Our room was great, comfortable, spotless and at the perfect temperature. Breakfast foods and service were very nice with little extras like Vermont's cheddar cheese on the eggs and local sourdough bread. The Inn is amazing for its views of the mountains and the quaintness of the town of Manchester.

We had a small gathering and stayed in 8 rooms at the Inn at Manchester for several days. The IAM is a family owned, operated and has a warm and welcoming vibe. It is ideally located, has 3 guest houses with 21 guest rooms and soft grass grounds with birch trees, VT marble chairs and Adirondack chairs. It is far enough from the downtown yet an easy walking distance to the town and many restaurants, fly fishing, golf and hiking trails. The rooms we had were tastefully decorated and large about ~500 sqft. and the largest suite was ~700 sqft. Beds were comfortable and some had separate sitting rooms with a desk. Some of us worked a couple of days and their Wi-Fi was decent. Included breakfasts offered several choices which differed daily. Solid farm cooking that we enjoyed were French toast, homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, cottage cakes, buttermilk pancakes and eggs made to order, bacon and breakfast sausages. They accommodated our dietary needs too. The Morning coffee (VT Mtn) and tea station is set up early in the morning and throughout the breakfast hours. We also had an event on their covered Celebration Barn patio with a fire pit. The innkeepers provided a name of a local caterer which worked out well. The event setup person was on schedule and he even stayed later to re-setup after an untimely rain. The caterer did an exceptional job and everyone loved the food! The fire pit was great to hang out at to enjoy the NE evenings. Price is reasonable given their location, service level and the quality of the Inn. The service at the Inn at Manchester is fabulous! The Innkeeper, Gabriela and GM, Todd were exceptional, warm and super helpful! They know the area well and though I've visited Manchester many times prior, Gabriela's hiking trail recommendation was spot on. Parking is a private lot and is free. While this inn is bigger than the many family run lodgings, the intimate small NE vibe is apparent! We chose IAM over better known nearby hotels as this inn isn't stodgy. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Manchester due to the wonderfully kind Gabriel and Todd!

We absolutely never expected the art installations across the grounds -- including 18 x 26-foot Egyptian statues! The art and decor were eclectic and unexpected, and I found them very intriguing. It's definitely not your traditional resort, but that's what we liked about it. And the statues made for an amazing night with smores by the fire pit! The Reunion House was spacious -- we particularly enjoyed the living room, as it gave us enough room to comfortably host the other half of our family (about 25 of us) for a casual birthday party. There was plenty of seating with cozy leather sectionals and two large dining tables that seated about 8-10 people each. My daughter loved playing the piano in the living room, and the rooms downstairs with the daybeds were a great place for the kids to hang out and watch TV together. (The galley kitchen is a little small, but we were aware of this ahead of time because it was mentioned on their website.) We were there during a massive heat wave and all the air conditioners worked very well and kept us cool. Our kids loved the volley ball/badminton area steps away from our house. The outdoor pool is beautiful and it was so wonderful to be able to gather there easily with our whole family. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed looking around the mansion as well. There was so much do to in nearby Manchester -- great restaurants and shops, the bookstore is fantastic. We also enjoyed the ropes course and alpine slide at Bromley Mountain. We can't wait to return next year -- we'll be staying at one of the other properties even closer to my extended family's rental house and I'm so excited for its private balconies, jacuzzi tubs, and even more beautiful mountain views!

The grounds are beautiful, serving as an outdoor sculpture garden, perfect for strolling or meditation. The inn is located away from the bustle of Manchester Center, but only a few minutes away from Main Street and the state roads to reach nearby towns. The main house was rented out for the weekend, so we were unable to go inside, but Melissa graciously offered to give us a quick tour when we checked out (contactless, as was the check-in), so we had the opportunity to meet Melissa, as well as the "doggie concierge" Jetson, and sampled some muffins baked on the premises. Top-notch service and hospitality, would love to return in the warmer seasons!

First impressions mean a lot, and ours were favorable: Handsome and well-tended grounds and a warm welcome at the reception desk. Our king studio suite was ample and spacious, though the layout is a little awkward. The bathroom seemed newly refreshed, with barn sliding doors and a large walk-in shower. The buffet breakfast had all the greatest hits one would expect (waffle bar, oatmeal, eggs/sausage/hash browns, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast/bagels/pastries) and plenty of hot beverages and juice. Though Manchester has an abundance of inns and B&Bs, if those are either fully booked or out of your price-range, you won't go wrong by booking a room at this Hampton outpost.

Like, you walk in...the keys to your room are in a basket with a piece of paper on the counter, name on that as well. It's very weird. I guess the ...the future? Lemme say a few things..good and bad about that. The Good! Ok...super convenient. In.....and OUT! You drop your key in the basket and bounce. No check-in or check-out. But see! AH! There is also some bad to that...."bad" FOREVER we have ALL dealt with front desk employees. So...we all have gotten used to that, right? Of course. There is some kind of comfort in having a front desk employee there. Thats about all the good...I would say lol The BAD! What if you lock your key in your room on accident? You are basically screwed. Not sure if there is a way to contact anyone to get you back in and yes....they are actual keys! Not the little cards we all see at regular, mainstream hotels. I DID! lock my key in the room the following morning. THANKFULLY! there was ONE employee there...BUT she was there to make the continental breakfast...which I will talk about in a min. She was able to give me my spare key. Thank God. If you need something in the middle of the night...oh well. There is no one there to assist you. They tell you where extra towels are and stuff like that on the paper you get when you check yourself in. It's an Inn...and Inn very close to the slopes. So when there is actual snow and the place is packed....I would assume its similar to being in a college dorm lol Don't get me wrong tho, place is very homey. The common room is incredible and I kept imaging it when I was there....FK! this would be so much fun during ski season and this place is full of people! HOWEVER! People drink and drink a lot. The walls here are THIIIIIIIIN!!! So be prepared for that! BRING. EAR. PLUGS! and use the in room ac unit for the fan to drown out noise from other rooms. You will need it. The views from the rooms are beyond incredible. I have some attached. Beautiful views of the slopes and in the Fall...the colors. The breakfast! FKN! INCREDIBLE!!! She put out all the basics, bagels and whatnot, full muffins...amazing! She made these cinnamon muffins....SO. GOOD!! I too a few home with me to give to my mom haha! Overall, it's a great place. Really is. I would definitely stay again. OH! They allow dogs....for a fee of course...even the super tiny ones. They will know too if you have a dog with you. Cameras....everywhere. It's located on a busy road..so keep a close eye on those pups. The grounds around the Inn are amazing. Cute little pond out back, sitting areas all around. It's a wonderful place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going through Manchester or anywhere near there. Very unique experience. I honestly can't remember ever staying at an Inn before. There is something definitely...better..about an Inn vs staying at one of the big hotel chains. Feels more like....a house? with lots of strangers haha! Thanks for reading, YelperBromleyians! My kids loved the inn and the great room gave us a wonderful place to connect with cousins but...there is very little soundproofing in the rooms and, as a result, it was a bit stressful to try to keep our two (under ten) quite enough that we felt we weren't disturbing other guests. We had issues with the Roku television maintaining a connection to the internet and the hot tub (while lovely) is directly outside a room - you can see into the room while you're sitting in the hot tub. There's a free continental breakfast every morning and a sign up sheet for the next morning's hot breakfast (paid). As nervous as I was, the bed was comfortable and the room clean but still homey. The heating system worked perfectly, and we were totally comfortable even though one night was the first frost of the season! Everything about this place was charming and cozy. The only - ONLY - drawback I noticed (which wasn't even relevant to me since I'm still injured) was that it's not in a running-friendly location (no sidewalks just not highway but not regular road) and you'd have to drive a little to find a place to go.
