    Modern wall decor

Solid food option, not a very wide menu, staff was slightly tight (2 wait staff for entire place). Fairly quick service. Ramen was okay, the fried chicken looks heavy batter but very light and juicy. Place has modern decor and interest mural.

I went here while out shopping. I was slightly confused walking in if I seated myself or ordered first at the bar...I think a sign would be helpful at the door. I had the classic with pork belly. I was served quickly. The flavor was good but I think there should be more meat. The broth was fire hot but the noodles pretty cold. I think warming the noodles would help because the heat left the broth quickly. It's a nice interior with ample seating...music playing a little loud so if I was with someone I think conversation would have been difficult. I'll be back I know.

You'll need to order extra meat if you like having various slices, you only get one with the classic ramen coming to $17 after tax, where I'm used to getting two in other places for the same price. Nothing critical about the place but nothing extraordinary either. The broth has good taste, it's smokey, but I think the broth volume was slightly less portion than the location in South End. Ordinary service and clean place overall.

I came here with a friend on a Monday night and it is a simple and casual ramen place! The servers were overall nice, but just seemed ready to go home and not as engaging with us. I got the Spicy Veggie Ramen and my friend got the Garlic Truffle Ramen. While we both enjoyed our meals and it was pretty filling, we both agreed it could have used a little more flavor for the ramen broth. Overall it's a nice quick stop to go to if you're in the mood for something warm, however, I wouldn't consider it my #1 spot for ramen. I encourage you to give it a try for yourself!

Hip hop and ramen, what could be better? I came here on a weekday night and the atmosphere was casual. They had a solid playlist going and lighting that wasn't too bright, not too dark that set the mood. They had a seating area towards the back that was designed for solo diners which I appreciated. Service was fast and easy. Everything was brought to my table in under 5 minutes it was actually crazy. I ordered the Shoyu on Fire (extra spicy) with chicken. The broth was the right amount of spicy and had some nice flavor. The corn in the ramen was a good touch as it cuts the spice a little bit when slurping the broth. I wish there was just a little more chicken in this dish, as the protein went along with it well. The ramen noodles themselves were pretty good. They were firm and chewy, and plenty of them to go along with the spicy broth. I would definitely come back to try the other things on the menu that look great!

Wife and I were wanting something warm and comforting to brace the cold we'd been experiencing. This place does ramen really well. Both ramen dishes we got were rich and filling, they warmed us up really well. There are no complaints on how good the ramen was. My only complaint is that there's no kids options on the menu, yet they have high chairs. Also the music that was playing was extremely inappropriate for the public. Talking about stroking and changing positions.... Would be a 5/5 if the music wasn't lewd, and if they had more kid options to match the high chairs.

The menu items are delectable. On my latest visit, I enjoyed the Garlic Truffle Ramen. This is a blend of creamy pork, vegetable broth, garlic, truffle oil, kale, mushrooms, black pepper, seaweed, and a seasoned egg (as per the menu). I also enjoyed the White Peach Sake (another new favorite). The dish may be my new favorite. It was great to see the restaurant beginning to fill with patrons as the dinner hour approached on a Saturday afternoon. You can't go wrong with a hot bowl of ramen.

Food: doesn't taste good. It is far from being a good ramen. The bowl is extremely large for what a Ramen should be and it is very expensive too. Gyozas were not good. Service: slow, inattentive. Ambience: just ok ! Small restaurant in the middle of others that are better. Skip it. There are far better ramens in town, unfortunately none in the area.

This place was very good. The server wasn't very friendly up until the end when the check came out to the table and wrote out "cash tips are highly appreciated:) " Otherwise the food was super delicious and we would definitely come back.

    Spicy miso ramen

I ordered spicy miso...spicy isn't on the menu but they were more than happy to make it for me. While I waited for my food I spoke with (who I believe to be the owner) for a while. He was pleasant to talk to and even recommended another ramen restaurant. I'm definitely going back and highly recommend you do as well. A quick shout out to the guy who left another review about this restaurant saying that the miso was the best. That's why I ended up going.

Came here during lunch time, no waiting time and was able to seat right away. The restaurant looks great with their wall decorations and artwork. The food came out right away, we had pork buns, the meat so tenderness and flavorful, the ramen soup is creamy and delicious. Pork bowl (small) size are good portions for light lunch or quick bites.

Best ramen! I live in Charlotte and I always get my food delivered. Every delivery is a 10/10 experience. The orders are correct and they deliver ramen the best. Everything is separated and sealed which keeps everything fresh. The resturant itself is a cute cozy space. I've never dined in but look forward to doing so.

Much better experience this time around dining in. The food was good and the service was excellent. Pricing was phenomenal for 2 people. Sani rating was a little low. The area heading to the bathroom seemed like a storage room and can use an upgrade to reflect better of where customers walk and have access to.

This place received excellent reviews and seemed star worthy, so we went. As soon as we walked in, the young ladies at the front were smiling, friendly and professional. But the food was not what I expected. Some sushi rolls didn't have much of a taste which seemed very odd to me. Then some were really good. Crab rangoons were literally nothing special, so wouldn't get those again. I am not sure if we would return. If we did, I would only try the Ramen next.

Enjoyed the shrimp pad thai but wish it could've been spicier or I had the choice to ask for it to be spicier. The Singapore noodles was very good. Lots of flavor and the curry was very mild. Husband's wok hei rice noodles wasn't what he expected - he thought it would be long noodles - but he enjoyed it too. The soup noodles, dumplings and sushi were great as well. I had hot ginger tea that was already sweetened. It was very sweet. I would not have ordered it had I known that it came that way. I drink my teas, hot or cold, unsweetened so I did not finish it. Service was outstanding. The place was busy but we got our food quickly. Servers were visible and available. There's no sound dampening or soft surfaces to absorb the noise so it's pretty loud esp when they're busy. This isn't a place I could sit around and have a nice conversation while enjoying the food. It's just too noisy. Next time we'll just order takeout.

This is, without exaggeration, the best ramen I've ever had -- the kind you dream about afterward, and then feel genuinely heartbroken over because it's five hours away from home. Why must the best things always be so far away from me?! But this spot has officially earned a permanent place on my "best of the best" list for my bestie's city, and I am beyond stoked to come back. Everything we tried -- every single bite -- was incredible. Honestly, no wonder there's a line out the door. This place has earned it.

We started with the pork gyoza, which were delivered quickly and were delicious. For our entrees, I had the Tonkotsu Black with added braised tofu, and my husband had the Spicy Tantan. I don't usually like eggs in my ramen (because they are never cooked enough), but Menya cooked theirs perfectly soft boiled, and I loved the flavor the egg added to the soup. Both soups had complex flavors, and we loved them. The tofu was great--thinly sliced and flavorful, if a bit salty--but I am not sure I'd need it again. My husband thought his soup was perfectly spicy. A note about parking - if you can park in the lot in front of the building, you scan a QR code, and open a parking time block. (I believe Menya paid for a 2-hour block.) You then enter the information on an iPad at the back of the restaurant to validate your parking and start the clock. It was easier than I expected, and I'd definitely use this parking service again. And if you can't get a spot in the lot in front of the building, you can park on the neighborhood streets just one or two blocks away. All told, it was a great meal for a reasonable cost. We'll definitely return!
