    Wonderful unsweet tea. Deliciously refreshing.

What a fantastic late breakfast stop I made here. The best cooking is the simple classic done extremely well. Simmer Down hit that for me. Granted it was a single visit, but from the first interaction with staff to the first look at the plate I knew I was enjoying something special. Eggs (scrambled), bacon (crispy) and hashbrowns (wow). Yawn not, my friends. I'm a baconator, a serial bacon killer, an unabashed orderer and devourer of the swine strips. My bacon sat patiently unattended while I scarfed down the best hashbrowns! Seasoned well. Crispy on the outside and deliciously tender inside. I was sitting alone but made noises like I was passionate with another lol. The eggs were fluffy and beautifully plated. And the bacon? The baconator left licking his lips and happy. I'm going back. See you there -- I'll be the moaning solo eater with the hashbrowns. Don't be frightened or offended, just ask me what I'm eating. Lol

Biscuits & gravy plus bacon; French toast, scrambled eggs with peppers, grits, potatoes, and sausage-- delicious!

We arrived at 10:30am so the restaurant wasn't crowded or noisy which provided a good ambiance for a first date. The twin servers were great! And the food was a delight-- one full breakfast buffet AND a lunch buffet. So I also enjoyed meatloaf, real mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and sweet tea. If you haven't been or it's been a while, I highly recommend going next Sunday before 2pm.

Food is not very good at all, service is okay, ambiance - old and tired. This place needs a major overhaul of it wants to stay open.

Amazing food, great coffee, and such a fun little store! I definitely bought too much and had zero regrets. Lunch was unforgettable. The jacked-up club sandwich with deli-carved meat was incredible and huge, easily enough for two people to share. The honey latte was such a treat, perfectly balanced and comforting. What truly made the experience stand out was the people and the purpose. The wonderful woman who took my order was learning the POS system and is a participant in their training program. She was kind, capable, and welcoming, and it was clear she was being supported, not rushed. It felt good to be part of that moment. We also popped next door to Sunflower Hill and purchased the most beautiful handmade items: a wind chime, a soap dish, and a candle. Each piece came with the story of the person who crafted it, which made them feel like true treasures, not just purchases. This company is doing something really special: making a genuine difference in people's lives while offering an outstanding product and experience. Popped in on a whim after shopping at Old Navy a few doors down. VIBE: Very pleasant seafood restaurant vibe. I didn't feel like I was inside a massive shopping center -- it had a nice seaside charm. At the same time, it was very welcoming and unpretentious. Casual, not at all stuffy in any way. MENU/FOOD: Great! Ample diversity. Whether you want to stuff your face full of fried food or eat healthy, they've got it. I had the Omega Bowl (salmon + rice + veggies) and it was delicious. We also shared the coconut shrimp -- really good. I almost forgot -- my kid's burger came with French fries and they were great -- I stole most of them. KIDS: At first, it didn't seem like a particularly kid-friendly spot (I didn't actually see any other kids there during brunch on a Sunday). However, we felt very welcome with our two toddlers (3.5 and 1.5). They have high chairs and a kids menu (a mix of fried seafood and usual stuff like hamburger). Additionally, both our waitress and the manager (who were extremely kind and understanding) both mentioned having kids as well. SERVICE: Excellent. Our waitress (Sarah, I believe) was very nice and attentive. The manager stopped by to see how we were doing -- also very nice. The hostess? I'll let you guess... also very nice. Even held the door for me when I was leaving since I had a small baby stroller (believe it or not, that's somewhat rare).

I'm used to having a thick 2-3 inch piece and they butterflied it. Was a tad dry very unlike a sea bass. This dish needs a jalapeño or poblano cream sauce! I'm thinking this was not real sea bass. Tasted or looked nothing like it. I'll try something else next time. Always consistently good here and we love the service! Hard to come by these days.

The waitstaff were all very kind and attentive. The food felt very overpriced for what we received. The brunch fruit bowl I received consisted of four thin slices of strawberry (not even one strawberry), two pineapple chunks and no more than 15 blueberries. The ham and eggs Benedict was borderline flavorless and the egg white was cold and runny. I love a good poached egg, but it was more liquid than poached. The tequila sunrise was musky and the flavor of the tequila overwhelmed the rest of the drink. I really wanted to like this place! However, I spent $35 on a pretty pitiful brunch meal. The restaurant seating area and decor were all nice. The bathroom had no music and is small and cramped (you can't get paper towels without either blocking the door or a stall). The people were kind and attentive enough that I probably would try it again? Maybe Sunday brunch or a different meal entirely.

I arrived for tacos on a weekend, but the taco stand was closed, and instead I got to choose between Chinese, Indian, or vegan Indian, so I got butter chicken and diarrhea. It was a cultural experience--made more so because I think we were the only American born people among the crowd, save for the owner/bartender and the band. But that's alright--cultural diversity made it more interesting. Of course, in such a crowded social place, it also made it hard to find people to talk to. Either way, I'd happily return if it had some more food truck options with some better food. These choices gave me gut problems for having stopped in. I see the vision. This place could be five stars if only there were more to choose from. But, the city is growing out on 29, so with urban density will come more people, and I suspect down the road this place will be an icon. But, please, get some Texan food, you know? Consistent taco trucks, Tex-Mex, BBQ, etc. That's what I want in a food truck park in Texas.
