We recently had our furnace replaced and needed our ducts cleaned. I have an air quality monitor and it was alerting me every time the HVAC turned on, so I thought the ducts were still dirty. My dryer was not drying my clothes well, and the machine had a red symbol flashing...which i found out was that the vents were clogged. Reached out to Jason of SierraVents via yelp, and he was very prompt in his responses. We scheduled a time for him to come and finish the work. He was very communicative and let me know his approximate time of arrival. And yes, my dryer vent was clogged, not just with lint, but a nest (bird or squirrel) as well. Connected through yelp so worth sharing my experience with the community! Ordered duct cleaning (and sanitizing) for a property in SF at end of renovation project, so I was remote. First, Jason the owner tried to charge for the sanitizing that wasn't performed at all (employee texting w me was mistakenly honest about it); Then, when I finally arrived on site noticed key area that wasn't cleaned so asked Jason to wipe when convenient. He called me furious (allegedly offended by my suggestion) telling I did a walkthrough with the person there and confirmed everything was amazing. He forgot I wasn't there at all and paid him thinking it's a reputable company so no big deal. His response made me think he has a routine playbook that if someone has a concern he just attacks saying it was all great evident by getting paid so the customer must be making it up. Air duct/Dryer vent cleaning. Wow this company is great, Came at the arrival window and were done in less than 2 hours. They cleaned our chimney,the dryer vent ,the whole furnace system outside vacuumed each and every floor and ceiling vent in our home. We asked them to sanitize the whole system too as I am Asthmatic. Mark was the guy who did all this and we are very impressed with the professionalism. He picked up all the dust and there was I mess in our home.
