Loved the historic park like setting of this local pizza restaurant in the Emerson Cultural Center. Pizza had extra thin crust with heapings of toppings in any combination you choose. I also ordered the Greek Salad and I must say it was the BEST greek salad ever with loads of feta cheese and greek olives. Very festive atmosphere. Great Pizza place! We ordered 3 pizzas, Smoked Salad and Breadsticks. The pizza was the stuffed spinach, the spicy pepperoni, and Roasted Mushroom Pizza. Service was great! They absolutely nailed the crust. Toasted nicely perfectly chewy and crunchy. That's the hardest to get, so way to go! Stuffed pizza was great. No real complaints there. Breadsticks were nicely cooked. The crushed tomato sauce was nice consistency but seriously missing salt as was the breadsticks themselves and the mushroom pizza. The other thing that I feel the spicy pepperoni needed was cheese and it misses the awesome taste of rendered pepperoni (crispy edges) There felt like there was essentially no cheese. The mushroom pizza should have visual pieces of roasted garlic and it just needed more cheese, mushrooms and seasoning. The other thing that really pushed this from a 4 star to a 3 was the ranch that came with the breadsticks. I don't mind you charging for the ranch, but please let people know. Ranch was created by Hidden Valkey and this one tasted more like tzatziki sauce or yogurt-dill. Not bad, but not Ranch. Ranch is America's favorite for a reason. Please use Hidden valley and make with buttermilk and Heavy Duty Mayo! Keep selling your sauce, but change the description and let people know you will be charging when the server is upselling. Smoked Salad was awesome. A little light on dressing for me and a little spicy from the raw garlic, but overall pretty good. I would still return and try some other stuff. read more

Pizza was the best we have had in Bozeman. The crusts were done perfect! Crisp in the outside and chewy in the center! The breadsticks were also awesome! The only complaint I have is they got our order messed up. My friend had ordered a vegan pizza and they served her a regular pizza with bacon bits saying it was the vegan pizza. She felt like she was going to vomit after taking a bite. They fixed the order and remade the pizza but it did put her off a little. My youngest son ordered a lunch calzone, my oldest son had at Little Pepperoni Pizza and my husband and I shared the Tommy Pizza. Every bite was delicious! Locals say that Sidewall's gluten-free pizza is the best in town. My review is specifically for that. I give it a "meh" with a shrug. The crust is spongy like the texture of a breadstick. That seemed...odd. I had the BBQ chicken toppings, and they were good but could have used more chicken. My guest had a meatball pizza. Each slice had 2 meatballs on a cheese pizza. This was such a delight - we ate outside under the lighted tree and had a great time. We had the breadsticks, and the margherita and mushroom pizzas, all of which were great. The service was safe, friendly, and thoughtful - the first mushroom pizza came out a bit burned and the server offered to remake the pizza without us even mentioning it. All staff members were wearing masks throughout. The pizza crust was perfect and the toppings were just right -- not too heavy and not too light. Went there, had one of their pizza, half pepperoni and the other half cheese and it was DELICIOUS. Very loud inside, difficult to hear anyone at your table. Also if you have more than 4 people in your group, this is NOT the place for you. They can't seem to figure out how to seat more than 4 people. They like to say "we're busy that's why you have to wait" but the truth is they are very disorganized and really have poor customer service. A group of us went in at 5:23 the other night and yes it was busy but there were several open tables. The staff said they were saving those tables for a reservation at 6:30. We were told there was a 40 minute wait, this turned into an hour wait and we were still not seated. We watched several dining parties of 2 come and go during our wait. The hostess acted like we were a HUGE inconvenience. We still haven't been texted that a table is ready LOL and it's the next day! Ultimately left after such poor customer service and went to Mackenzie River Pizza on Main Street. Mackenzie River is much more adept at service and making delicious food. Our waitress at Mackenzie River was top notch, friendly and actually wanted us there. We were happy to leave her a HUGE tip. There are so many better places to eat pizza in Bozeman, I suggest you don't waste your time at Sidewall. I am positive they would prefer that you also don't "inconvenience" them by trying to give them business. read more
