I noticed the prices were very good on her posts so I decided to take a look at her website. I saw nothing but good reviews so I decoded to reach out to get a consultation. After being super indecisive I ended up giving Molly a call and she was super helpful and knowledgeable. She worked with me on picking the perfect stone , choosing a nice setting and designed it start to finish. The turnaround time was very fast and she gave me updates quite frequently throughout the whole process. She video chatted me with the actual diamond and sent me preliminary CAD drawings. She even gave me suggestions and ideas about making a proposal. I ended up choosing my lady's favorite restaurant and tried to make a reservation which didn't go as planned. The lady at the restaurant blew me off the phone. I told Molly what happened and she called the restaurant and got the manager on the phone. She literally set the reservation for me and had the manager reach out to me. I didn't expect her to go out of her way to do that for me but she was legitimately concerned about this being perfect. I was able to coordinate my proposal with the restaurant manager and it was AMAZING thanks to her. The ring came out sooooo nice I will have to post a picture of it when I get a chance. Two jewelers I checked with estimated a 2-3 week turnaround, longer with the 1st store since the jeweler was on vacation. My wife looked online, found Two Sisters and saw the business had great reviews. The reviews were right. Dropped the ring off yesterday and picked it up today. Not only was my ring perfectly resized (which was determined yesterday by a very friendly lady behind the counter) but thanks to an expert cleaning my ring shines and sparkles just like on the day my bride slipped it onto my finger at our wedding. When I picked up the ring, the lady wasn't there but there was a friendly young man and...the gray-haired male comedian. His advice for caring for the shiny ring? On a sunny day when I'm driving, hang my hand with the wedding ring out the car window, point it at the other cars and blind them with my bling. I intend to use that. Believe me, he had other suggestions, one potentially painful but might just work. This is our go-to jewelers now. It's a great store doing fine work, and with at least one person doing standup as you pay the bill. What more could you ask for?

It is a precious…read morefamily heirloom and based on advertising I have seen for Fircrest Jewelers stating that it is a locally owned business that one could trust with their family heirlooms, I felt comfortable. The shank broke on 5/11/2026, and I took it back on 5/12/2026. The lady who waited on me made a loud production about their one-year warranty and how the damage to my ring was outside of the year. It was 3 weeks outside of the warranty. It was unprofessional behavior and there were other people in the business who could hear her admonish me. She said she would speak to the owner and get back to me. I received a text message on 5/13/2026, stating that I could pay $40 for the repair. I picked up my ring and took it to another jewelry store who looked the ring over to give me an estimate. Attached is the picture I took when they explained that the work that had been done was faulty. There are bubbles in the shank and you can see the lines where the metal was added to upsize the ring. So much for over 30 years' experience in the business. I would expect this type of customer experience with a corporate owned business where profit is the goal over everything else, not from a "locally owned business that advertises that you can trust your precious family heirlooms with them." Update/Response: The ring was not bent nor had it been sized before. I hardly wear this ring, and I never wear it for work, around the house or in the garden. I received this from a grandparent, and it was a size 4 or 5. Fircrest is the only jeweler that I have had size this ring, and that was in April of last year. It broke at the seam of the metal that was used to upsize the ring to a size 8.5. The jeweler that looked over the ring was not impressed with the work and there was no discussion about the ring being bent or sized multiple times.

bring gold here. don't bring silver or pearls. i brought a few items for analysis. first, a pearl…read morehad been very poorly set at another jeweler, leaving epoxy on the pearl and setting and the pearl was off center. the ken's jeweler associate said it was the "best way that the prior jeweler had thought it should go" and said i should just live with it. that was my first sign not to bring pearls here. second, they say they can clean jewelry. i brought an abalone silver ring and asked for cleaning. she said why don't you just use a cleaning cloth and did a light hand polish and handed it back. so i didn't request any further cleaning services. they don't have on-site silver smithing. they use the same bench smith as every other jeweler in Tacoma, which has associated higher prices for send out and they cant do a consult directly as a result. so you can't plan repairs or new work in silver with the jewelers doing the work or even get a quote on site. they might be ok for gold but for silver or pearls, don't go. they don't have any personal knowledge.
