My experience with them was a little mixed, as I will explain below. First off, the woman who answered the phone and did the initial coordination was nice and professional. I can't remember her name unfortunately, but that was appreciated. Seems like this company is willing to send someone to do a free quote for a job, which is good and how it should be IMO. I found that some other companies still charge for this though. She set me up for an appointment in the near future. The day of the appointment for a quote arrived. The person who was coming was not on time. I called them and they said that the guy was running about 20 minutes late. I waited 20 minutes, no guy. I waited for a while longer after that but he was very late at this point so I called them and left a message that I was leaving at this point as he was late and I wasn't going to wait any longer to eat dinner. As I was walking out, I saw this disheveled looking kid walking around my apartment complex. Turns out he was the guy who they sent. I told him that I didn't want to get the estimate anymore because he was very late. He looked angry, wasn't apologetic at all, and gave me a bit of an attitude. I'd rather not put the name of this kid in my review for the purposes of being merciful. Needless to say, I pretty much crossed All in One off my list after this incident. They did follow up with me afterwards to offer an apology and offered to send someone else. I hadn't decided on a company yet so I thought I'd give them another chance. The next person who came was plumber named Christina. Christina was very friendly, professional, and communicated excellently the whole time I dealt with her. She arrived right on time and did the estimate. The estimate she gave me was, by far, the best price I was offered after checking with like 3-4 other companies. She also let me know that I could buy my own shower kit for her to install (instead of the company themselves providing everything and there possibly being more room for upcharges as a result). I was able to text with her for feedback and she was very responsive. So I decided to pull the trigger on having her do the job. I live in a co-op apartment complex and there were a few more hoops to jump through than if I was having work done in my own private house. My co-op requires a licensed and insured plumber to do work on my apartment. All in One is licensed and insured FYI. I would have preferred to hire someone who was more underground in order to save money, but I couldn't in this situation unfortunately. Christina arrived on the day of the job and did the work. She let me know that the job was done and that my shower was no longer leaking. However, when I got back, my shower was still leaking. I was understandably upset that my problem wasn't solved, but I was able to talk to Christina and she let me know that another component (the shower cartridge) was to blame. I was a bit skeptical as my super had already changed the cartridge a few times, but I was appreciative that she was willing to come back that weekend to do the cartridge fix. Thankfully, after she came back to do that, my shower no longer was leaking, and hasn't been leaking since. So overall, my problem ended up being solved for a much lower price than what most other companies in the area were charging. But it came with some hiccups. Getting plumbing work done is a very, very stressful and expensive project. There were companies that were charging more than double the price of what All in One offered. But I had a good experience with Christina and would definitely recommend working with her specifically. Hope my long review was helpful. I don't buy him feeling unsafe, since Elizabeth has the potential to be as rough as some parts of Newark (which again, I don't live in). Regardless, if he felt unsafe, he could have told us earlier instead of wasting our time and now we have to find another HVAC in the middle of a heat wave. I thought they would never come from that far away, Nathan from Right Way assured me they come up my way a couple of times a week. I asked for a call from the driver when he was about 30 minutes away, and he did. My husband went home to meet them and was very impressed with their timing, experience and respect for our home. They fixed my dishwasher and ordered a part to be put on in the future to make it run more efficiently. I would recommend them and give them 5 Right way ordered the part for my dishwasher, kept in contact with me as to when they could install it. I told them to schedule the appointment for when it's convenient for them because my dishwasher still worked so it wasn't urgent. They texted me, called me and emailed me to set up an appointment that fit my schedule. Before They installed the part they showed me what the problem was. They were very quick with the installation but made sure everything was working properly before the left.

However I decided to use them they gave me reasonable quote and told me it will take about 2 weeks to get permits etc. They wanted to have the complete job with materials and labor, I didn't want to have materials from them bc was expensive and need to pay 50% down. I decided to order materials from ecomfort with lower price and installment agreement, it was easy to pay for me. Michael (owner) came to my business checked everything, measured etc.and told me what he needs as material. I asked him to confirm what exactly I need to order,3 indoor units 1 outdoor condenser 1 heater pan, 1 condenser pump,3×50ft total 150ft line sets and clear hose. I checked with him the capacity of the units and the rest of the equipment I need to order. He checked the list and told me order everything in the list i sent him by text message. After him and his staff finished the installation I saw the condenser pump in the box unused! I asked him that you want me to order this pump but you didn't use it! He goes ah I thought we will need it but not any more, I got angry and said ok take it back then you use it and I'll deduct from your balance. He took it with him and left. Later I was checking the materials and I saw he didn't use at least 60% of the line sets he made me order it! I put everything into box and put in basement. When he came to ask me to pay the balance I told him you told me to order 150ft of line sets and you didn't use easy 100ft of it!!! I paid nearly $700 for 150ft of line sets. I told him I will deduct $500 from his balance with returned condenser pump (paid $120) then I can give his check. He said no it's not my responsibility you bought the materials I just installed it. If you want you can sell it on ebay he told me. I said I have whole text messages saved in my phone that you told me to order all this materials I didn't order myself! As a contractor you came to my business you inspected you measured it and you told me exactly what I have to order then I ordered whatever you told me. He ignored and said no I won't take it back and left my restaurant! A week later he emailed me that saying he won't take the material back that's not his problem or responsibility, he needs his money by end of the week otherwise he said I will place lien on building and go to court. Plus he prepared wrong paperwork for permit, after a month building department respond that they need to fill out correct paperwork, imagine I lost just 1 month bc of their mistake to fill out wrong paper work. Another issue happened at last when I have my building inspection which was inspector came for inspection and found out they completed the job but didn't get the permit yet so they finished the job without permit! I was suffering to open my business asap I lost a week because of their irresponsible work ethic. Finally they got all paper work done and I passed the inspection. As I mentioned I had a lot of issues with this company called MFB MECHANICAL and absolutely advise people stay away from them if you don't want trouble!

However, I was advised to remove my initial review or our project would not be completed. On Father's Day morning, we called this company for an emergency due to issues with our boilers. Initially, we were impressed by their prompt response and diagnostic services. However, working with David and his company turned out to be the worst experience we could have had. David promised us a new HVAC system (water heater and heat pump) within a day or two. This has now turned into three weeks. The communication between us and David was terrible, and he even threatened us. To make matters worse, he left our family in the middle of a heatwave, with a newborn baby! David has said vile things to my family because we asked questions about the work that was supposed to be completed and complained that the service we paid for was not complete. He was angry that we filed a complaint with the financial institution we worked with to get the work done he removed the breaker from the heat pump system and told us that "our children will suffer tonight" ( heat wave in affect and it's over 100 degrees in the home ). His words were so disturbing that they are not allowed anywhere near our property. They also damaged and left a hole in our ceiling. After stating that someone would come to fix it, just like they usually do, no one came, and they didn't even bother to follow up. We had to pay someone else to come and fix it. We took out a loan for a specific system and he promised us that system, yet installed a cheaper lesser system with equally bad customer service. Once the job was reluctantly "finished," our heat pump didn't work, and we had to call in and pay other companies to not only evaluate the work this company did but also fix it. We later found out that the work they did could have resulted in a fire if we had kept the unit running. Not only are they dishonest and take advantage of emergency situations, but they also do horrible work.
