I've been to many bike shops, none of them compare to The Bike Guy. First, the customer service is unparalleled. Josh is attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. We were in the market for an e-bike and he assisted us in picking a brand. He compared a brand that we were looking at with one we were eyeing at his shop and explained the specs on each, warranty info, and performance. Needless to say, with his help we settled on a great choice of the Kasen "City" and "Cross" models. Of the many impressive things about this experience, one thing that sticks out was the fact that he was very honest about the model we were looking for and the specs were very similar on both sides. Realistically we could have went and bought the other bike as we felt very informed after speaking to Josh. But you can't put a price on good customer service and honesty. Lastly, when our bikes were ready for pickup, our truck decided to get sick so to speak and we were unable to pick up the bikes. Josh actually went as far as to deliver the bikes with no hesitation and even looked at a traditional bike that I had in my garage and answer some questions about that one while he was here. I only went because of the positive reviews about customer service but unfortunately I didn't have the same experience as everyone else. First time I went, they didn't have the type of bike I was looking for but didn't offer to help me find another. Second time I called to ask about tuning a bike and was told it would take a week... Guess YouTube will be assisting me with that. And third, I went in to purchase some chain lubricant and wasn't acknowledged right away. I took in an old neglected kids bike that needed some TLC. Got new tires and tubes, new shifters and grips, and tuned up. While I don't think 135 is a good deal ....regardless, it saved me time. Besides, I would likely take too long to do it, and maybe save me half the cost, but twice the time. I would learn a few important things again about bikes, and the sheer satisfaction of doing it right yourself is very rewarding....But..I could be doing some other useful and rewarding things around the house, like....... "the sound that crickets make". Anyway! They did manage to get it done in time, and the bike came back looking great. If I needed something like this again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Rick.
