New location and one of many reviews but this was a new experience for me and oddly enough this was the 'First Time' I've ever decided to eat at a Silver Diner. Parking lot was packed, as anticipated, but our wait time was less than 20mins...Key was to have a party of two. Seated quickly, waitress acknowledged us upon seating and we were checked on by another hostess right after, appreciated the attentive customer services. Husband was reading the menu and the gentleman featured in the menu had actually come to our table to greet us, the Executive Chef, Ype Von Hengst, unexpected but a very pleasant surprise. Now let's get into the food, the entire reason for our visit. We ordered the Lumberjack Breakfast and the American Favorite. My Husband wanted to exchange his pancakes first a waffle but it was $10 to add. He decided not to make the change but he did ask for a bowl of grits. Unfortunately, the grits were not to his liking but he literally ate the rest of his meal, I would say that was a win because he never eats all of his food. My meal was the American Favorite and I read it came with a biscuit, I asked for gravy and glad I did because the biscuit was a little dry but that's no match for me, just add a little bit of sausage gravy and it was all good. The rest of my meal was cooked to perfection, so I was doing a little happy dance in my seat. All in All, this was a great experience, location is in our community and definitely plan on making another appearance. If you haven't visited this establishment yet, I encourage you to visit. It has a nicely covered detached outdoor seating area that looks inviting as well. I only gave four stars because of the grits (opportunity to excel because we love grits). But we loved to see the diversity of employees working at the establishment and they seemed lively and worked as a team. I give five stars for this alone. Good job. read more

first of all the staff are wonderful, warm and welcoming from the hostess to the waitstaff to the manager! The food was excellent, I ordered a burger and fries to go for a friend and I ate the chicken"burger" on a gluten-free bun, deliciously cooked and I love their fries and the presentation of the fries. The perfect breakfast venue in the area! We were seated immediately, and the restaurant is very nice with plenty of seating and music. The food was great, mainly the milkshakes, waffles, eggs and breakfast meat. Our server Kate was friendly, every order was correct, and she was very attentive. For example, she came around several times to refill our coffee / water and after our food was delivered to ensure we had everything. My husband and I love to come to Silver Diner! We are always greeted kindly, and the service is good. Sunday evening I tried the Oat Milk Protein Pancakes. They were incredible! They left me full, and not feeling as if I had just had entirely too much sugar, which is exactly how pancakes usually make me feel. They have 40 g of protein! My hubby ordered the chicken and waffles, which I have also had in the past. They serve it with a gravy for the chicken which is fantastic! It comes standard with a cherry pepper honey, we prefer the regular syrup over that. The syrup is served to you warm. The waffle has pecans! It is a perfect balance of sweet and savory. This is a new location for Silver Diner and I am happy that we decided to go for brunch. Lots of parking available, no wait time for seating, very clean and spacious atmosphere. Service was great. The food and drinks delicious. We had the wings, shrimp and loaded fries for appetizers and I had the watermelon Fresca to drink. My meal was the caramel French toast with bacon and coffee all very tasty. I am looking forward to going back for happy hour. read more

Well I believe all the right things were in place to make this a solid and positive review but sadly it was not. This being a new location gives a sense of expectation. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich and the server noticed that there was an issue with the system and they were simply taking too long. He assured me he would talk to the manager about a discount which seems fair. I have been here over an hour and I still don't have my check. The manager said no. And hey I wasn't expecting that my meal would be comped but something for my time. Even a manager showing up and apologizing would suffice...but nothing. Service was as expected, the food was pretty good, but it took entirely too long to make. And it wasn't busy... needless to say, I'm guessing day time management might be better. To best explain our experience, I would say mediocre. We were excited to try the diner due to the high rated reviews and proximity to our home. However, the food was bland and we found the prices high for the quality. Not to mention they seat people almost on top of each other. It was insanely loud and truthfully frustrating. I know the business is still fairly new as well as the staff, but service was quite slow. well staffed location especially since it's brand new! just opened a few days ago, I decided to order our company lunch from here. they were able to take my order over the phone & it was ready in 30 minutes! staff here was friendly and everyone seemed to be running around trying to help each other. a lot more modern than some silver diners I've been to, yet still nostalgic enough to take you back to a vintage diner. they put name tags on each entree so I would know which item was for which employee. they missed the meat with my Belgian waffle, but they caught it before I walked out the door thankfully! my office is closed by, but by the time I got back, my waffle was soggy. but it was still delicious! eggs perfectly cooked. ham was nice and salty. overall happy with my meal! my coworkers all raved about the food and how they couldn't believe that food came from silver diner! I'd return and get our meals from them again. my only gripe is I wish the online ordering let me put name or special instructions on there instead. The restaurant was teeming with friendly and eager employees working to welcome our party and answer questions about unfamiliar menu items. We started with the lamb meatballs which were tender and moist and went very well with the accompanying tzatziki sauce. I ordered the Lamb Merguez Shakshuka. Our lovely waiter, Melissa, warned me that it had a bit of a kick but it was a little spicier than I expected. I loved the lamb sausage swimming in the rich tomato based sauce. For the meat lovers, the portion of meat was more than expected. The two fried eggs nestled on top were perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. Everything was served efficiently and made to order. We eat here semi regularly and I'm always surprised at how good the food is. I don't think of diners as being great food but SD is better than a typical diner. Traditional diner vibe with both larger booths and tables for families. We saw everything from large groups to tables of one or two while we were there. No wait at 6:45pm on a Thursday evening for a family of 5. Our server was extremely attentive and polite. It was clear he was trying to connect, asking about what he saw us wearing or other noticeable things about us. The wait for food was a little bit but the quality of the food and the taste made up for it. Even my picky parents had nothing but good things to say about the food. The scallops were not overcooked and my dad found a rare specialty item on the menu that he says he has trouble finding anywhere nowadays - liver!
