A friend took us out to a concert at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Event Center. Tickets can be purchased online for upcoming events. It's a large spaciousness event room that's combined with table seating and a center floor for dancing and a standing audience. They offered specialty beers, soda, tea and a selection of wines. We came for bands originally from East LA, Thee Sinseers and a group called, The Altons. It was a phenomenal experience and the atmosphere was high vibing for all ages. I loved my experience and recommend you check it out for their special events and your upcoming events.

The host was such a nice and talkative person. Sat us and chatted us up, the server on the other hand kind of neglected us. She seemed busy but the service wasn't terrible hence the 4/5. Food was so good! Paired well with the beers she recommended. Plus free charging if you're electric soooo why not stop to eat, drink and charge up

Ahi nachoes piled high of goodness

No plans on a fall Saturday. So we drove out to SNB. Elise served us and was very friendly knowledgeable and recommended a tasty beer flight full of my favorite hazy beers. We also ordered the Ahi Nachos. The waitress quickly brought them to our table. The cute couple behind us almost tackled us for them because they were piled high lol. They promised to get them on their next visit. The nachoes were so good. We didn't care for the pickled cucumber but oh well we just layed them aside. Every thing else was loaded with goodness. Even though the restaurant was full and lively with families we chose it sit outside due to the lovely fall weather and nice outdoor patio seating. One small draw back (I love dogs but....) I had to face one large dog snapping at flies as I tried to enjoy my ahi nachoes. The dog owner tried but perhaps her dog could have been chillin comfy by her side and the wall ijs.

The Big Little Thing IPA (Imperial IPA) from Sierra Nevada Brewing.

Steve and I hoped into Sierra Nevada Brewing again. We have had this brewery before... and with it being distributed widely it's hard not to notice. The latest beer that we had up to this point from Sierra Nevada is the Big Little Thing IPA. We haven't had this beer before and it was good. Flavor features with this IPA are hoppiness, strong, smooth, fruity and earthy. I especially liked the smoothness with this beer as more than enough IPA'S don't come off as smooth in their flavor profiles and it's something I've really grown to be fond of with beers.

The brewery tour was more and better than expected. I thought Sierra Nevada was a big company now, but they're conscious of their roots and values. Two separate taprooms, one in the restaurant and one at the tour start/finish and merch shop. Some variant brews not found elsewhere.

    Salmon to-go... disappointing

Traveling from out of town. Ordered the salmon to go... should've just ordered from Applebee's as planned. I thought it would come with mashed potatoes. My fault for misunderstanding the menu.

Great tour offered for only $11. The tour was fun, informative and we were able to see all the love, resourceful ways, and creative ideas the brewery puts into each beer.

Food was over priced and subpar at best. Service was decent but it definitely wasn't worth the price

What a cool place with inside and outside dining and even cornhole! We split some type of massive burger with 2 patties and garlic parm fries. First of all I couldn't even get my mouth around the burger...too big! I cut a small corner off and it was juicy and very tasty! I had a glass of chardonnay and my boyfriend got a glass of El Toro. Plus we bought a big can of El Toro to go ( i think they call it a growler??) Atmosphere is relaxing and they brought a bowl of cold water for my puppy ( i actually carry treats and water with me). They have a nice merch shop attached to the restaurant so I bought my boyfriend a t shirt as well( he put it on right away..lol ) The waitress ( Diedra) was super cool and helpful making it a even more fun experience! Thanks Laura in the merch shop. Both ladies very kind and helpful! Its a great setting in an area that is being built up. A must stop! Great time!

Instead of…read morefollowing the trends, they seem to have figured out the KISS (Keep it simple students) principle and to treat your customer well. Stopped by on way to Chico during a recent visit on a day they were closed. I placed an online order for pickup only to realize when I arrived that the brewery location is closed for much of the week. On me for the error. I've made that mistake previously and dealt with employees who just ignored me and those that chose to acknowledge me that I needed to come back when they were open. The staff here now only acknowledged me, they went the extra mile to alleviate the error. Service was beyond great and they made me feel valued. I visited the Chico taproom/restaurant location and the product matches the service level. I tried one of the infused (peach) beers and it was very well balanced and easy to drink on the hot day. Hard to brew a simple lager that does not have any "off tastes". They seemed to figured out how to do it. Breweries that are struggling can take note from Farmer's. Lots of great beers and instead of trying to become viral with some crazy Quadruple Hazy Hybrid Pastery Barrel Aged Sour concoction, treat your customer well and make a good clean beer and you'll be successful like I think Farmer's will be/continue to be. If you are in the area, worth the visit as you'll see what craft breweries used to be like before it became overly commercialized.
