    Tian Fu Spare Ribs
    Cindy F.

TL;DR: pretty average dishes. You can go elsewhere that serves similar dishes that will provide more bang for your buck. Proportions slightly lacking when comparing to menu price. A bit on the spendy side. Parking: street side, free 2 hour parking with QR code in restaurant. Atmosphere: classical music causally playing in the background. The dining area is strange because it is a corner building to it wraps around the kitchen. Menu: scan QR code at your table. It is an online ordering system where you can see photos of the food and read short descriptions. Service: wait to be seated, you are provided a pitcher for self watering. To order, scan the QR code at the table, add what you want in your cart and then send the order away. A waiter will come over to review your order before it goes to the kitchen. Tian Fu Yummy Spare Ribs: the flavor was good but the meat was a bit dry and it was basically room temperature when served so it was slightly off putting to eat. I'm not a fan of cold pork unless it's specifically a cold cut. Vegetable Delight: A good assortment of blanched vegetables. Crunchy and refreshing but a bit on the salty side so it's a dish on it's own as opposed to be a palate cleanser. West Lake Beef Soup: Very lacking in contents. It was almost all soup and each spoonful barely contained anything besides the broth. I like a hearty West Lake Beef Soup and this definitely wasn't one of them. Photo is very deceiving on the menu -- when it arrived it was mainly clear with wispy strands of egg to make it look like a lot.

Near the Redmond Transit Center. Soft opening, not many people when we got there around 11:30 on a weekday, but as we were leaving, there was a line waiting. I hear during dinner it gets much busier. Easy to get to, but no dedicated parking spaces around. There's some street parking, but you might need to drive around a bit to find an open spot. Some people I hear park in the Park n Ride building. Don't know if that is allowed. Currently soft opening, and they are offering a complimentary 糖醋小排 Sweet and Sour Spareribs for each table. We also ordered 农家香香嘴 Country Stir-Fried with House smoked pig's snout, 酸豆角炒鸡胗Sautéed Chicken Gizzards with Pickled Long Beans, and 鱼香肉丝Sichuan Shredded Pork. The spareribs had a good flavor to it, but most of the pieces were a bit too dry and stringy. The pig snout was surprisingly good, give it a try. The shredded pork was excellent as well. Some might say it is a tad bit sweet, but I think it is a good balance to the other flavor and combined makes for a very savory dish. The chicken gizzards was okay. Probably wouldn't get it again, unless you're really into gizzards. They also seem to be pretty kid friendly. They have special dishes for kids, and also drawing tablets to keep them busy. Overall a good addition to the local food scene. Definitely prefer this location over the Factoria one. Will come back in the near future to try more of their dishes.

Yes another Chinese restaurant in Redmond and I just cannot believe I hadn't noticed this place until today. Dave been in business for about one year. Anyways let's talk about food service and value. First of all, they have so many dishes on their digital menu. It's gonna take a while for you to figure out what to order. Honestly, I don't think I could try everything on their menu as some seems to be pretty exotic. We ordered three different dishes. The server asked the spicy level. She said there were four level. (Mild, normal , very spicy and super spicy). I chose normal. Spicy fish with tofu was pretty good and actually spicy enough even for me who enjoys very spicy food. The fish wasn't overcooked and you was perfect to eat with the rice. The portion was generous enough for two people. The shrimp fried rice was delicious as well. I noticed that these big shrimps weren't overcooked so they had a good texture again. It was a big enough for two people as for the spicy potato. It's an interesting side dish you may want to try, Basically they french fry type potato seasoned with Chinese hot pepper. The service was pretty decent. In terms of value given the portion of the dish I think it's an excellent value. if you like something spicy, I would highly recommend this place.

To be honest, I used to really enjoy their food way before they moved to the new location. There were times where I ordered the salted water duck and just can't stop eating. But there are also times like today, the duck is dry and tasteless, dull looking, skin smushy. I am really wondering these were premade food from somewhere else, say in China. The quality is not there. It is sad, but it looks like it is time to move on. There is a sign for 10% off for dine-in, maybe just focus on quality first.

    Spare rib dry pot

We got the schezuan shredded pork, sizhuan spare rib dry pot, vegetable delight, and schezuan fish boil. The food all came out very fast and were absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very prompt in getting us boxes when it was time to leave, and they package the food for uou. Felt that the level 3 spice level (out of 5) was a little too spicy, might go for a lower spice level next time. Restaurant has lots of windows so the space felt very bright!

Got takeout twice from this place. They are busy every day of the week! The hot and spicy dry pot (vegetarian) is my absolute favorite! We asked for potatoes and that was an additional $2. It was burn my a** spicy. Will definitely go try some of the other items.

Tian Fu is hands-down the best Chinese restaurant in town and my absolute favorite for authentic, flavor-packed Sichuan cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the tantalizing aromas of spices and sauces let you know you're in for a treat. The dan dan noodles are addictively savory, while the fish fragrant eggplant packs the perfect punch of heat and sourness. But the real stars are the dry pot dishes - hearty proteins and veggies cooked tableside in a sizzling blend of mouth-numbing peppercorns and chili oil. Each bite delivers an explosion of bold, complex flavors. Excellent vegetarian options too. Beyond the phenomenal food, the warm service completes the experience. Tian Fu simply can't be beaten for delicious, spirit-tingling Sichuan specialties. Highly recommended!

    Cumin lamb
    Sue Y.

Service here is pretty attentive. The venue is clean and roomy. However, we are not so impressed with the food. Cumin lamb has so much cilantro and onion but so little lamb in it. The veggie dishes are salty. The MSG in those dishes are strong. Price is higher compared to its competitors in the area.

蜀味煎饺 / Pork Potstickers 豆花魚片 / Hot & Spicy Braised Fish with Tofu 虾球炒饭 / Shrimp Fried Rice

The potstickers were life changing. My bf and I had to ask why our mouths were tingling- from the peppercorn of course! The fish and tofu was so yummy. The entrées are family size, a couple could easily share one and have a lot of leftovers - like foodies ;)

Minuscule amount of sauce for Dan Dan noodles

This is the amount of sauce given to me for my Dan Dan noodles. I'm offended. Is this normal? I am a sauce girl but the portions leave much to be desired. Maybe this is only at the Redmond location

Horrible food. Frog dry pot on the menu. It should be named "Chinese chicken nugget with marvel fries". 千万别点田鸡干锅,巨难吃!
    Mei Y.

If you don't like reading review, just read this sentence: Do Not order Frog Dry Pot! I ordered three dishes. The best: fried rice 扬州炒饭. Below average: shredded potato 炒土豆丝. The shredding was very thick and the taste was lacking. The horrible: frog dry pot 田鸡干锅. It's been a while for me to have food so bad. The breading is thick, thick, thick, The frog meat is completely smashed and taste like McDonald's chicken nuggets. Majority of the pot are arm thick potato sticks and I can fill my stomach with only 2 of them. It should be renamed to Chinese chicken nuggets with marvel fries. I started complaining on my neighborhood WeChat while I was still eating. I immediately got many responses confirming the frog dry pot is the worst of all. Some recommended other dishes worth trying but it was too late :(. Ambiance is good until I went to the restroom. For some reason the remodeling stopped in front of the restroom door. Inside was not good.

Service was good, but the duck hot pot we got was very salty and not otherwise flavorful. Just tasted like what you can do with hotpot sauce mix.

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Lean-and-fat marbled pork is wok-fried to render aromatic lard, developing subtle caramelized sweetness. Dried deer antler mushrooms absorb meat gravy to deliver a distinctive springy, woody chewiness unique to this wild fungi. Whole garlic, spring onion and fresh red pepper introduce bright herbal and peppery accents, while restrained dark soy glaze unifies all components into a deeply umami-forward savory masterpiece, ideal pairing for plain steamed rice. Garlic stir-fried you mai cai is fresh and crisp! Savory garlic aroma, natural sweet vegetable taste, a healthy light side dish to go with rice and meat.

Noodle Nine delivers a genuinely authentic dining experience that feels like stepping into a slice…read moreof everyday Asia rather than a polished, commercialized version of it. From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

Lee's Kitchen is located in a business strip close to Microsoft, walking distance from the Overlake Station. There are plenty of places to eat around here and you should eat at those places if you're on a lunch break and need to get back to work because Lee's Kitchen is really on their own schedule. No shits given. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon around lunch time and were the only ones dining in for most of the time we were here. Most of the tables had not been cleared, so they must've had a rush of people before we visited. There's a QR code at the table where you can order and pay for your food. I ordered the braised pork belly with rice and shared the rice noodle roll with shrimp and beef with my friend. He ordered the wonton noodle soup, which took over an hour to get. My meal came out first and then eventually the rice noodle roll dish came. And then half an hour later after sitting there, the server comes by and tells my friend they ran out of bamboo noodles, which is what he requested for his dish. Over half an hour later, he received his food. Was it worth the wait? No. Sadly, I can't recommend Lee's Kitchen especially with how many more fantastic Chinese restaurants there are nearby. Service is lackluster with food that does not impress or would have me visit again. Not for me and it shouldn't be for anyone on a schedule.

Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home.
