fan of Smoked Salmon and they did theirs in house. The pasta not only had the smoked salmon, it also had sautéed red onion, a tangy European style cream cheese sauce and cavatappi pasta with fried cappers and fresh dill. The cream sauce was perfect. It was just a light covering, enough for flavor without being overwhelming. As always, the portion was healthy, so I had leftovers for the next days lunch. I enjoyed it chilled and it was like eating a cold pasta salad. DPH always gets bonus points from me for having eco-friendly to-go vessels. My adult beverage of choice for the seafood pasta, was a glass of Pinot Gris. I prefer a Grigio, but they only had the Gris. Gris is fairly similar to Grigio. I always say, it's like a first cousin, once removed. Service is always top-notch. It doesn't matter if you are sitting at a table or the bar, you'll be treated right.

Super friendly and very knowledgeable! True to Napoli's style, Service was top notch! Pretzel Bread service to kick things off, served with Spicy Mustard and Spicy Queso, both delicious. I'd have to say the queso was my favorite, but... we'll yeah it's cheese! Hayden let me taste the Sauvignon Blanc on happy hour and while it wasn't unenjoyble, I went with the non-happy hour Reisling for the win, which was delicious! Coastal Hour Crispy Rock Shrimp as an appetizer, which is about 1/2 the dinner size and perfect as a starter or even as a meal with a soup or salad. Really nice breading on the shrimp, not too thick. Good flavor on the sauce, not spicy. For the entree, Louisiana style Halibut with Crawfish and Cajun Sauce, Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. The plate comes out piping hot, please don't touch. I even had to cool off each bite of food. Well balanced flavors, cooked perfectly. No room for dessert, so I settled on the Smores Martini which was an amazing dessert choice. You get all the flavors of a Smores treat in a libation. Truly enjoyed this Thursday eve!

Peacemaker Lobster and Crab was absolutely amazing. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food because…read morethere were so many things on the menu we wanted to try, and somehow, nearly everything we ordered was a hit. We started with Stella on tap, which just felt appropriate while visiting St. Louis, especially after touring the nearby Anheuser-Busch brewery. It was easily one of the freshest Stellas we've ever had. For food, we tried the lobster mac and cheese, lobster bisque with pieces of lobster, a pound of steamed crab legs, fried green tomatoes, and the warm lobster roll. The lobster roll was phenomenal. We shared it, but I honestly could have eaten the entire sandwich myself. The real standout, though, was just how perfectly the seafood was cooked. Both the lobster and crab were juicy, sweet, and tender with just the right amount of chew. Nothing was rubbery or overcooked, but it wasn't soft or mushy either. I genuinely don't think they could have cooked the seafood any better. The fried green tomatoes were also cooked perfectly and something I was excited to try since you don't see them on every menu. Unfortunately, they were a little too spicy for my personal taste, so we didn't finish them, but that's definitely more about my spice tolerance than the quality of the dish. The atmosphere was another plus. It's a really cute setup with great ambiance, and our server was wonderful. We also walked right in without a reservation and had no wait at all, which has honestly been one of our favorite things about eating our way through St. Louis. Coming from California, we're used to having to plan ahead for popular restaurants, sometimes weeks in advance. Here, we've been able to discover some fantastic places without having to plan our entire trip around restaurant reservations. I will say, this was probably the most expensive meal of our trip. The one pound of steamed crab legs was $65 market price, and the lobster roll was $37 market price, so Peacemaker definitely isn't the cheapest place we've eaten. That said, considering the quality of the seafood and how much we enjoyed everything, it was absolutely worth the splurge. From the crab legs to the lobster roll to the bisque and mac and cheese, everything we tried was delicious. Combine that with the atmosphere, great service, and being able to walk right in, and this was easily one of our favorite meals in St. Louis. I'm actually hoping I can convince some of my coworkers from my training class to go back with me before I leave Missouri. I think that probably says everything you need to know about how much I enjoyed it.

The staff were very friendly for our first time. Our server dropped off waters for us right away. It was a seat yourself concept where you order via the QR code, which made ordering easily. We started with caviar deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, both of which we devoured. The green tomatoes are thicker and had a good bite to them! The gator po'boy was good, though on the dryer side. I would have loved more of the sauce on mine. The chips were perfectly crispy crunchy! My partner got the lobster roll and scarfed it down in a few bites. A bit on the pricier side since it's based on the market value, but still delicious. Great location and delicious food, we'll be back!
