I recently purchased a home with an elevator that was installed in 2004. I reached out to see if the company does elevator service contracts for our model. The first response was yes, with an inquiry of where we were located and who installed the elevator. I sent the response including that we purchased the home, but who it appears installed the elevator from paperwork left by the previous owners. Mr. Case responded that he prefers that the installing company service elevators they installed and that Signature is very busy. He mentioned that we should contact Signature again if we cannot get a contract with the installer. Mr. Case should have started with this information and not wasted time. It was a very rude experience. I had of course started our search with the company that installed the elevator, but that company appears to no longer be in business. read more

My wife and I have a PVE37 (two-person) elevator installed by Signature Elevators & Accessible Design in March 2019. It's clear, cylindrical walls blend in perfectly with our home's modern design. The elevator has been almost entirely trouble-free. We've never been unable to get out of the elevator. The only problem we've had was when one of the sensors for door closure became misaligned and the elevator door wouldn't open to get in. Signature Elevators sent service technicians to our house within a couple of hours and they quickly solved the problem. While the permitting and elevator shaft construction took quite a bit of time, for reasons outside Signature Elevators' control, the elevator installation itself took only a couple of days and was done flawlessly. We are delighted with the PVE37 elevator, the quality of the installation done by Signature Elevators and the service provided since then. Of course, there hasn't been much service to do, but I can't say enough about the customer focus shown by Gary Case and by his lead service technician, Elmer. We had Signature Elevators & Accessible Design install a cylindrical pneumatic elevator in our home. The installation took some time due to the need for custom carpentry to install a semicircular fitting to the landing on the second floor and to anchor the elevator shaft. Custom work was also needed to replace a hanging pendant light fixture with recess lights and to replace the second floor railing with a matching railing that fit the elevator door opening, in addition to the work needed to install the motor in the attic. The elevator works perfectly as designed, but just as important, the work was done in an aesthetically pleasing way since it is installed in our entry way foyer and is the first thing one sees when entering the house through the front door. When the day comes that we need to move, we have no doubt that the elevator will add to the resale value of the house. The installation team was courteous and considerate which is important when having them in one's home on a daily basis for the extended period of time it took to complete the custom features of the installation. Paper was taped down everywhere the installation team worked to protect the wood floors. After cleanup, there is no way to tell that they were there. read more
