juicy dumpling factory is seriously such a good din tai fung dupe everything we ordered was sooo flavorful and comforting!! the beef rolls were definitely my FAV. super crispy and crunchy on the outside with such a savory filling. i would honestly come back just for these the garlic noodles were so fragrant, garlicky, buttery, and perfectly chewy. you also HAVE to order the mapo tofuuu!!! the flavors just hit different so rich, savory, a little spicy, and sooo good with rice. the sweet and sour spare ribs had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the fried rice was yummy, simple, and comforting we also tried their new corn cheese with shrimp and it was such an interesting combo!! super creamy and cheesy, so if you love cheesy stuff you'll definitely enjoy this one all of their flavored teas are really good too, but the strawberry yogurt drink was my favorite it's creamy, refreshing, and not too heavy. such a good spot when you're craving some comfort food without the din tai fung wait. definitely coming back for the beef rolls and mapo tofu

Food was pretty good! I'd say it isn't quite up to par with Din Tai Fung flavor wise but it definitely hits the same craving and I could see myself returning here more frequently as opposed to Din Tai Fung purely because the service is much better. Our server was quick to take our order, the food came out fast and fresh. The broccoli beef was one of our favorites, followed by the chive shrimp and pork dumplings.

This place is great! Seems like all the dishes are seasoned well, everything I ordered was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I might like this place more than din tai fung. Everyone was polite and quick to get our orders . It's a tight fit inside the restaurant but doable. I'll be back for those green beans definitely the highlight of the meal.

Came here for lunch with coworkers and had a great experience. We arrived around 11:50am when the restaurant was still pretty quiet with only a couple of other parties, but by 12:30pm it had filled up quickly. The restaurant is a decent size with simple, casual decor. We ordered several dishes to share: Cold clear noodles Orange chicken Dry-fried string beans Juicy pork dumplings Pork & cabbage pan-fried dumplings Pork pot stickers Spicy pork wontons Beef roll Dan Dan noodles The food came out fast, and everything was delicious. My favorites were the cold noodles, orange chicken, and spicy wontons. Portions were generous and very filling. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu!

I heard there was a DTF dupe right down the street, so obviously I had to investigate. Zero wait on a Friday night? Immediate green flag. Was it a dupe? Absolutely not. Was it a solid alternative? Sure... but let's not get delusional. It's not Din Tai Fung. The vibe is much strip mall energy. Yes, there are servers. Yes, you sit down. But it still feels like casual dining with a slight glow-up. Can we collectively stop calling everything a "dupe" just because it exists in the same category? Words mean things. If DTF is the eldest golden child who grew up to be the hotshot doctor every Asian mom brags about, Juicy Dumpling Factory is the baby of the family who became a successful mechanical engineer. Still impressive. Still making the family proud. But let's be real... the eldest is still carrying the family name. Will I go again? Yes. It was good. Cheaper. Faster. Tasty. Will I tell people to go here instead? Sure... as long as they've never been to DTF.

This spot is a hit! I've had it in my sights for a while but just haven't made the time to visit. While out and about I was trying to think of something to eat and this came up as a suggestion. Glad it did! Stopped in and the place was almost full around 2:30pm. I got the juicy pork dumplings, prime beef chow mein, beef rolls, and the orange chicken because I saw some reviews where people raved about it. All of it was good! Great even! It came out pretty quickly as well! I thought about dining in cause it's a casual lil spot with good music playing but I took it to go instead. The staff were super friendly! Will definitely be back!

We absolutely love, juicy dumpling factory, not only for the delicious food and juicy pork dumpling, but their service is really quite amazing and attentive. The restaurant is on the smaller side so there can often be a little bit of a wait but it's completely worth it. I think we have tried every single dish on the menu and we have our favorites such as the beef, fried rice, string beans, dumplings. I would say it is comparable to Din Tai Fung and they have a lot of similar menu items but for less! You can ask for extra Ginger, which I always do! We always seem to have leftovers because the portions are very generous. Sometimes they have their waitlist activated on Yelp so you can join that and avoid the wait.

The dumplings here are good, but I'm here for the noodles! I came here a couple months ago with a group and got to have a taste of the golden beef noodle soup. I was thinking about it recently and had to go back to get my own bowl. I like that the spice comes from fresh chilies since it tastes clean and refreshing. The sliced beef is soft and the noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente. They give a decent amount of bok choy and cilantro too. We also like getting the crispy chili chicken. Easy parking and efficient service.

Dan Dan Noodles, excuse the photo being half eaten, it was super flavorful. Photo as of February 2026.

Came here for lunch today and this place didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly, quick, and helpful. We were greeted and offered a seat right away. Not too bad for a Saturday afternoon. This restaurant is small, so I can see there being a wait time if it gets busy. Ambience is nice, modern, and clean. We ordered the juicy dumpling, Dan Dan noodles, spicy wonton, and cilantro chives dumplings (no soup). The price points were average, our total bill was $62 (including tip). Portion sizes are decent for sharing. Food is flavorful and come with sauces that isn't too heavy. Overall great experience and we'll definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality, Juicy Dumpling Factory!

Came here on a sunday around 11am no wait to be seated. Parking lot one restroom. Tables clean service quick. Menu on table to order. Got the spicy wonton it was good not too spicy. The pork cabbage dumpling were good and moist was my favorite. The cucumber salad was flavorful. The beef noodle soup was good the noodle were nice the broth was on the spicer side. I drank the peach tea it was good and not too sweet. All in all good to try and would come again!

Just as good as the first time I went. The service is really good with the wait staff passing by often to see if anything is needed. Ordered the staples but tried a Bok choy dish this time. The Bok choy is a clear garlic stir fry, very light on the taste and not having the typical corn starch thickened sauce. The place is small and you have to put your name on the wait list. One tip is to ask for a table away from the front door. There's too many people that pass and if anyone opens the front door there is a strong current of air that rushes in.

I was able to sit immediately, since there was an open table. The server came to take my order fairly quickly, and my food also came out quickly. There was no follow up to ask how I was doing or anything until last call. The food tasted good, but the service felt like a glorified fast food restaurant. The staff needs to be more on the ball, as I saw tables with guests and their plates stacked up, and there was minimal pre-bussing. "Do you want me to throw in another order?" Is that how you communicate with guests?

So much yum! The spot: The restaurant has easy parking. Inside is small so expect a little wait. Takeout is a great option! The service: fantastic! Everyone is kind and helpful. The food: my favorites are the juicy chicken dumplings. I love the texture and filling. I also really enjoy the orange chicken. It's super flavorful without feeling heavy and overly fried. A must order is the string beans! I could order just these and be happy - they're that good. The chow mein noodles are also fantastic! Prices are higher than I usually opt for but it's totally worth it!

Juicy Dumpling Factory Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Juicy Dumpling Factory

Do they have. Gluten free dumplings?

No gluten free dumplings but definitely gluten free other dishes.

Do they fry their dumplings in peanut oil?

Their menu indicates which items have Peanuts. It does not indicate peanut in any of the fried dumplings. It also says, "Please advise if you have allergies". It would be best to call and ask the manager. 714 594-3695

    Do they offer alcohol?

Actually they do not serve alcohol yet. It is on their menu, but do not have the liquor license I am assuming.

I really recommend the pear salad because the arugula, burrata, the dressing with the Korean pear is so refreshing. One downside is that they're a bit too pricey now so I don't go as much as I did before.

It wasn't that busy yet but after a few minutes, large group of people started showing up. We did have a reservation prior. The cafe is really nice, pretty big and spacious. All of the staff are really nice. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 main dish to share. I love getting their cloud matcha latte, it has this sweet and salty earthy taste that I love. My bf got the marble coffee, he said it was pretty good as well. Then we had calamari, spicy wontons and THE DAO. Calamari was plentiful in serving, comes with a sauce and I really liked their sauce, it has citrusy taste. The spicy wontons are a crowd favorite as well for me. It definitely puts it on the top spot of spicy wontons I've tried from other spots. THE DAO (yes, it needed the caps lock on the name), this is my top appetizer from this cafe. The first time I tried it, I was craving it for a while. Some people might say it's a simple appetizer, but for me it's the taste and flavor that put it on the top spot. For the main dish we had Xo Chien, it's a crispy rice with pork floss, egg, chinese sausage. It's a delightful dish, and the flavor and texture is pretty nice as well. My bf loves this dish. Definitely recommend going here for a brunch. Can't wait to come back and try their menu for lunch and dinner.

Back Again... and Somehow This Fusion Spot Still Hits!…read more Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend, and this is one of those spots I somehow end up visiting about once a year. Usually, when you revisit a restaurant after some time, you start noticing the quality slipping a little... but nope. This place has officially hit FOUR times in a row! Dry Bun Bo Hue -- $21 | 8.8/10 Although it says "dry," there's actually about 2 tablespoons of broth hiding at the bottom, and LET ME TELL YOU... that sauce is where the magic happens! It has this amazing sweet, spicy, slightly sour aroma that coats every noodle and pairs so well with the chopped beef. The noodles were cooked perfectly, too. I haven't had this since last June, so I was definitely a happy girl. Just squeeze a whole lemon over the top and BOOM--perfection! Squid & Mango Salad -- $16 | 8.5/10 So fresh and refreshing! The squid wasn't overly cooked or rubbery, and the mango had just the right amount of sweetness. Add in the peanuts, pickled veggies, herbs, and that sesame cracker for some crunch... and YES PLEASE! Such a fun combination of flavors and textures. Bun Ca -- $17 | 7/10 My girlfriend ordered this one, and I had to sneak a bite, of course. It's a fish noodle dish that was good, but I felt like it was missing that extra flavor element to really make it pop. Since this is a newer dish, I can definitely see them tweaking it and making it even better! Mango Sticky Rice -- $9 | 7.8/10 A little sweeter than my personal preference, but that purple sticky rice with the creamy sauce and fresh baby coconut?! DIVINE. The combination was seriously delicious--I just wish it had been slightly less sweet. And shoutout to Thomas, our waiter, who was so sweet and kind and took great care of us! What I love most is that I'm not even a huge fan of fusion food, yet somehow this place continues to impress me every single time I come back. Four visits later and they're still holding their own! Definitely one of my favorite spots, and if you're curious about their other concepts, definitely check out their other restaurants too! Beautiful ambiance and decor. Happy EATS!

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!

All of the sides are actually good, their sushi is fresh, and their JBBQ meats are juicy! Service is always super quick and there's always someone checking in on us. Some of my notable favorite dishes: - beef tongue - salmon belly nigiri - truffle toro hand roll - uni udon It's pretty dim inside and gives a high-end vibe. I have yet to try their more expensive menus but I appreciate that their cheapest one still has such high quality and variety!

Here are my top contenders in somewhat order: Hamachi(Yellowtail) Crudo Toro Wagyu beef Uni Toro handroll Scallop Nigiri Hamachi Nigiri Crispy Rice Redang Salmon Crudo and Nigiri Wagyu Top Sirlon and Chuckflap Pork Cheek and galbi Wagyu Brisket and Beef Tongue Salmon Rangoon Corn Ribs Beef Larb Tacos Tip: ask for your fresh wasabi and ginger! We are all very happy with the quality of ingredients and variety offered. It was appreciated that most items had a refreshing aspect so we did not stop as early as we thought. The menu is clearly very thought out and made with care. It was also convenient to order through a phone as well. I do have to say I was disappointed in the Uni pasta and wagyu sliders. These items were my favorite when i went near opening but it seems like the changed the recipe/preparation method for it and skimped on the uni by A LOT. In additions, we tried three rolls and did not particularly like any of them. Perhaps they should revisit this part of the menu. Tom yum was too sweet and lackluster too but that's me being picky. Overall, the $55 menu is a solid choice and you will leave happy and full (with a bonus ice cream in the end too!) Other notes: lots of parking large plaza
