Walked in and walked out. We were going to get a Togo plate of the Mongolian bbq. The place was extremely dirty. In addition they tried to charge us $17.50 a plate when they did not offer seafood or lamb and had very limited option for veggies and sauces. It is a total rip off! Stopped by this establishment after getting a nearby car wash. I've come here before for the Mongolian barbecue, which is very good. Today I placed a to go order for chicken chow mein and pork fried rice. Chicken chow mein was mediocre at best. Mainly noodles, minimal chicken and onions. The flavor was OK however it was rather dry. Pork fried rice was tasty was fine shavings of pork. This review is simply for the service I received today. I was super happy and excited to make the drive to get my food as I have been before. I ordered my food at 7pm and was given a wait time of 25 min. I understand it's dinner time and there was a wait. However. When the 25 min came out I was told my food was not even ready. I sat and asked for some water while I waited. At 7:40 I was asked what my order was to which I told her the dinner combo and she grabbed the bag that had been sitting there the whole time I waited. When I received my food there was no apology given. The customer that came out after me also stated he had been waiting for his order and it was indeed just sitting there the whole time. It's frustrating to pay $20 and have it not even be hot to enjoy. read more

Came in for a Mongolian bbq. What I liked most about this restaurant was how friendly and accommodating every staff we encountered were. The guy who cooks the Mongolian bowl was nice and friendly both before and after cooking my bowl (unlike other restaurants where I feel like they judge you for trying to fit a lot in your DIY Mongolian bowl). I really liked the atmosphere and the vibe they gave during our visit. The food was good too (but of course, it depends on how you make your bowl since it's DIY). You can choose either a fried rice or a white rice to pair with your bowl. We opted for the fried rice. I'd be glad to come back to this place. Next time, we'll try their Chinese food. read more

Best Mongolian BBQ in sac area. This is on my commute back home. Stopped by from a reference of a friend and was not let down. The options are basic if any Mongolian bbq place. The dressings is what you need for par. Chinese side dishes were great as well. We ordered the spring rolls and rice as well as a side of pork. Clean, tasty, relatively quick. Only reason not 5 stars is even on a slow night service was a bit slow. But I chock that up to shorten staff. read more

What a hidden gem! I had been told about this place over a month ago and decided to try it for the first time. So happy we did! My partner has been trying to find a good Chinese restaurant since moving to Sac three years ago and this place was stellar. The staff was lovely. The place was clean. The Mongolian BBQ area was well taken care of and kept tidy and clean. We ordered Mongolian bbq bowls, chicken wings, small order of chow mein and our meal came with egg rolls, fried rice, cabbage soup, cream cheese wontons. Our food came out hot. The Mongolian noodles are definitely the best in the area. The only reason I give 4 stars is cause their fried rice is bland and taste like nothing but idk maybe it's me but I like my food seasoned I'm sure a few others would agree. Silver Garden is my new favorite quick lunch when I visit the Sacramento area. Mongolian BBQ is a must! A friendly greeting from the staff at entry and we place our order for the one-bowl Mongolian lunch. We were asked if steamed or fried rice and our beverage request, then shown our seat. A comfortable booth with a big window where we could see our car. The line was short at the Mongolian station. All customers are provided disposable gloves to use while you engage the stations. A wonderful feature to help ensure food safety. The selection and quantity of the frozen meats was nice. Pork, beef, white and dark chicken. Assorted veggies and all looked so fresh. Plenty of sauces to build your perfect blend. The chef's are the best I've encountered at a Mongolian bbq. My second time here, the chef looked at me and said 'welcome back' with what I would assume a smile (he had a mask on). My food was promptly placed on a freshly cleaned grill and my food starts to cook. With care, the chef works the mix of noodles, veggies, and meat around the grill ensuring everything cooks evenly and completely. He adds just enough water to mix but not dilute the flavor I created. Into the bowl and off to my seat I go. My soda, soup, steamed rice, egg rolls, wontons and cheese puffs are waiting for me, hot and delicious. During my meal, my soda is never empty. The staff keeps a watchful eye on their customer tables. My only concern is the area outside which is in decline due to California politics. Upon entering the parking lot with a liquor store, you pass a growing homeless encampment nearby. I appreciate the large windows to watch my car because I travel with dogs and need to keep an eye on them.
