I worked with a Delta representative, and they explained that everything would need to be resubmitted either by the dental office or through a claim filed by me. When I brought this to the office staff's attention, I was not looking for an argument. I was simply trying to point out the issue so they could review it and correct the billing. Unfortunately, the staff became defensive and rude. That experience is what ultimately caused me to lose trust in the office after being a patient there for five years. To be clear, this review is not about the doctor's performance. My concern is strictly with the billing process and the way the office staff handled the situation. A billing mistake can happen, but how it is addressed matters. Patients should feel heard and respected when they bring forward legitimate concerns.
