Arugula (Large $16 + Chicken that I didn't get) sun dried tomatoes, pepitas, goat cheese, arugula, balsamic vinaigrette
    Tim S.

I have given this place chance after chance after chance! Seriously, probably over a half a dozen times! I live right near it, so I want it to be successful. Typically, the service is absolutely horrible! So this time I called ahead and ordered a Arugula sun dried tomatoes, pepitas, goat cheese, arugula, balsamic vinaigrette Large salad with Chicken. Absolutely pathetic is what I got! First, no chicken and second take a look at what I actually got. Will never go back and I would never recommend this place! It's terrible!

Just left here like 10'mins ago and felt compelled to right a review asap! We were recommended to come here because someone loved their salads. We had such great service from our server Logan, super attentive and helpful. We got the breadstick app and a wedge salad both were very very good. I loved the salad so much. The breadsticks could use a little more seasoning or garlic. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and that had the mini pepperonis on it. Our pizza was delicious! We sat on the patio since they had fans on and it was starting to cool down outside. Loved the atmosphere it's casual and obviously a local favorite. The homemade ice cream and cheesecake (lemon white chocolate) looked and sounded so yummy but we were too full. Their natural sodas were also yum I had the black cherry and the vanilla cream. We can't wait to come back! Thanks Logan

This spot makes a great pizza. The sauce stood out and had a real homemade taste. Crust was golden and held up well to the toppings. Seating was a bit limited but the atmosphere made up for it. One of the better pizza spots I've tried lately.

This is the pic that LURED me to Sidewall and DEMANDED I get a second pizza...this pizza. Best decision EVER.

I ordered two pizzas, because I was going to be driving 4 hours the next morning and this would enable me to NOT have to stop for a meal. I ordered the Roasted Mushroom Pizza at first, and later I also decided to get the Little Pepperoni Pizza. (I literally got this pepperoni pizza because I had first been attracted to this place when I saw a pic of this pizza on this yelp page. I couldn't stop myself...I had to have that pepperoni. Lol The pizzas were OUT OF THIS WORLD good...and there was a flavor on them that was so addicting. Wow. But I have to comment on the service...I think my server's name was Shireen? I believe that's what I saw on my check when it was brought to me. She was phenomenal...asked great questions, wonderful at small talk, had recommendations ready for food and drink, and she really gave me the impression that she cared. She cared that I was there and she cared that the establishment delivered a banner experience. GREAT JOB, Shireen! I'm from CA and I don't get out your way much, but when I do, I'll be stuffing my face with those pizzas again. :-)

Great beer selection, even better pizza. Fun and casual spot to unwind and grab a great meal.

Thank you Sharim for being so friendly and engaging. You are a wonderful server with excellent customer service!!! The spinach artichoke dip was very delicious!! Excellent appetizer (and plentiful too). Thanks for recommending this. This restaurant is located steps from Swamp Rabbit Trail. Will definitely order the pizza next time.

    The meat up stuffed pizza
    Melissa L.

Yes yes yes!!! I'm obsessed with their stuffed pizza and I can't wait to go back! It's loaded with meat and cheese. Their sauce is slightly sweet offering a flavor I've never tasted before but I was craving for more with every bite. We also had the buffalo chicken dip.... Let's just say... my dad literally licked the little pan it came in. The customer service was great! Graham was our server and absolutely made sure we had everything we needed and our drinks stayed full! They have an INCREDIBLE birthday club! Free pizza for your birthday and half birthday! What!!!!

Stopped by Sidewall on our last leg of vacation and it was the perfect meal to end the trip. We were in the mood for some pizza and snacks. Parking can be tricky as they have a small lot, we called ahead and they said we could use the football stadium lot across the street so we did. They have a nice setup inside, some tables, the garage doors open and some picnic tables on the patio. I love the sun so we went outside and started our order with the garlic sticks. They were perfect, big sticks with a tasty marinara for dipping. My wife got a wedge salad which she loved! I got the Little Pepperoni pizza which I could not recommend enough. Tons of pepperoni cups (the best kind), sprinkle of pecorino cheese and a butter onion garlic brushed crust which added a nice touch to an amazing pie. Kudos to our server Logan who was exceptional in going out of his way to be friendly, he let my wife try some local sodas, any flavor even offered one to go. Good vibes and great food at Sidewall.

    The "Meat Up" pizza!!!
    Jimmy F.

The meat up was great but we really miss the potato pizza. We were told they just took it off the menu. Super sad. Overall great experience though and Dylan was top notch. He went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Thanks Dylan.

Our dog loooooves Sidewall Pizza boxes !

Always great food - mainly had the pizzas and live the thin crust , great toppings. One size is nice b/c it's enough for one meal and leftovers for 2 people. Breadsticks and marinara - unbelievable Price is reasonable for the amount of ingredients on pizzas. Only wish it was a little less noisy in the restaurant but we learned to still enjoy it as take outs and their birthday coupons are wonderfully welcome! Thank you Sidelines !

We went on a Sunday morning and the staff was great and quick. For coffee, I tried one of their current specials, a cinnamon bun latte. I loved it. This latte is for someone who likes it sweet. For my lunch, I got the salami goat sandwich. It was creamy and spicy, and the bread had the perfect bounce. My friend ordered the turkey and fig sandwich, and she let me take a bite. I'd be tempted to order that one next time. As a note, they don't do any substitutions on any sandwich. They will let you remove an item, but you cannot swap. I took a lemon pistachio olive oil cake to go. This was the star of the show. It was light, fresh and moist. I would come back for one everytime. Hubs had the meatballs (which the server said they only had two left...a friend nabbed the others) and other friends had the moules (mussels) frites and the braised short rib IIRC. The *.frites were the biggest hits. My filet was perfect, Sharon was raving about her mussels being the best she's had in ages. I had a bite of the meatballs, they were ok but people agreed there are better things on their menu. I love that the frites come with a choice of 3 out of about 10 different custom mayos (aiolis for the fancy-schmancy). I tried the curry, sriracha, and a fruity one I can't remember exactly what it was. I liked the fruity one the best and to my surprise, the curry the least (I usually love curry, but the balance was off). The sriracha mayo was too subtle for me, I slather sriracha mayo on my burgers regularly. I have no class. The frites were fresh cut and I enjoyed them but there were far more than I could eat on my plate, and sadly frites don't keep. They have my favorite super sweet Lindemann's framboise lambic on tap; I've only ever had it in bottles before, so that was a treat. My husband thinks I'm crazy to drink it because it is SO SWEET but I love it. So does Sharon, and clearly we're not alone or they wouldn't waste a tap on it :). It's beer for people who hate beer. (I resemble that remark. Maybe hate is a strong word. But in my 30s I realized I'd rather drink a soda than a beer, except for this one.) Desserts sounded good but we were too stuffed to order any. Next time I come, I may try the mussels, or I might just order that steak again.

It's in a basement that feels like a pleasant dungeon or a 1500's rogue tavern, you know, the kind in the movies where plots to overturn evil rulers are hatched. It is a unique vibe and after your meal, when emerging back onto the brightly lit street, it's akin to stepping out of a secret place and back into the light of day. The beer selection is impressive. This food is Belgian inspired. Hence the name being derived from a mix of Trappist Monks, trap doors, and a hidden underground enclave. Many of the beers have higher alcohol content, listed on the menu, be advised. The specialty is Moules Frites, mussels prepared in various broths and fries double fried in duck fat served with a flight of your choice of flavored mayonnaise such as wasabi, curry, truffle, sriracha, etc. Very good. Reservations are highly recommended. It was a busy Thursday at 6:30pm and the place was literally packed, even the bar. The two of us were seated in a large, dark, alcove booth fitting for six or perhaps even eight. We had a reservation, so the hostess said, "we may as well fill it" since it was that crowded. Being such, it was five minutes before we were noticed and placed our drink orders, another five before our water arrived and we ordered and about 30 minutes later to get our food. In between we were left to ourselves. The service was not negligent, but it was minimal and not really friendly either. It was a busy night, so we will have grace. But the mussels were delicious. We both had the Provincale, a rich, savory, Mediterranean sauce of tomatoes, garlic and white wine. Bourdain says "never order the mussels", in his Kitchen Confidential book, but here you are safe because they are very popular and the main feature. I've probably said this before and it is worth repeating, they need to up their crusty bread game. The broth is so good and the accompanying bread just doesn't lend itself to bringing the dish to another level, but it could were it better bread. This is a solid and must do restaurant experience when visiting Greenville. It arguably should be the "one" restaurant you must visit in town because of its unique ambiance and unique food & beverage.

I was in the mood for some homemade soft-serve ice cream. To our surprise we stumbled upon River Streets Sweets- an homemade candy and ice cream confectionery located in the heart of downtown Greenville. I was in Oh, with the desserts they had ranging from candy, fudge, chocolate covered apples, soft-serve ice cream, popcorn, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels/marshmallows, and so much more. Thankfully my family was there because I would have bought everything-it's a child's dream. At last I got the soft-serve ice cream I was craving all day. Let me tell you, the ice cream, gelato, and sorbet were truly homemade. To my surprise the prices were not as pricey considering they were in downtown Greenville. My family got two scoops in a cup costing $7.95 a single scoop is $4.95. The scoops are a decent size for the price you are paying. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit. They also serve Raspberry Sorbet sugar-free which is nice. My family decided to get Rocky Road and Bear Claw. The ice cream was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. It did not taste artificial like some ice creams in supermarkets. My whole family was pleased with the purchase. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the one member who was mending the ice cream section. She was so kind and energetic, letting my family sample the flavors before purchasing, which a lot of food businesses do not do. In addition, to my surprise, the store was huge, leaving plenty of space to walk around without running into other customers. The store was organized, making it easy to see all the yummy treats. There was no visible dirt or dust, the businesses looked polished. The only downfall would be the parking situation, since they are located in the heart of Greenville parking is limited. I would recommend walking and parking in a free or reduced parking area. The next time I am in downtown Greenville or around the area, I will be stopping by River Streets Sweets to indulge in some of their other sweet treats, such as their fudge and chocolate covered apples. I would recommend checking out River Streets Sweets if you are in the area.
