I used to come to this place religiously but took a break from doing gel x manicures, so when I decided to get a gel manicure and pedicure for my birthday, I figured I'd take a trip back here because I used to love it. Boy have things changed. This is apparently what $90 (plus tip) gets you. A very rushed gel manicure (took about 15-20 minutes), and a pedicure that has left my foot in pretty high discomfort and pain. I didn't realize how bad it was until I left and now I am away on a trip and can't return to complain in person. Be careful where you spend your money friends. i was a frequent customer until yesterday. i work at the boba shop next door and we weren't ready to open yet, i was covering someones shift and i had to do alot for the day and her customer came in really early and tried coming into my shop and i told him nicely if he can wait a few minutes and he left and that was it. This was by far the worst manicure ever. Linda would not remove the gel polish using the soak off method i requested only the drill. Because I went with someone against my better judgment i agreed. She cut my cuticles and tools were dirty. After 2 coats of Polish could still see my nail beds requested another coat of polish and she was clearly annoyed. Then filed the ends of my nails after the top coat was applied and cured. My nails started chipping after 3 hours after leaving this salon btw. Even after that , I still tipped her 20% percent. Ages ago, as student at UCR I used to come here because it was super convenient. The other day I was desperate so I dropped by for a pedi and nail polish change. I chose the number seven option pedicure - The Royal Treatment. I may be wrong but I don't think this is an option that is chosen often because the technician didn't seem very familiar with it. He accidentally burnt me with the paraffin treatment and missed more than one part and after the day I had I simply didn't have the energy to say anything. The end result speaks for itself. Polish is already chipping and it's gel. The soles of my feet are rougher than they were before the pedicure. The technician was a really nice person but the level of service was totally and completely lacking for me. read more

The people here are nice but the quality of service is poor. It's a clean facility, however the equipment being used was in poor condition. The gel polish used on me did not work properly and the application by the woman was poor! They had to scrape excess polish off my toenails and fingernail beds, the application was messy and the nail polish is super thick after 4 coats and a top coat. My nails were not prepped properly, or filed evenly and the GEL nail polish is PEELING RIGHT OFF MY NAIL BED! I am horrified by the quality of this service. And I would like a refund as soon as possible. They are affordable but not worth it! read more

Shittiest service I've ever witnessed in my life--save yourself the headache and the secondhand embarrassment. I walked in hoping to get my nails done, but instead got front row seats to the most unprofessional circus I've ever seen. One of the workers, who claims to be the "manager", publicly humiliated a poor customer just because she dared to give honest, polite feedback. The nail tech asked the customer how do they look, The customer literally tried to sugarcoat it by saying the nails kind of looked like burritos (honestly, they looked like overcooked, lumpy tortillas glued to her fingers, she was being way too kind), and this so-called manager snapped like she was on some reality TV breakdown. Full-on yelling, arms flailing, unhinged meltdown in front of everyone. You'd think she just got personally attacked, when in reality the customer was trying to help her do her job better because she is paying for the service. It was beyond pathetic, I swear I've never seen a grown woman embarrass herself so hard. Acting like a victim, screaming at a paying customer because God forbid someone points out that their work looks like hot garbage. I was next in line, but you couldn't pay me to sit in that chair after that cringe-fest. I grabbed my things and walked out because, seriously, who do she think she is? She is doing nails--badly. The first pic is the inspo pic. The following pics are my completed nails. Just gel nails are $33 but bc I got a design it was $43. I'm leaving 2 stars bc it was an overall bad experience. At first my nail tech put stickers on for the sparkles, which perfectly matched the inspo pic. Before curing my nails, I mentioned several times that the corners of the sticker were lifting but she said that she would do another coat so it would be okay. After doing ALL my nails with the stickers, she then noticed the stickers lifting and decided to file off all the stickers and start from scratch with silver polish instead. The silver polish job was messy and rushed (see the third pic). At that point we were 90 minutes in and she had another person waiting. I'm not giving it 1 star bc she did try to fix it, but the experience was just awful and exhausting. Also while there I got 3 mosquito bites and another nail tech got bit as well. my first time here didn't go well at all. i gave the second star due to the cleanliness of the nails. The job was not terrible they did a proper job on cleaning my nails, the nails are not ugly the problem is i never asked for gel x and they did it anyways, the other problem is the service and judgement i felt the moment i walked in. Everyone can tell when someone is judging them especially groups of people, coming in looking at my feet and hands and laughing in their language and the staring i was getting from a specific lady let me know she was judging and laughing at me, I didn't say anything due to the fact that i didn't understand, but u can always feel when people are talking about you. I was asked if i was doing acrylic or gel x and i specifically said acrylic, but the ladies felt that for them it was better to do gel x. I never had got gel x so I didn't know the process, but once i seen her start painting my nails, i was extremely mad. respectful enough to not make her take them all off and do what i asked for . Since she felt that i got short nails she felt that it would be better to get gel x when again that is not what i asked for. You guys need to stop judging people and do what the fuck they ask for. Mind yal i paid $117 on these nails and toes and i did not tip bc they didn't give me what I asked for. Never am i cheating on NV nails again. Myself, my 9 year old daughter and her friend went. The ladies were pretty nice to me, but my daughter and her friend told me the other lady was rude to them. My daughter selected a color and the nail tech told her it was too light for her and to pick another color. The nails themself are very very mediocre. We don't live in the area and we're just going to the closest nail shop while doing some errands (big mistake). My acrylic is very thick and chunky..making the nails look like press ons. And my daughter and her friend got gel manicures and their nails have multiple spots missing nail polish..their nails are very tiny so I'm not sure how that happened. I wouldn't recommend this place, I still tipped and was kind but they are just not very good. read more
