Craving ramen and knew I had to stop by Silverlake! They didn't disappoint! I enjoyed the Classic ramen with tofu. It's so flavorful down to the last drop! The service was great and the table was clean. We will definitely be back!

This place is located inside the food court called the annex at the collection. If you're handicap, there's limited parking in front of the food court on the street. There is also regular paid parking out front too. You use your credit card to pay the machine. There's free parking over by yard house and a parking structure behind the movie theater. There's a lot of parking in lots nearby. The ramen here is one of my favorite in the area because of the flavors. There's not many ramen places nearby. This is an order at the counter and sit down kind of place. You have someone come out and give you ramen. If you are ordering take out then you do not get to sit down in the dining area. You just wait in the area nearby. Service and staff were great.

Delicious food! Garlic truffle is a 10/10 every time! Seating can be spotty but every time I've gone with my boyfriend we've always been able to get a spot for dine in. Customer service is great and they're always very helpful at the register and when serving!

First of all, as a Japanese person, I will be critical of Japanese food. The ramen here isn't bad, but it's still average compared to the real ramen you get in Japan. But I still love seeing so many people enjoying Japanese food. And since it's hard for me to find a good ramen restaurant in my neighborhood, I come here sometimes. Every time I come here, I order The Classic Ramen: Creamy pork broth, bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed, black garlic oil, and seasoned egg. I always choose pork. If you enjoy spicy food, you'll love The Shoyu on Fire Ramen, which is extremely spicy. The service is good and friendly. The only drawback is that it's close to an ice cream shop, so you might end up eating ice cream after eating ramen lol

Really enjoyed this. It was inside a food court. You can take it to go or eat there. They have their own tables, but eating there does feel like eating in a mall. It's still a good meal. I loved the pork belly in my spicy ramen. The combos are more than enough to fill you up. Be aware of your spice tolerance when you order. Ask the servers, they'll help you out. Chill vibe, but don't expect to feel like you're in a noodle house.

We love silver lake ramen and had great experiences from other branches, except to oxnard branch.

Rude and Low Class "manager dani" I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing to ignore. While I was at the counter placing our order, my family went ahead to sit at an empty table -- a completely normal thing to do, especially when dining in as a group. By the time I joined them after paying, they were clearly upset. They told me that while I was ordering, a lady came over and rudely told them they shouldn't be sitting until they ordered. No courtesy, no understanding -- just a cold and disrespectful attitude that was totally uncalled for. My husband had to respond to her to stop her rudeness and ask for the manager--only to find out that she was the manager. To make matters worse, she actually had the nerve to ask if we wanted to cancel our order -- as if she was hoping we'd just leave. It felt like we were being pushed out rather than welcomed as paying customers. So we ended up cancelling our order. The manager identified herself as "dani" (an asian looking woman with light brown colored hair). Based on her behavior, I honestly don't think she has even the slightest sense of what it means to be in a management role. Her attitude was unprofessional, lacking any customer service skills or basic respect. Totally low class. With leadership like that, this branch is headed in the wrong direction. We won't be back, and I hope ownership seriously reevaluates who they put in charge. No customer deserves to be treated like that.

Really great Ramen but the service not as much. I've come here twice now and the first time they were closing early when it says 9 PM is the closed date and I got there at 8:45. the second time I got there during the dinner and it took forever for us to get our food. The dining area is inside of the collective so it's very small seating but we did manage to get a spot. It's very loud in there but as to be expected. The garlic truffle Ramen was delicious and I wanted to make it spicy so I asked for a Side of whatever the shoyu on fire makes it hot. They gave me some sauce to add inside of it, and the combination was bomb!

I would had given them 5 starts but the seating for dine in had a wait. It is located inside the Annex at the Collection, which on a busy day, it is probably better to do take out instead of dining in. The ramen was good. Choose the pork belly and it was well cooked. We will be back for take out for sure

Love coming to the annex! I got their combo meal which includes a ramen and an appetizer for $20. I got the shoyu ramen with chicken. The chicken was processed and had a strange texture to it. The broth was average. The gyoza was not good and the filling had an odd texture to it and the taste wasn't good. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was also a disappointment. The rice tasted old and the tuna had an odd flavor as well. Their ingredients are not quality and it shows. The green tea was ok, but tasted very watery. Overall, I would not recommend the appetizers, but the ramen was just ok. I appreciated that they brought the food to our table in a timely manner. The ambiance is cute being surrounded by other restaurants as well.

Silverlake ramen is located in the Annex. Really easy to see right when you enter in. The layout of the restaurant is a bit tight though. There are sit down dining but it doesn't seem like they have their own space compared to the Vietnamese place next door. We decided to order our ramen for dine in. We had to wait a couple of minutes before sitting. We were helped promptly and ended up choosing creamy broccolini as our starter as well as garlic truffle ramen and classic ramen as our main meal. Creamy broccolini: Perfectly crispy on top, tender, well seasoned, and sauce was addicting. Garlic truffle ramen: Noodles were cooked perfectly, soup was extra creamy and piping hot. Egg was nice and jammy. It did get a little bit old after a while because it was just so creamy. Classic Ramen: can't go wrong with the classic. Though, the pork was really fatty and was not as tender as we expected it to be. The soup and noodles were good though. This is a good place to satisfy your ramen needs. Perfect to eat on a cold day or even if you have a cold yourself!

Was out shopping and came here on suggestion. Tried the Pork Bowl and it was delicious! 9/10. It was really fresh considering they were near closing. I think it was around $14. It comes with alot of meat so if you're a meat lover, get this! I personally saved half of it and ate the rest later. The rice was cooked perfectly, egg was jammy and had been soaked in flavored broth, and the pork was sweet and salty marinated pork belly chunks. There was like a 50/50 amount of both fat and meat. The green onion and hint of spice from the jalapeño makes the whole dish come together. If you're vietnamese, I would say its very similar to Thit Kho which is braised pork. I'd definitely recommend trying this! Cant wait to try other dishes here some day.

Solid place to eat! They have their own tables which is nice considering this place in is the Annex food hall. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. I really enjoyed the buns and rice bowl i got. My friend loved the ramen with chicken.

So I ordered takeout and when I got there I wanted to eat at their table. They said it was only for dine in and couldn't eat there. It's not a sit down restaurant it's a few tables in front of store after you order at the counter. They made me go out to eat and it was their policy. Stupid policy! read more

I love their ramen here, but the new policy of having to sit at their crappy tables takes all the enjoyment out of it. Once upon a time you could throughout the annex, even at the bar, and enjoy a nice bowl of ramen. Now you can't take beer out of the bar, you can't sit in any of the nicer spots around the annex, and you can't sit outside. We've stopped going because their tables are usually dirty, crowded and unpleasant. It's a stupid policy that ruins the experience. read more

I really like Silverlake ramens food BUT they need to change their policy on eating there. They have 5-6 tables. If those are full, and there are at least 50 other tables in the annex, you have to take the ramen to go in a flimsy large cup. Are they afraid people will take the bowls. This is not acceptable and needs to change immediately read more

First time eating Ramen, and it truly did not disappoint. I love spicy and this place had different levels of it. The portion was generous and the quality of the meats used was superb. I did the to go version due to limited seating but once I found a table it was on they arrange two bowls, one with the noodles, veggies, meat, chili paste and a soft boiled egg, green onion and the meat of choice. The other bowl was a creamy garlicky:spicy broth. I had the chicken BLAZE the chicken breast was juicy and well grilled, the egg was a creamy, jelly liked yolk and had lots of flavor. When pouring the broth, and mixing the flavors together made a whirlwind of a party for my taste buds. Every spoonful was a mix of buttery, spicy, salty and creamy liquid dream. The ramen was just the right amount of thickness and firmness. Before the ramen I had the fried gyoza appetizer and it was served with a creamy spicy sriracha mixture. The gyoza was amazing and the pork filling was super tasty. I highly recommend this place..... uhhhh YUM!!!!! read more

I think this is the best ramen in Oxnard and definitely gives the other ramen shops in Ventura County some great competition. I am aware of three popular places to eat ramen in the entire county, but for Oxnard, this is it. I have to put this restaurant right up there with Cagami Ramen in Camarillo. The quality is that good. The restaurant owner is also very health conscious. The first day the pandemic shutdowns were occurring, he got all his employees masks to wear. I was so glad they opened this restaurant in Oxnard Mall. It's turning that area to be one of the best dining centers in this region. read more

Excellent. 2nd time I had the Shoyu Fire Ramen with pork, medium spice. Be ready to wait for your food. Last time it took 30 minutes. Today was 35 minutes. 1/2 star off for the wait times. Other ramen places take 20 minutes or less and have excellent ramen as well. Can't figure out why Silverlake takes so long. read more

Honestly one of the best ramens i've had which is surprising, this location is also the best of the silver lakes. The blaze is definitely the way to go. The only downside is your order WILL be wrong, so make sure you double check your food if you get it to go lol. read more

I didn't realize this was inside a food hall, but it was a really cool spot and vibe! Unfortunately, there was no inside seating for me to get my ramen to eat there, but I got it to go and there was plenty of seating outside. I was scared to get it to go based on other reviews, but it was still just as good! I got the veggie broth and it was delicious and creamy. Pretty average ramen. The everything from the broth to the noodles aren't anything to write home about. This would be something to start off on for someone who has yet to venture out of the instant ramen territory as it is definitely a step about the casual Maruchan. I would not come back solely because of the price but if I was in the area and a friend wanted to go then I'd be ok with the experience every once in a while. Service was nice but I do wish they had fountain drinks instead of cans in a mini fridge. read more

Love the Ramen. I am puzzled . I bought two classic ramens to go as we never finish it. The cashier said you cannot eat in our area. Even though I gave her 15% tip and to go . So I won't to back . Nice wait staff, pleasant location and average ramen. This restaurant is located in a spacious, clean food court (plenty of parking) with lots of fun decor and plenty of other eateries to choose from. I ordered the classic ramen with pork. The tonkotsu broth, noodles, egg and seaweed were pleasant. However, the pork pieces were very mediocre--either overly fatty or strangely hard and jerky-like. The hard pieces were so tough that they were difficult to eat. It also took quite a while to fill our order. On a separate note, my friend ordered the vegetarian ramen and the impossible bun and thought they were great. Overall, my experience was decent. I hope that the meat was just a fluke; I might come back to try some of their other options. There's also a pho place a few feet away (Love Pho) where you can grab some pretty good and cheap boba to drink with your mean, which is nice. read more

Had order from this place 3 times to eat there because my daughter like ramen. Everything single time we have been there we order to eat there, and every single time they give me the order to go. Definitely Tuesday was the last time. My daughter wanted a soup and to eat there which they told me to have a seat at table number to which my daughter did. I don't like their soups ( I think those soup taste disgusting) but my daughter like them. I went to get something for me from the other places. OMG so good! The pork belly is thick and crunchy, the egg perfectly cooked (not all the way hard boiled), the broth is thick and delicious. Generous portion of noodles and broth. I am completely stuffed. Will be back soon! Wish this was an actual sit down restaurant and not just a take out place. read more

Love that we get to have good ramen outside of the greater LA area. While I enjoy all of their ramen sometimes just the classic is the way to go for me. Highly recommend a side of karaage and/or gyoza - so tasty - and the sauce they pair it with compliments both perfectly. read more

We ordered recently for pickup and my boyfriend wanted to add pork belly blaze ramen with tofu topping BUT there was NO PORK at all only tofu. When we came to pick up the order it wasn't even busy for them to mess up the order. Especially since it's an ONLINE order and not an in-person order. Really disappointed that this is how they are treat the orders from customers that want to support them during this time. If you want messed up orders, be my guest. read more

i like this place because of how convenient it is in a food court. i love their Blaze ramen soup, but it's so sad when they only HALF an egg... most ramen soup i've eaten will have one whole egg... the CLEAR broth is more salty, the creamy sauce is perfect with the spiciness if you come here for lunch during the weekdays will be perfect because it's not so busy. the weekends will be a big pain to wait for a bowl of ramen read more

I couldn't dream up a better Ramen -- I decided to finally give this place a try tonight and was not disappointed! My takeout order included the Blaze Ramen and Pork Bunnnz! (bc omg how can you resist a good pork bun). I was so impressed with both dishes, how thoughtfully packaged my to-go meal was, the freshness that came through from all of the veggies, and the outstanding service! The broth was rich without being heavy or having an off-putting aftertaste! Their pork belly was well done, with generous portions and a perfectly crisped exterior to complement the creaminess of the broth! Their homemade hot sauce was just the cherry on top. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes now. Highly recommend this place! read more

Got the soboro rice bowl (large) and it's so much food. Currently on day two of snacking on it. Has rice, green onion, ground chicken, and scrambled egg. The pickled onion (red) is pretty strong. Next time I go, I'll ask for the standard purple pickled onion that they put on the pork bun. Pretty good:) read more

My review is for the service. Food is good, just took a really long time for us to get it. They are either super super busy or really slow in the kitchen, but with 3 cooks I think they are just slow. Unfortunately, the service is horrible and their sitting is very limited. The girl handling the take out and orders is very rude, and aggressive with her words. Horrible, horrible customer service, she got upset because their printer printed our order twice which we had no fault or anything to do with that. In my opinion, she needs more training or needs to get another job where she doesn't have to interact with customers. read more

You know, I like this place. Don't get me wrong. But their quality is not enough to rate it a 5. The noodles are still very raw to my like, the broth is not hot enough to cook it well. The flavor is amazing! Lever 2 spicy is my favorite. The chicken and other proteins are very yummy. I give them a 4 because They forgot to add chicken to one of my orders. I was in a rush to get home so I didn't check it, so I recommend if you're picking up review the order so you don't go home without your protein . I understand it gets busy but it isn't the first time they forget items, so both customer and staff, please check your orders read more

It is impossible for this place to get my orders correctly. Every. Single. Time. There's a missing ingredient or a completely wrong order. You can't reach them by phone either so you're just screwed. I'm underwhelmed. I heard great things about the restaurant while I lived in LA. When I found it was also in Oxnard - my boyfriend and I decided to order takeout. The food was delivered warm which is fine. But the noodles had more of a spaghetti noodle rather than a ramen noodle. They would not soften despite the re warming of the soup. I will say the pork was cooked well but it had entirely too much spinach in the broth. The broth wasn't terrible but it didn't feel fresh. Call me crazy - but this just didn't feel as authentic that I'm used to. The gyoza was great. But I doubt I'll be back. read more

I have tried the spicy and regular Tonkotsu Ramen and the dipping Ramen here (Tsukemen) Both are fantastic, you can't go wrong with anything you order here. If you are more of a fan of richer, creamy Ramen, go with the Tonkatsu. If you want a lighter broth, go with the shoyu which is a soy sauce-based Ramen. If you can get here during the lunch hour, the lunch special is excellent. You can get an appetizer, Ramen, and a rice bowl, for less than $13. I would suggest, for your first time, go with the Tonkatsu Ramen, either regular or spicy. I love the depth of flavor in their broth. You can really tell that they put a lot of effort into creating the perfect bowl of Ramen for their customers. I have been here during the lunch rush hour and during dinner time. Neither have had a significant waiting time. There is street parking available, though it might be limited during peak hours. If I had to say anything negative, service was a little bit slow, especially if you were trying to squeeze it in for an hour long lunch, though the results are worth it. Highly recommend! read more

If you want to stay in business hire hard working people, not lazy ones that are trying to leave on time. 2 1/2 hours before closing, came in to order and was blown away with the staff saying only takeout only and it'll be a 1 1/2 hour wait. With only like 4 or 5 order tags waiting and most of the staff just standing around is ridiculous. I eat here at least once a month and it's been in a down hill trend. Prices keep going up while portions and quality of food goes down. I'll take a break from this place until they get it together! The old staff was way better and faster! Come on, coming from Japan, and most ramen places that can go through soooo many customers in a day, this silverlake ramen would be a laughing stock. read more

This was so disappointing. I'm giving two stars because the appetizers were good (chicken, edamame and gyozas) but the main dishes were so bad they were inedible. We ordered a veggie ramen and a pork ramen and neither one was made with ramen noodles. Not only did they use the wrong noodles, but they were doughy, mushy and gross. The tofu in my ramen was also extremely mushy, even for tofu. I seriously do not understand the reviews saying how good the food is. It's terrible. It was so disappointing to spend $78 on a meal just to only eat the appetizers. read more

Service is always amazing per usual. The most recommended ramen is the garlic truffle which is amazing and soooo rich. Highly suggest getting it as well as, the gyozas for an appetizer. They are located inside the annex food hall at the collection river-park. Although it is a small area they have a waiting list and a good seat in time for when it does get busy. I tried the gyoza pretty good and it came with spicy Mayo sauce with cilantro on top. For the main entree, I ordered the shoyu which is a light soup base and not as heavy.
