This business is doing so many good things! Their customer service is dynamite and the food is delicious. These are the same owners as the Donut and Dog so expect great food. You should also expect to pay a slightly higher price to enjoy that food. The fries are my favorite. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They also have a delicious, mild seasoning. You can get them with Parmesan cheese too. I also enjoyed the Maui Wowi burger. So good and so messy! The El Jefe milkshake wasn't my favorite. The flavor was good but because it's made with oat milk ice cream, it came out a bit icy. They take a lot of care to make each presentation amazing. I do want to point out that the second time I was there, their COVID precautions weren't as strong as I'd like to see. At least 3 of their waitstaff was wearing masks under their noses and one just had his around his chin the whole time. Also they have communal condiments and plastic utensils out on every table, plus social distancing doesn't really exist there. This is my 2nd trip to Sids. The 1st time I had one of their burgers. if you are a fan of Wagu, you might like them. For me, I am not a fan. This time, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Its not a true chicken patty. it was just 2 pieces of chicken strips stuffed between 2 buns and called a sandwich. Not real flavor at all. Next up are the fries. I tried both the parm fries and the Loco Fries. The parm fries did have some parm cheese on them, which was good, but that was it. The loco fries were...well, lets say I left all of them in the pale they came in. Very greasy and no flavor at all. Their tag line here at Sids is that we dont do boring. Well, I hate to tell you Sid, but your fries are very boring. The only bright spot here are the shakes. If you like a good shake, you have to come try these shakes, but I dont recommend any of the food. O, and before I forget, there is the noise. The music plays very loud here and the place is not that big. So my advice is that if you have young kids, a baby or babies, or you dont like loud music, you will want to re-think a trip to Sids. its very loud! read more

I have been eager to try this place out ever since I started seeing the IG pics pop up on my feed. I was initially drawn in by the massive burgers, snake river farms beef and crazy looking shakes. I got the boss hog cooked medium rare and had them add an egg to it. On the side I got sweet potato fries and the 420 shake. The burger was unbelievable from presentation to consumption. Meat was cooked perfect, bun was soft and the size was just right. Massive onion rings, pork belly and a sunny side up egg al blended perfectly with the bbq sauce on there. The fries were great. I normally go for hand cut fries but that was not an option and I was surprisingly not disappointed with the sweet waffle fries. I wasn't crazy about the shake. The food was delicious. The hamburger looked great. I have a beef allergy and am not too fond of spicy food, so I ordered bacon and deviled eggs. The bacon is delicious, but the rosemary seems pointless. The eggs...That is always going to be my go-to on the next visit. I have never allowed myself a decadent shake before. Amazing food! I got the "Not So Whimpie" burger and it was incredible. Very good flavor and the fries were so good. My friend ordered the "Hangover" burger and they loved it. We ordered a bucket of fries and they tasted amazing. The fry bucket is pretty big (about enough for 3-4 people) and we're bringing half the bucket home. Incredible meal and we love it! Disclaimer: Waiters, waitresses, and cooks don't wear face masks and seats are pretty close together. When we got to the restaurant, it was pretty packed. If you are strict about social distancing and masks, I suggest you choose another restaurant. My group (3) is pretty strict about masks, but we got a table in a corner not next to many people, therefore it didn't bother us much. We did use masks when getting up from the table. read more

OK...this place was awesome! I love the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks and the food!!! I had the Hangover Burger, my husband had a regular burger with cheese and Applewood bacon. We also ordered the tots which had pork belly and cheese and they were so good. I also got a champagne flight and later found out that they had a sangria in a cool little pouch and got that also. Everything was great. The staff were friendly and fun. It is a very loud place but I was totally fine with that since it was a fun place to be. I can't wait to go back! We stopped in to check out the massive burgers, and I will say they were very tasty. I was disappointed they overcooked mine even tho I did ask for med-rare. The decor is clever and our waitress delightful. Her recommendation for the truffle fries was spot on, and even tho we couldn't finish them, she brought us a box and said they air fry great. 3 stars for what was mentioned as well as having plastic flatware and too loud music for the acoustics. Everything was amazing! Came in for a dinner date with my wife at 4:30 PM Friday. Seated immediately and took in the vibe. Music is a bit loud but it fits with the mood of the restaurant, a rockin' garage with throwbacks I used to listen to in high school and college. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Pretty da*n good! We finally made it in for an early lunch (11:20) and the place was empty but by the time we left 12 it was filling up quickly! Yes, it's a little spendy but you get quality food and great portions which make it worth it. We got the fried eggs and OMG they were amazing!!! The jalapeño mustard sauce that comes on the side is to die for and I even added it onto my burger. The truffle fries came as a huge portion (enough for 2-3 adults) and they were so good. I ate so many of them, I just couldn't stop lol. They were nice as crispy too. We had them surprise us with the burger and so we got the Maui burger. It was really good. The one thing I would say is I think the flavors of the Maui portion kind of conflicted with the burger meat itself. It was kind of 2 different flavors in a burger. Still really yummy though. Probably one of the better burgers in the Treasure Valley. It's not Hodad's- but it's got a similar vibe (cleaner and definitely more Idahoish). Hodad's is the gold standard that we hold highest out of all burgers. The side dishes are huge. Just get the fries and share them if you aren't starving or training to be a competitive eater. Burgers have great quality meat- and fresh buns. Good variety of "fancy" flavors but not so fancy you feel out of place. And the shakes- we didn't even attempt that- cause we were beyond full. I am not a stranger to loud music but it was super ridiculously over the top. When the server has to yell to be heard above the screaming patrons because the music is at an eleven, maybe it's time to turn it down.
