I called Sieg to come to my new house to investigate an odor which I thought might be a dead animal. I found him to be one of the friendliest, most courteous, helpful and honest people I've encountered in a long time. He spent about 20 minutes poking around the house and didn't find any signs indicating that animals of any sort were in the house. He climbed into the crawl spaces (which are creepy and dark), up ladders, etc. And he did all of this for free. If he had really wanted to make some money off of me, he could have told me that there were critters up there and that we needed to pay for his removal services. But he did no such thing. Instead, he told me that things looked fine and that we should be fine without any sort of extermination. The best part was that Sieg was so excited when he found old items in the crawl space that the previous owners had left there. He found a sign that some kids had made, some old suit cases, a pair of ancient sunglasses and an old flag... He was so excited to share all of these finds with me as if he were on a treasure hunt. Here's a new one -- Sieg apologized to me for NOT catching any rats. He visited three or four times, set up traps, blocked entrances, explained what he was doing and why. I was, of course, delighted. My theory is the RN (Rat Network) scented him and hightailed it out of here. First couple visits were fine, even though they weren't really on time. After placing traps everywhere under the house, traps started getting sprung and I called them repeatedly to come check the traps and the dead rat smells, but they refuse to return our calls. I have called their cell and their office numbers. We now have flies everywhere, and dead rat smells all around and in the house. I have disposed of a few myself but there are a few places I would just rather not crawl. Maybe there is not enough money in the return visits so they aren't interested? I called Sieg a few months after moving into my new home. The initial inspection had shown evidence (hello, droppings!) of rats in the crawl space, and I had some foundation vent covers that were damaged and bent to allow furry creatures inside. Sieg came by with one other employee and did a quick check of all my vents and the crawl space. He said that while it seemed clear raccoons and rats had been in the crawl space in the past, he did not sense that they were still there.
