This is a wonderful B&B with spacious rooms, delicious food and in close proximity to downtown. We had the best time during our stay!

Just returned from a night at the inn and I couldn't be more pleased. As we pulled in we were kindly greeted by Jack (the innkeeper) shoveling away some freshly fallen snow. As soon as we entered the inn I knew I had picked the right place to stay. The property is magnificent, the inn is clean and decorated beautifully. We signed in and Jack helped us carry our bags to our rooms and went over some basics (using the fireplace, breakfast, coffee, wine/beer selection etc). We stayed in the room Anne Eliza, from my understanding this is one of the smaller rooms but worked fine for the night. This room faces the front towards the road, there is a nice view of mountains (equinox I think). The bathroom is quite large, very clean, the jacuzzi and fireplace...just amazing, the bath salts and candles around the jacuzzi were a great extra touch. The bed says queen to me it looked smaller but maybe thats because it's so high off the ground, didn't make much of a difference, it was comfy and we slept well. As morning approaches you'll hear cars driving by but we also had the window cracked opened so that didn't help. The inn is very close to downtown which is convenient with so many eating and shopping options. I don't know anything about the breakfast they offer since we chose to sleep in a bit (yeah even with the cars driving by)and missed it. If we venture out that way again, I'd without a doubt stay here. Thank you for the lovely stay!

I'm here because of the Vermont Summer Festival, everything is awesome in this town, the people is extreme nice and helpful, the town is completely georgeous, the view is unique, but even when everything is already perfect, i been stayong in this wonderful house/hotel, small, clean, peaceful, extreme confortable and full of class and history in every cornerr of the building. the dat when i came i meet the owners ( i forgot their names :(, so sorry), they were super nice, gave me a tour in all the house and told me a history why they got it, show me the kitchen, and offer me the breakfast for next morning. for my work i'm usually traveling and visiting different hotels, and i can say, this is one of the moat amazing place i ever seen, it's different than just a hotel, i felt like at home. hopefully for next year horse show i can stay here again. 10000000000% recomended.

Amazing food. Our room and the rest of the house was perfect - warm, cozy, ornate. We would definitely stay here again.

I'm gonna share these thoughts in no particular order. The hotel is incredibly dog friendly. That really stuck out. They're human friendly as well, but they are especially dog friendly. My impression of the hotel is that the Kimpton brand is so incredibly good at bringing outdated into today and still keeping the classic or historic elements in place. You can see that here through some of the photos I shared. Feel free to grab a bike or a scooter from the front and take a ride around town or around the property. If you brought your dog, grab a stick from the dog stick library and if you need to sit down and have a drink, every evening at five there's a Social hour where you can meet your neighbors and play some checkers over a glass of complementary wine or beer. There's usually some sort of snack involved and plenty of activities inside or out. The entire staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. It might be an act, but it looks like they enjoyed being there. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Here's a couple more notes. They have activities from bocce ball to a swimming pool, and the library is full of activities for people of all ages. Don't forget to grab a complementary cup of coffee in the morning on your way out for the day. The property and the rooms were always clean and the AC works like a charm.

It is a very dog friendly property, so if you aren't thrilled to see a dog in your hotel I'd stay somewhere else. We also booked as part of a sale on Travel Zoo and got the rooms for a great price. Manchester is well located to restaurants and outlet shopping. We also drove to see some cute towns and sites nearby. I would totally stay here again.

Great experience! Very eclectic, unconventional. Breathtaking mountain views…read more My family rented two vacation houses at the Wilburton for our large extended family of 25 -- I knew very little about the property before we arrived, so we were taken aback by the sprawling turn-of-the-century mansion and spectacular mountain views as we drove up the driveway. We absolutely never expected the art installations across the grounds -- including 18 x 26-foot Egyptian statues! The art and decor were eclectic and unexpected, and I found them very intriguing. It's definitely not your traditional resort, but that's what we liked about it. And the statues made for an amazing night with smores by the fire pit! The Reunion House was spacious -- we particularly enjoyed the living room, as it gave us enough room to comfortably host the other half of our family (about 25 of us) for a casual birthday party. There was plenty of seating with cozy leather sectionals and two large dining tables that seated about 8-10 people each. My daughter loved playing the piano in the living room, and the rooms downstairs with the daybeds were a great place for the kids to hang out and watch TV together. (The galley kitchen is a little small, but we were aware of this ahead of time because it was mentioned on their website.) We were there during a massive heat wave and all the air conditioners worked very well and kept us cool. Our kids loved the volley ball/badminton area steps away from our house. The outdoor pool is beautiful and it was so wonderful to be able to gather there easily with our whole family. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed looking around the mansion as well. There was so much do to in nearby Manchester -- great restaurants and shops, the bookstore is fantastic. We also enjoyed the ropes course and alpine slide at Bromley Mountain. We can't wait to return next year -- we'll be staying at one of the other properties even closer to my extended family's rental house and I'm so excited for its private balconies, jacuzzi tubs, and even more beautiful mountain views!

The grounds are beautiful, serving as an outdoor sculpture garden, perfect for strolling or meditation. The inn is located away from the bustle of Manchester Center, but only a few minutes away from Main Street and the state roads to reach nearby towns. The main house was rented out for the weekend, so we were unable to go inside, but Melissa graciously offered to give us a quick tour when we checked out (contactless, as was the check-in), so we had the opportunity to meet Melissa, as well as the "doggie concierge" Jetson, and sampled some muffins baked on the premises. Top-notch service and hospitality, would love to return in the warmer seasons!
