It was a long line, but I got to it in a reasonable time. I had anticipated spending at least an hour there. As far as dining, the lack of chairs was understandable given the small size of the establishment. I would have preferred to have sat down and dined, but perhaps I will reconsider next time. However, the food was amazing. The biscuit was fluffy, flavorful, and massive. Big-backed people should come here; you would love it. The vegan patties were amazing, and the fig sauce that came on the fig poppa was perfect. I added an egg to boost the protein content, and it cooked to perfection. The latke hash brown was crunchy and flavorful, and the apple butter complemented it. I will definitely return to this place, and if you haven't already, I strongly suggest you visit Side Piece. They have mushroom gravy! I was craving biscuits and mushroom gravy and saw they have it here. My partner and I decided to go early and I'm glad we did cause there were ppl waiting before they opened. There's clear signs that it's 21+ (looking at you, previous review that's complaining about it) and there's plenty of other signage to help keep things flowing but even more important to keep it fair. This place is small and has very limited seating. So it's only fair to have a policy where you don't sit down until everybody in your party has put their order in. We've been intimidated to visit knowing they sell out super quick and lines can be long. Today we bit the bullet and drove down on this Saturday morning! Well worth it!! The place is so damn cool- die for the 70s decor!! Line wasn't long- the tables were all taken- very small selection of seating. When we arrived just minutes before opening there was already a line at the door. What fun atmosphere. Very 1970's with all the great displays and music. We enjoyed Biscuits with combo gravy, a Loud Pack and a Hot Hitter. Best biscuits ever. Great breakfast or lunch spot around. There's a great balance of carbs and proteins that leaves you satisfied, but never bogged down. I've had four different dishes here. I keep coming back to The Baca! It's the best. Was recommended by some friends to check out this little hole in the wall and my husband and I were so happy to have dropped in! Despite how kind of pricey some of their menu items are and how small the inside of the restaurant is, this place gives off a really cozy, no-place-like-home feeling that allows you a chance to just relax and enjoy your meal. I got the Croque MaDAMN, cold brew coffee and brownie cheesecake while my husband ordered The Sizzurrup and added thick bacon (it was REALLY thick), Horchata, orange juice, and the pineapple upside down cheesecake. Hailey, the owner, took our order and was so nice and patient with us as it was our first time being there. You can tell she's very passionate about her business and really enjoys doing what she does. Also, I love seeing how involved she is at the front of the restaurant and working alongside her employees; personally I believe that when I see this kind of work dynamic that means everyone's striving together to make the business operate smoothly and shows that she cares for her people! Overall, the food was really amazing. I very hit or miss when it comes to eating and enjoying biscuits just because I fear they'll be too dry but the biscuits this place serves are so good (the cheddar bae biscuits are a must have). Both our biscuit sandwiches were incredibly flavorful and filling. I was a little disappointed with the cold brew coffee just because it took constant stirring to get the sugar to dissolve into my coffee (the cold brew is served to where you can pour your own creamer and sugar but the sugar sinks to the bottom), but other wise my cheesecake slice made up for it. I'm not sure how I came across Side Piece Kitchen on Instagram but am glad I did and I wasn't a huge cheesecake fan - until I tried them! They have weekly rotating flavors that are announced on Wednesday but not sold until Thursday through Sunday as well as their staple cheesecake flavors available every week. They do have online ordering as an option but with limited quantities and they sell out fast. As soon as I seen Browned Butter was back and a rotating Cannoli flavor, I quickly went to their website and lucked out - I was able to order both, without having to resort to waking up and being at the store when they opened and before they sold out... I'm not a morning person to do this! The ease of online ordering made it all the better, I was able to choose a pick up time, they sent a message stating my order was ready to give them a call when I arrived and they brought it right out to my car. Neither flavor disappointed... both were fresh, flavorful, creamy and didn't leave a heavy feeling like some cheesecake does. The little cannoli on the top of the Cannoli cheesecake was the perfect little addition to set it apart. The browned butter was amazing as well. Definitely looking forward to trying other flavors! (Note: They also have biscuits and various breakfast sandwiches options, that I have yet to try!) We drove here from Seattle for a little breakfast date and I ordered the the Stoner SOS and my wife had the Hot Hitter! My breakfast was very tasty but perhaps not what I was really in the mood for and the portion was overwhelmingly large.
