The food was pretty good, a lot of flour to meat ratio in my salt and pepper chicken and lots of onions too. The flavor was excellent though. The hot beef chow mein was real excellent and the combo friend rice was okay. The deep cooked potato has good flavor, to me was undercooked and I am not sure if that's how the dish was supposed to be. The place was clean but the tables were a bit sticky, not to bad just a bit. Do not go here for lunch unless you have a lot of time!! It's packed with the tech core bunch getting group lunches. The last two times I've come here for lunch there were many tables empty being saved for groups and no seats were available for some time. Today was standing in line behind another small group for a long time with people stacking up out the door. Almost half the table space was empty and then people just start coming in past us and sitting down. They had saved space for 30 people!! I told others in line where to get just as good Szechuan food nearby and some of us left. The food here needs change. The chef or cooks need to change. I don't know what the root issue is, but the cuisine served here is not good. Came here for a team lunch and as the chinese person on the team i assumed the role of lunch dictator and did all the ordering. I think i went for about a dish per person but we could've ordered more. Pretty empty on a weekday lunch and they were great with service. This is probably one of the best places I've ever had shrimp fried rice. It's my go to order and it always hits. The rice is fluffy. The shrimp is good. There's no tails on the shrimp which is a mess for me and the staff is friendly. I particularly like the ambience and setting. Places well kept and clean and the staff is friendly too. I typically get my order to go so it's a quick wait when I order inside the restaurant for my shrimp. Fried rice and the staff is absolutely amazing. very nice. For a price of $8.95 to $9.95, you can get a plentiful serving of a meat dish accompanied with either steamed rice or fried rice plus egg drop soup or hot & sour soup. The Twice Cook Pork (回锅肉) was no longer listed on the physical menu but I was still able to order it. The pork was thinly sliced and flavorful. The fried rice was scarce in the mix-ins of egg and vegetables. Complimentary tea is served too. It came with rice and soup. The egg drop soup was super bland and just tasted like corn though and barely any egg in it. The mapo tofu was... disappointing. It had no flavor, just spicy chili oil taste. It was so spicy that I couldn't feel my tongue. It's like they just dumped spice on it. I've seen this place a couple of times any time I visited Marshall's, finally tried it during their lunch time. Food - I got the Mandarin Spicy Chicken, with egg flower soup. The portion was generous. The best thing for me was the texture of the chicken. I know Chinese places usually tenderize the chicken, but this one was just amazing. It had a smooth inner coating to the meat as well. However they make it, I hope they stick to this process. The flavor of the entree was good. I wish the spice level was a bit higher. Perhaps next time I'll ask explicitly to increase the heat. I assumed the "Spicy" in Mandarin Spicy Chicken would constitute it to be spicy be default, but clearly not. The egg flower soup was good as well. The tea was just like any other tea, although I wish it was a bit stronger. It did feel a bit watered down. Price - Prices are very decent. Lunch special prices especially are great, you get an entree, soup, tea, all around 10 bucks. Service - Service is just like any other asian restaurant, in that you get the bare minimum service and check-ins, which is fine. The food came out quite fast. Parking - Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, and also the giant parking lot of Marshall's which it shares with. So after eating at Sichuan Cuisine 5 times now, I can say with confidence that this place is amazing! Not sure what all the other negative reviews are talking about, but the service here is fast and efficient, and the food is consistently delicious! I was able to try a wide range of dishes over the course of the past couple of weeks, and every visit resulted in satisfaction! From their tofu, meat, vegetable, and appetizer dishes - they were all scrumptious. The good thing about this restaurant is that the dishes are not too spicy - being that you can still taste the delicious flavors the dish has to offer. That is one thing I value - consistency, if a restaurant isn't consistent - that just leaves uncertainty every time you visit, and Sichuan Cuisine has been pretty consistent thus far! On average, we would spend about $50 - $75 for dishes between three people (depending on how hungry we were). This a good price if you are looking for variety, and the opportunity to try dishes between friends, I would definitely recommend you come to Sichuan Cuisine and try their delicious dishes! Ordered from this place yesterday, 9/28/25. Good sized portions and was delicious but wasn't prepared for how spicy hot one dish was. Not my usual speed and wished I'd been asked first. Also, got home and...no fortune cookies, no napkins, and no packets of usual condiments with Asian food. I saw a huge bag of the cookies behind the front counter so I think this was just an oversight but you'd think, with all the orders they do each day for take-out, that throwing a couple of them in the bag would be an automatic reflex thing by this time. Great place for sichuanese food! My personal favorite here is the Mongolian tofu. Reasonable price too. I order takeout / doordash from this place a good amount. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious, and generally you don't have to wait for a table. They aren't too crowded (I think many people order takeout from here) so it's nice, as you can stay as long as you want without feeling rushed. read more

We left a ton of leftovers at the table and didn't finish the dishes because they were just plain bad. We get Chinese food most Sundays, and there are plenty of other places that are much better in the area. You're far better off at Dan Gui. read more

Not too shabby. We visited Sichuan Cuisine, as we wanted to check out a restaurant we hadn't been to before, so figured we should give Sichuan Cuisine a shot. I do like spicy food, which is what Sichuanese food is known for, with their chili oil and peppers. Apparently, they existed before their new location. The new location is right off of 148th, next to the new Amazon Go store and across from Fred Meyer. It's definitely in a heavy-trafficked area. The space inside was clean and modern, with many people still dining in an hour before closing on a Friday night. We ordered the Sichuanese boiled fish, the ants on a tree noodles, Knight Zhang's beef and wonton soup. Although Sichuanese food is known for the spice, they can customize your order if you want it more mild, you wuss. Complimentary tea is served before your food. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. The portions were large, but something just seemed off. I was most excited for the Sichuanese boiled fish, which ended up providing four meals. But oddly enough, the flavor seemed bland, even with all the chili oil it's drenched in. Weird, right? Just a dash of salt would do wonders. I also ended up topping it with more chili paste for more spice. The ants on a tree noodles were interesting, in a good way. They were clear noodles in a numbing-like, sour sauce that was unlike something I've had before, but kept wanting more of. The "ants" were the ground pork pieces this dish came with. Knight Zhang's beef was more fatty than it was meat. I'd skip this dish. Wonton soup was basic wonton soup. A side of rice is a la carte/extra. For what Bellevue offers, methinks there are other better spots around for Sichuanese cuisine. The menu was very large though, and perhaps if I came back I'd have better luck. I'm down. read more

We were excited when they moved to the new location and the restaurant is really nice inside. Service is also fast and friendly, parking is plenty outside. Unfortunately, we weren't that impressed with the food, there is just flavor missing. It's spicy yes, that's great, but there needs to be more flavor itself. The cilantro chicken had mostly spicy chili in it, barely any meat and even less cilantro. The kung Pao looked good, but didn't taste of much either, the Dan Dan noodles were probably the best item we had. Either we caught them on an off day or they are very inconsistent, there are so many good and really bad reviews... I guess consistency is needed. read more

We got the Couple's Beef and Hot and Sour soup as appetizers. The Couple's Beef was yummy and spicy and went well with rice. The soup was just ok.
