There were 3 inch thick branches, rhododendron clippings, holly clippings, multiple bundles of long twigs and huge mats of long dead pine needles included. We were dreading having it removed after hearing neighborhood horror stories about flaky arborists and multi thousand dollar quotes. The recently demised tree was wedged between our house, our neighbors house and a power line; so I was terrified of it falling and incurring major damage. After almost a full year of procrastination I finally decided to deal with the dang thing. I checked out reviews for all the tree service contractors in the Portland Area I emailed and left messages with six different shops. Blue Sky was the first to respond and not only was Jason highly professional but his quote was more than reasonable. He gave me the option to file for the tree cutting permit myself to save money (which I appreciate I'm always trying to save a buck!) The permit office commented that the photos he provided expedited the process and made a point of telling me they appreciated his competence. After I obtained the permit he was able cut down the tree two days later!! Jason was amazing, he showed up when he said he would and worked his arse off for four hours not stopping once until my dead tree was completely leveled. Before he left he even considerately cleared my sidewalk and street of all debris. From start to finish I had a great experience with Blue Sky and spent WAY less than I expected to. AND I no longer have to worry about that tree crushing my house!!!

On 10/02/19 finally around 4:30pm I received a call back from Anna and as I picked up to start talking she hung up so I called her right back and had to leave another message and waited for another 20 minutes before she called me back and said I must have butt dialed you and that she needed to call me back anyway. We start talking about days that would work for us and she had one day in mind but it was not good for me, so I gave her 3 other options that would work and she couldn't give any answer and said that she would have to call me back with the answer on 10/03/19. On 10/03/19 at 7am I called them again to set up a day and a time and once again no answer ... still waiting for her to call me back. This company only has 2 guy's on the job and 2 guys on call and no cherry-picker or a lift. 10/04/19 by this time I have called 4 other companies and have had quicker responses back. At this point I will not be using this company. Poor customer relations, lack of  communication, therefore their services are probably poor and worthless.
